Vistas del océano / playa desde la mayoría de las habitaciones y la cubierta trasera. Te encantará la hermosa decoración y los nuevos muebles en esta casa como nueva, con mucho espacio de entretenimiento tanto en el interior como en el patio. Duerma cómodamente con colchones, almohadas y sábanas de calidad disponibles.

Un paseo muy corto a Long Sands Beach ... a unos 500 pies! Mientras caminas hacia la playa, estarás cerca del centro de la playa de Long Sands, justo al sur del restaurante Sun & Surf. ¡Ideal para familias debido a la cantidad de espacio en la playa, incluso en marea alta, y la mejor pesca de cangrejos y mareas en la ciudad durante la marea baja! Lugar perfecto para caminar o correr por la playa también. Y una caminata rápida a algunos de los restaurantes locales o tomar el tranvía hasta el Faro de Nubble o Short Sands Beach desde el final de la calle. Hay flotadores disponibles para alquilar, y el área de Long Sands Surfing está a solo 10 minutos a pie. Socorristas de guardia todo el verano.

This property offered us a very good "sweet spot" for balancing distance from the beach without being too crazy expensive To. We have a three and a five year-old and if it was any farther away it would've been difficult. Any closer and we might not have wanted to spend the money. It was just right! Comfy beds too :-)

Wonderful house in a quiet neighborhood. Very clean and well maintained. Ideal for families or a group that wants some peaceful time together sharing some meals and conversation. Easy check-in and check-out.

Wonderful getaway

Very roomy, clean, well-stocked for our family of 10. Short walk to beach and very comfortable deck. We would have been more comfortable if the bedrooms had bureaus or luggage racks. Overall we would recommend this property.

Wonderful Labor Day weekend

Everything was perfect. We enjoyed our time at the home. There was 9 of us and fit us all. Close to beach but also quiet and relaxing. A big thumbs up!

Great house, great location!

We enjoyed our weekend at the York Beach house. Easy walk to the beach and a few restaurants with kids. The beach itself was beautiful. The house had everything we needed and was very comfortable for our group. You can tell Ed has taken a lot of time to think of everything - including detailed instructions and FAQ. Thanks!

As advertised

Enjoyed the stay. Great location. Clean and spacious home. Ed was great communicator and had some nice local recommendations. Only knock would be on the cleaning requested prior to departure, which included not just stripping beds/towels but running thru washer and dryer. Seemed excessive, especially considering we were already paying a cleaning fee. Overall, very positive experience and would stay again.

June rental

We enjoyed our stay at this property. The house was in a great location, within easy walking distance to the water and coastline. The house was clean, impeccably organized, and maintained. However, given the high price of the rental, we were frustrated that we had to make beds, clean sheets and towels and have everything folded and back in a closet before an 11:00 check put time. In addition, there are no dressers, luggage stands or any place (other than the flood) to put the luggage. A folding luggage stand in each room would be a welcome and easy fix.

Great retreat!

This property was perfect for our family of ten. Having the bedrooms upstairs away from evening adult noise helped the little ones sleep well. The kitchen was adequately appointed with everything that you could want. Plenty of disposable paper goods were supplied. A wonderful beverage cooler was located on the lowest level allowing the refrigerator to be used mainly for food items. The bedrooms were nicely sized, ceiling fans helped keep us cool and the beds were very comfortable. Great Weber grill was on the deck for easy access to the kitchen and it was very clean. Plenty of parking was available and the short walk to the beach allowed us to skip the dreaded search for expensive parking spots. We hope to rent this property again in the future, it was everything we had hoped for in a vacation home destination .

Great place for a stay while in town for a family wedding

Property is immaculate and plenty of space. Our family (2 adults / 3 college aged children) thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Was perfect for the family wedding as most of our family was staying close by. Great location, stress free get away! Would rent again for sure

Maine getaway for 6 adult family members

Quiet side street-enjoyed the deck, the grill and the fire pit. House was large and modern with lots of room. Owner was gracious and quick to respond. Wed rent again.

Terrific house!

We loved our time in York. Ed was such a great host and made the process very painless. The house was just as advertised, and Long Sands exceeded our expectations. It is difficult to find a vacation that pleases both the forty something parents, the teens, the preteens and the littles, but this house did it. We had a great week and are so thankful for the memories.

Family Wedding

We were in town for a family wedding and there were 6 of us staying in the house, all adults and older teens. The house was clean and a good size for our group. 4 of the beds are bunk beds though, so might work best for a family with some younger kids. Having multiple bathrooms was great for getting ready, the kitchen is really big and roomy and it was stocked with everything you would need to cook. Communication with the hosts was great during the entire process. Also close to the beach if you go in the warmer months and not far from the Nubble Lighthouse. I would definitely recommend!

We've been here year round for over 20 years, and I've been coming here in the summers for over 40 years. Not quite a townie, but not far off either...

If LIKE NEW & CLEAN matters to you. Stop looking. The house was designed with families vacationing here for the summer in mind. It was designed with an assumption that 1 or possibly 2 families would share the house.
