Located near the shores of beautiful Canyon Lake— the jewel of Texas Hill Country— Lavaca House is a pristine three-bedroom bungalow in a quiet, serene neighborhood. This modern bungalow boasts an open floor plan, covered back deck, and lush green space. Close to lots of water recreation activities, a par 72 golf course, beautiful hiking trails, and tons of delicious restaurants— there’s something for everyone here.
The Space:
The Lavaca House offers an open and spacious living room and dining room, making it the perfect space for amazing dinner and cocktail nights! The kitchen comes fully stocked with plate ware, flatware, serving platters, glassware including wine glasses galore, and other little necessities for those wishing to dine in. The spacious bedrooms offer luxury bedding and mattresses that provide an optimal and comfortable night’s sleep after the long days of enjoying Canyon Lake.
Guest Access:
✅ This property has special local compliance requirements which include a signed rental agreement, ID verification, and a security hold of $1000 (which is not a traditional security deposit, just a pending transaction). As an optional alternative to the security hold, you may opt in to purchase a non-refundable damage waiver provided by a third-party insurance company. The optional damage waiver is $53 for stays up to 10 nights, with an additional $1.5 per day for stays longer than 10 nights. Damage waiver purchases are optional.
To make this process easy for you, we use a secure and very simple, app-free platform. It is not an app, and you do not have to sign up for an account - it’s a safe and secure website. It also gives you a guest portal with all the info about the home and all of my favorite local spots.

Central Texas Bonsai Exhibit at Jade Gardens and The Island are also worth visiting. Make sure you get close to the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.
