Purpose Built Farm Stay Cottage

Ideal family holiday cabin. Get up close to our friendly cows (Hamish & Oreo), Pat our loveable sheep Shaun and Tim. Pick fresh eggs daily courtesy of our chickens and enjoy our 2 mini pigs (Dozer & Willy). Experience the tranquillity of country life.
If you are arriving in an electric vehicle a $25 per day charging fee will apply.
Please let us know your reason for visiting our area and who you will be traveling with, when booking.
NOTE: All our animals are free range so we have a strict NO pet policy.

The whole family loved the short stay we had at the property - a highlight of our trip. We hope to return and stay longer next time we are in the area. The cabin was clean and comfortable and we loved a night by the fire, the farm animals, and the host was extremely welcoming and helpful.

Fun country getaway

We had a lovely weekend at Marble Hill Farmstay. We loved the friendly animals, firepit and privacy. Easy access to the city centre and fresh eggs!

What a beautiful spot! Travelled with our 2 toddlers and can't reccomend enough this place! The kids had a ball playing with all the animals and running around. So quiet and peaceful. Perfect family friendly spot! Thank you for having us and making our kids day!

We had such a fabulous time. The accommodation was very comfortable and had everything we needed. Greg was a great host and was very generous with his time and knowledge. Our two young kids absolutely loved the animals. Staying here was a highlight of our trip.

Marvellous location for families

The cabin was great and we loved the rural setting - picturesque and peaceful but close enough to the local attractions in Armidale and Uralla. Despite the autumn chill, the outdoor area and fire pit got a lot of use and our 10yo daughter adored the farm animals.

Our family had a wonderful few days at the Farm Stay. Greg was a great host. The cottage was cosy, warm and well equipped. Our kids absolutely loved the animals, especially the chickens and pigs. We enjoyed spending time around the firepit in the afternoons. We're already planning our next visit.

Great stopover

Great location in quiet rural setting 10mins from central Armidale. Clean and cosy. Easy check in and out. Our little one loved the miniature sheep, Shaun and Timmy, who were super inquisitive and friendly. Would definitely stay here again.

Little piece of paradise!

Everything was exactly as advertised. The animals were great and so much fun for our 1 year old. Location was amazing, nice and quiet and still close to town. Check in and out was super easy and Greg was lovely to chat to. The port-a-cot and high chair were super helpful as well! Highly recommend staying at Greg's Farm Stay.

We loved our recent stay! A fantastic cabin that was fresh and clean with some goodies and supplies for breakfast on our first day was a life saver! Our kids loved the animals and being able to feed and pat the animals. Greg was an amazing host and would totally recommend this farm experience to other families.

Country comfort and hospitality

Greg was friendly and hospitable. We all loved Shaun, Timmy, hamish and Oreo. Fresh eggs for Brekky and a cuppa on the verandah - just lovely! Only regret is we didn’t stay longer! Many thanks Greg!

Great place and Greg very nice and easy to get along with

We enjoyed our stay, unfortunately due to weather. (Snow) we did not get to do all the things we wanted to and no power which made it very cold, no heating or lights, this was not the fault of the property owner in any way, don’t know what he could have done as he didn’t have any power either. We had our own car so not sure about transport in the area, full kitchen and all appliances good.

Marble Hill Farmstay

A great spot for a quiet and peaceful holiday. Our host Greg was friendly and informative. The cottage was clean and comfortable and only 10 minutes from Armidale. The farm animals of cows, sheep and the chooks that gave us lovely fresh eggs were a great distraction with galahs coming in the late afternoon. There was room to chip golf balls. After coming from the coast we did find it a lot colder!

Lovely

Very nice, cozy and well equipped, spotlessly clean. Close enough to town for convenience and far enough away to be wonderfully peaceful. We were five adults and enjoyed our one night here after a long day of travelling, although we might have found it a little small for a longer stay. Really good for a family with children, though, and absolutely ideal for a couple. We loved the evening by the fire, Hamish and friends, and the fresh eggs. Thank you for your hospitality.

It was a pleasure having Angela stay with us. The cabin was left in perfect condition and Angela is a great communicator. I would definitely recommend Angela to other hosts and hope to see this group back again one day.

Family loved the farm stay

We had a 1 night stay with our 4 children and the all loved it. So much to do and they loved the animals. Great is an excellent host and we will be turning. Kids are already asking to go back. We highly recommend this wonderful farm stay. Thank you very much for everything Greg We loved our stay.

Luxurious farm cabin

We arrived late after a very long drive and it was a delight to enter the cabin. It was extremely clean, modern and well equipped. Lots of luxurious extra touches. Lovely comfy beds and bedding. It is situated on a small farm with access to the animals and fresh eggs. It was very peaceful. It was a shame we only had a short stay.

Tranquil and delightful!

The stay was fantastic from start to finish. Greg was a great host and offered a tour of the property including feeding the beautiful farm animals! Loved Hamish the Scottish Highland cow! Greg was a perfect host and supplied farm fresh eggs for breakfast and a clean cottage! All in all very comfortable and will definitely return!

Excellent Accommodation

This cottage was well appointed and presented, with everything you would require including farm fresh eggs. Greg the host was very welcoming and so was Hamish the Highland Scottish Coo (cow). The outdoor area was ideal to sit and have a drink admiring the lovely views in this ideal location. A place you would want to revisit. Barb & Scotty
