ST LAURENT MEDOC, 15 mm from the beaches of Hourtin lake and sea, 40 mm from BORDEAUX city classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We are located in the heart of the Médoc and its prestigious castles, the surf spot No. 1 Medoc 'Plage du Piin Sec' is 20 nm drive.
The equillaire center of 'Marcillan' a few minutes will welcome the possible riders.
We propose you to reside in a beautiful stone house of 220 m2 on 3 hectares of which 5 000 m2 of park. In a country atmosphere.
The property is equipped with a 12X6 salt heated swimming pool surrounded by a terrace of 80 m2.
You can lunch under the trees at noon and you will have a terrace to dine away from the dampness of the evening.
A large plancha will embellish your barbeccus.
You also have the possibility to consume fruits and vegetables from our vegetable garden (tomatoes, zucchini, peppers, eggplant, salads, herbs .....), against a slight daily watering.
You can also pick fresh eggs daily.
We welcome horses, donkeys and cats on the property, you can go see them, they are very nice, still keep a close eye on your children.
Our house is completely and perfectly equipped:
In the rez of putting on a kitchen dining room of 45 M2 this space extends in our stay of 60 m2, all the modern equipments are at your disposal (flat screen, home cinema, hi-fi chain ...).
Our living room is framed by a large mezzanine, equipped with a TV area, game, video, games console, for the youngest, an extra bed of 2 places is at your disposal. On the opposite side an office for the big ones, the house is equipped with a live box for your computers.
At night, 1 master suite with bathroom on the ground floor, upstairs, 2 large bedrooms, a smaller one and a large bathroom.
Our house is located 100 m from a street ending in impasse, absolute calm guaranteed for nights full of tranquility.

Holiday tainted

The house is lovely and in a beautiful area but has not really been set up for renting. The communication from the owner was poor, with no communication until just before arriving, and no instructions left for running the house. This then became an issue when we left. We had put all the recycling in the bins at the end of the drive. There was no bin or area for glass so we created a box with glass bottles in. This was then raised as an issue when we left, plus we were charged an additional £83 for replacing bedlinen (which was apparently stained but no photo evidence was sent through to prove this, despite requesting this.) We were also not warned that we would have to feed their cats and have them live in the house. The cats liked to jump on the beds and sleep with us, which frightened the children. We tried keeping the cats out at night, but they meowed and woke us up. So, if you do stay you should note that the cats live in the house. Overall, we had a good stay as the area is beautiful, the house is peaceful and the pool is very well maintained. But our stay was left tainted by the cats, the poor communication and the excessive undeserved charge at the end.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour d’été dans cette grande maison parfaitement équipée. Les espaces sont lumineux et très propres, la literie confortable et la grande cuisine dispose de tout le nécessaire. Le vaste jardin et la piscine ont fait le bonheur de toute la famille. Les enfants ont adoré s’occuper des animaux (chevaux et âne) sous notre supervision — un vrai plus qui a rendu le séjour encore plus agréable. Le cadre est calme et reposant, tout en étant assez proche des commodités (Plages, Lac, Forets, Chateaux Medoc etc). Communication fluide et hôtes attentionnés. Nous recommandons vivement et reviendrons avec plaisir !

Des vacances extraordinaires dans un clima familiale

Mutwilliger Betrug

Als wir ankamen, hatte der Vermieter die Anlage mutwillig doppelt vermietet. Es war bereits eine andere Familie vor Ort, wir standen plötzlich ohne Unterkunft da, die ersten zwei Urlaubstage daraufhin im Eimer … Als wir versuchten ihn telefonisch zu erreichen war er natürlich nicht mehr erreichbar. Erst von FEWO erfuhren wir die Sachlage. Der Vermieter versuchte mit diesem Vorgehen darauf zu pokern, dass ein Mieter spontan absagen würde um so die Einnahmen von beiden Mietern behalten zu können. Ich betone es nochmals: Mutwilliger Betrug. Bitte nicht buchen!

Landelijk gelegen, ruim familiehuis met zwembad.

Prettig verblijf op een wat afgelegen locatie met zwembad. Dieren op en rondom het erf te verzorgen. Dat was leuk voor de kinderen. Afstand tot de stranden 35-50 minuten. In de directe omgeving weinig vertier. Maar al met al genoten.

A beautiful house in a gorgeous garden!

We spent two weeks in this wonderful house - two families with kids from 12 to 17. The house offers a lot of space and besides the rooms for sleeping it has a spacious living room and a huge kitchen with everything we needed. The surroundings are absolutely gorgeous! The garden is full of wonderful plants, flowers, herbs and fruits. There is plenty of space around the house, the neighbors pretty far away, so you nearly feel like being in the middle of the landscape. The place of the pool and the pool itself are just perfect. No plastic furniture outside, we appreciated this very much! Everything is chosen very personal and special. And we enjoyed the animals so much! For example we learnt a lot about how smart a donkey can be! The communication with Isabelle and Franck was very friendly and helpful. Thank you so much for everything, we hope we can come back! Manque d'entretien extérieur

Arrivé à 16h , herbe très longue, piscine pas chauffée 21° grâce au soleil , bomde de fond cassée très coupante dangereuse si on avait eu des enfants , terrasse piscine avec les margelles en planche de bois et vis apparentes, lendemain matin dimanche 8h30 réveillé par le propriétaire et son énorme tondeuse jusqu'à 12h Maison et propreté rien à dire , équipement au top manque juste un énorme entretiens extérieurs et niveau terrasse ainsi que ce qui est des transats , chaise de jardin et hamac bref le mobilier de jardin très usagé

Un agréable séjour dans le médoc

Nous avons passé un superbe séjour à 7 dans la propriété bien entretenue de Franck. Les enfants (12, 14 et 15 ans) ont particulièrement apprécié la présence des chats, du cheval et de l’ânesse. Nous avons eu de la chance avec le temps. Il a fait même chaud (jusqu’à 35 degrés), nous avons donc profité pleinement de la grande piscine. La maison est grande et reste fraîche par chaleur. La proximité avec le lac de Hourtin, la côte atlantique et Bordeaux est parfaite pour faire des sorties. Nous recommandons vivement cette propriété! Merci à Franck et à sa famille.

Superbe propriété au sein Medoc proche des vignobles et de l’ocean

Nous avons passé un superbe séjour dans cette propriété: - très bien équipée: salles de bain neuves/rénovées, cuisine très bien équipée, piscine chauffée tout confort, mobilier en suffisance, appareils multimédias de haute qualité - ayant du charme: mur en pierre donnant un cachet spécifique à la région (l'apéro le soleil couchant est superbe), décoration intérieure effectuée avec goût mêlant moderne et rustique - située en plein cœur du médoc: proche de l’ocean, ses plages et activités nautiques mais aussi de la myriade de châteaux qui raviront les œnologues - en pleine nature: un âne, un cheval, 2 poules et 2 adorables chats raviront les enfants et les amoureux de la nature sans pour autant causer de désagréments (seuls les chats sont à nourrir 1 fois par jour -> une immense joie pour mon fils de 6 ans :-). Un verger et un potager sont également à disposition ! Si je devais ne serait-ce que notifier un point d’amelioration pour les futurs locataires: l’emplacement des chats à côté de la chambre au rez-de-chaussée (qui est superbe) pourrait incommoder le locataire au niveau des allergènes et du bruit. Étant venus à 6, nous n’avons pas eu besoin de l’utiliser mais prévoir une chatière dans la buanderie serait un plus selon nous. Bref, ce point de détail n’a en rien impacté notre séjour et nous sommes certains que cette propriété ravira à coup sûr ses futurs locataires... Merci à vous Monsieur et Madame Lap**** / Cor**

Sejour trés agréable et relaxant

La maison est trés agréable à vivre et est entourée de champs. C'est trés relaxant et apaisant. La piscine est grande et chauffée ce qui est parfait pour des enfants jeunes qui craignent le froid. Le propriétaire était facile d'accès lorsque nous avons eu des questions sur le séjour.

Séjour très agreable

Très belle propriété avec des extérieurs grands et bien entretenus. La présence de poules, coq âne et cheval plait aux Petits enfants de même que la cueillette des fraises, prunes,...La piscine est très agréable’ elle mériterait cependant une meilleure protection. De même l’absence d’intimité des toilettes et wc pourrait être remédié facilement.

Un havre de paix

Les propriétaires ont eu la gentillesse de nous accueillir dans leur charmante demeure aux dimensions généreuses et à l’environnement calme et reposant. Toute la famille a apprécié à sa juste valeur ce moment de repos et de sérénité dans cette maison où l’on s’est immédiatement senti comme chez nous. Les plus jeunes ont apprécié la présence de Fripouille et Icare les deux adorables chats, les ados se sont régalés dans la très grande piscine tandis que les parents ont profité des transats et des belles soirées d’été sur la terrasse. Merci à nos hôtes pour ce joli moment et qui sait peut être nous y reviendrons nous un jour...

Au calme dans un écrin de nature

Nous étions 4 adultes et 3 enfants - La maison est très spacieuse et ouverte sur l'immense parc / jardin qui l'entoure, le calme assuré à moins de 10 minutes de Saint Laurent Médoc où l'on trouve tout ce qu'il faut pour faire les emplettes. La maison mêle charme typique à rénovation confortable (cuisine et 2 salles de bain du bas). La piscine et ses chaises longues ont ravi grands et petits (elle est entretenue par les propriétaires qui passent tous les 2-3 jours contrôler la qualité de l'eau). Les animaux; l'âne Reglisse, les 3 poules qui fournissent des oeufs quotidien, le coq et les chats qui se baladent tout autours de la maison ajoutent une note sympathique au cadre (attention toutefois aux personnes très allergiques aux poils d'animaux qui pourraient être incommodées). Enfin Franck et Isabelle les propriétaires, sont très amicaux, serviables, et plein de bon tuyaux concernant la région; nous les remercions pour leur accueil chaleureux dans cette belle et grande maison!

Parfait pour les familles

Magnifique location. Parfait pour les enfants avec les animaux (poules, coq, cheval, âne, chats...) et l’immense terrain autour de la maison. Bel espace piscine. La cuisine est tres bien équipée. Propriétaires disponibles. L’emplacement est idéal entre la vigne et l’océan.

A genuine French farmhouse in the heart of the Bordeaux vineyards.

A very charming farmhouse that felt like home from home. It is an ideal location for all ages and with temperatures up to 40 degrees the house remained cool and the pool temperature perfect. The kitchen was very well equipped and the house held real charm with the chickens, a horse a donkey and three cats who were very tolerant of our playful husky. The gardens are expansive with lots of fruit trees. It is only a short drive to the local good quality supermarket and boulangerie, and to the coast or Gironde estuary. For wine lovers there is an endless selection of quality vineyards within easy driving distance. We have no hesitation in highly recommending this beautiful French farmhouse and we hope to visit again soon.

House ok but dirty and cats!

3 cats living there hat we were unaware of. No washing machine for first week until owners bought a new one that I had to install. Someone came to eh house everyday and let them self in regardless if we were there or not. Strange pipe in swimming pool that kept coming of. No towels provided. Bathrooms unfinished and floor just chip board. No internet capability and no 3G. Location great apart from neighbours dogs that bark relentlessly. Bearing in mind the cost, we did not feel the house had enough quality to justify the price, perhaps when it has been refurbished and the works finished it will be better. Area fantastic and we will revisit but choose our holiday house more carefully.

Séjour merveilleux pour adultes et enfants dans cette très belle maison.

Nous avons passé 3 semaines dans cette propriété. Il y a tout, une belle espace à l'intérieur, un très grand et beau terrain avec poules (chasse aux oeufs tous les matins pour les enfants), chats et chevaux à côté et en plus une belle et grande piscine chauffée. Nous étions nombreux et tout le monde a adoré le lieu, facile d'accès, au calme mais très bien situé près des plages et du village pour les courses. Les propriétaires nous ont très bien accueilli et étaient toujours disponibles pour résoudre le moindre problème. Nous retournerons!

Un super séjour

La maison est grande et a permis a chacun d'y trouver sa place : les ados dans la piscine et les grands à l'ombre de la terrasse ou sur les chaises longues au bord de la piscine. Le jardin est très grand est permet au enfants de s'y défouler. La maison a beaucoup de cacher et est très bien équipée avec une très grande plancha et une cuisine très fonctionnelle. Nous avons pu profiter des animaux de la maison et là encore ce n'était que du plaisir. Sa situation permet de profiter d'une partie du vignoble bordelais et avons pu faire de belles rencontres dont le château Julia. Merci encore pour votre jardin potager que vous avez mis à notre disposition pendant notre séjour ainsi que votre verger : manger les haricots frais que l'on ramassés n'a pas de prix ! Mille mercis pour cet excellent séjour <3

Séjour idyllique !

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette très belle maison. La maison est très bien équipée et très agréable à vivre. L'immense jardin, le potager, les animaux (chevaux, âne, poules, chats), la superbe piscine et les jeux d'enfants en font un lieu de vacances idyllique pour petits et grands. La maison est idéalement située en plein coeur de la belle région du Médoc et à 20min de la plage. Je recommande fortement !
