The overall experience of our stay was awesome! Everyone enjoyed the property from the lake to the hot tub to the projector. Well stocked, it had everything we needed for making great memories and great food!
The host was very accommodating unfortunately the house had some plumbing issues which had to be addressed immediately which caused us to leave 1 day early.

"We always want our guests to feel comfortable and well taken care of. We followed up with the homeowner after reading Paula’s feedback, and they wanted to share the following:-We sincerely apologize for the plumbing issue that impacted your stay; we appreciate your patience while we addressed it immediately.-We want to reassure our future guests that this was an unforeseen circumstance caused by a blockage in the piping, which has since been fully cleared and repaired.-We are glad we could be accommodating during this event, and we have taken steps to ensure the plumbing system is in top working order moving forward.-Thank you for your feedback as it helps us maintain the best possible experience for our guests."

Great stay!
Our group of 9 had a wonderful time at this home!! The spaces were big enough for everyone to enjoy time together, but also many options to break off into smaller groups or have some quiet time alone. The home is beautifully remodeled and had great amenities for us to enjoy! Would definitely book this home again!
My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful vacation home! There was the perfect amount of space for everyone to spend time together. The pictures do not do this home justice!
Absolutely beautiful property with plenty of privacy. Family of 9 fit comfortably and house was clean with beautiful decor. 100% would recommend as we are planning to come back in summer.
The owner was great with communication. The house was clean and the beds were comfy. The outdoor projector was a nice addition. We had a great time and loved the house!
We loved this property from the moment that we walked in! Our favorite part was all the outdoor living space, which is primarily where we were the entire day. The home was so beautifully decorated and there was nothing that was missing for our stay! The furniture and beds were all so comfortable. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful home with us, we can't wait to come back!
We visited here to celebrate a birthday. We had the best time. The house is beautiful and they have thought about everything. The kitchen is very well stocked and there so many areas of the house you won't feel cramped at all. Great time and highly recommend!

Fantastic House
These owners paid attention to every detail: Yeti coolers available (very handy since we forgot ours); an ice machine for the perfect boating companion; a new boat slip; beautiful landscaping with eye catching lighting throughout the terraced yard; a large grill; a fire pit on the deck; remote controlled lighting on the screened in porch, where we spent the majority of our in-house time; and hotel quality beds and bedding.
Host thought of everything! Spacious home with many cozy spots to gather and have fun! Three large porches, family dinners, coffee by fire pit table, hot tub, movies, games. Lake access was perfect for swimming and ski boat dock. Rented ski/wake boat from Boundary Water nearby and had a blast with water sports!
Most of our time was spent out on the screened in porch playing games, relaxing, and eating. The home was beautiful and there was plenty of space for our family without getting in the way of each other. We would definitely come back again!
Our family gathered in for a graduation celebration. This fabulous home has every amenity. It is truly comfortable and cozy. We so enjoyed the hot tub, games, and terrific surrounding area. What a lake ! We hiked and went tubing. The screened in large living porch is such a treat. Early risers with a cup of coffee will enjoy the peace listening to all of the birds Thank you for sharing your home with us. The Oregon Jones’s
The house and property were very clean and enjoyable to stay at for our nine adult family during the Thanksgiving holidays. We had family gather from across NC and stayed for three nights. The house has a lot of amenities to entertain everyone as we rented off season when the lake levels were low and it rained for two days. House has plenty of space to move around and parking was good for our adult family. You are close to town if you need to run to pick up something but you definitely feel you are away and can enjoy the scenic area of the mountains and lake area. We enjoyed getting away to see Helen Georgia one afternoon. Fenced in area was a plus for our dog. Everyone enjoyed the sunroom overlooking the lake, hot tub, fire pit and hanging out on the porches each night. Plenty of kitchen ware on hand. We fed 13 people (more family that came for the day) Thanksgiving dinner with ease..
We would recommend booking this property.

Lovely Home
We loved staying at this home while visiting Hiawassee for a family reunion. The accomodations were comfortable and clean. The decor was tasteful and interesting. Everything worked as it should. The screened porches about double the living space for this home. The driveway takes your breath away the first time up and down, but we were able to traverse it with a 15-passenger van; so I figure if we could make it up, anyone else should be able to also. Thank you for accomodating our family.
Beautifully decorated home, great entertainment amenities. Kitchen was a little lightly stocked with cooking untinsil, (bacon tongs, a few other things that cant quite remember) but you can make due.
My personal only thing that I had issues with was just at the top of the paved driveway where it turns to gravel their is a little drop off so if your not in a suv or truck you may be a little to low. Not at all a deal breaker for me. Once I knew, I knew to navigate it right. The parking area is very large witch is a plus for several travlers.
Over all for us it was a great stay!
Family memories made! And that's always a ✔️!
The house was amazing and so peaceful. My nephew fell in love with the loft/playroom. The hot tub with the projector was also his favorite. My family and I enjoyed our stay at this beautiful lake home. Will definitely book again in the future.

Lake was dried up
The cabin was nicely renovated with a beautiful back porch area. However, it would have been nice to know that the lake (we planned on fishing) was dried up/dammed. It was a large mud pit around the dock and no water. Also, as stated in previous reviews the driveway was a challenge. The area leading to the house was a little run down and the house was right next to a graveyard. These are all things that had we been advised we would have chosen a different house. The biggest issue was the lake. It was made clear to have a fishing license (we did)- it was not made clear that the lake was dry in this location during this time of year.
Again beautifully renovated home!!

Hi Kat, we want all of our guests to rest easy when they stay with us, and we're sorry that you experienced some issues during your trip. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and we wanted to share the following:
- We always strive to provide all the information before booking to ensure guests find the perfect vacation home for their needs, and we sincerely apologize we missed the mark. The listing description states that due to regulated water levels, the dock is only suited for canoes and paddleboards from mid-September to the beginning of April. However, we will update the description to ensure guests are aware the lake is drained at certain times of the year.
- There are two driveways available for guests' parking convenience. The driveways can fit eight vehicles, and there is trailer parking allowed on-site.
- We include a map on our listing so that guests can see the approximate location of the home and surrounding area prior to booking, but we apologize that this caught you off guard.
Thanks for letting us know about your stay!
We had 10 family members stay in this beautiful home. Something for everyone to do. Games & toys for kids. Jacuzzi was a nice addition. The large porch was the area area we spent most of our time playing games, watching TV, reading a book and eating our meals. It was chilly on the porch the heater & fireplace warmed the porch nicely. I had a couple questions for the owner she replied immediately.
The driveway is very steep and turning into the driveway is tricky. After conquering the steep driveway I asked the owner if we could use the other gate access she said yes. I highly recommend using this entry.
The house is kitchen stocked with everything you’ll need.
Beds were comfortable. I love 3 bedrooms have kings size beds.
My only suggestion would be to have a few more dish towels for kitchen.
The house is inviting and comfortable.
