Spectacular view of the Strait of Juan de Fuca and the Olympic mountains. Family of bald eagles. Watching the ships go back and forth. The host Melodie was extremely helpful and communicative, especially about things to do in the area. Cottage was well equipped, including BBQ. Soaking tub and hammock much appreciated.

Quiet and relaxing

This cabin was just perfect for a quiet and relaxing getaway. Beautiful view and cozy. Proximity to Shirley Delicious was an added bonus!!

Wonderful stay

We wanted to get away and relax and it was just that! Beautiful property far enough away from the hustle and bustle to chill out but close enough to do a day of shopping. Just perfect.

Great Stay!

Melodie was the ideal host. She always responded promptly to our questions, both before and during our stay. She provided many great recommendations re: local restaurants, beaches and hiking areas. Her place was clean, peaceful and an ideal home base for exploring the surrounding areas.

Spectacular accommodation, amazing views! Plentiful wildlife. The cabin was romantic and perfectly setup. The small touch’s made it perfect. Could not have imagined a better stay.

It never gets old because, while it is always the same, it is always different too: sail boats, tankers, fishing boats etc. And the wildlife? It is plentiful for sure: songbirds to eagles; sea lions to whales, bears, cougars and sometimes the odd cat strolling by! This Getaway Is A Must!

From the time we were booking this property to the time of our stay, the host, Melodie made sure that everything was perfect for our stay here. The placement of these cottages is just perfect - the view and the serenity were just what we needed. It was an awesome way to celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary.

Had an amazing stay! The atmosphere is beautiful and peaceful. This place had everything you would need and enjoy . It was a great escape into nature! Melody was wonderful to deal with.

What a beautiful place!

The cottage is well designed with everything you need. There has been a lot of thought put into every detail to bring comfort to your stay. The ambiance is calm, private and relaxed. We felt pampered with the accommodations and setting…an amazing view that is ever changing. Melodie is a great communicator, answering questions prior and during our stay! We will certainly visit the cottage next time we travel to Victoria.
