We are located on the lower side of Missionary Ridge. The battle of Missionary Ridge was fought here on Nov. 26, 1863. The Confederates camped in the very spot where this house was built in 2016. There is wheelchair access and an empty lot next door for overflow parking. We are pet friendly and have a nice fenced in yard. It is a 3 bedroom, 2 bathrooms, living room, dining room with a washer and dryer in the kitchen. Comfy furniture and soft beds for your sleeping pleasure. I furnish toiletries and breakfast. Downtown Chattanooga is only 2 miles away. Across the street we have Shuffleboard, Horse Shoes, Picnic table with a grill and a Bocce Court. The garden on the next tear up was on the Hamilton County Master Gardener's Show in 2013. Walk through the garden, enjoy the views of Chattanooga, and sit down by the Mermaid Fountain with goldfish, and let your worries disappear.

Relaxing and family friendly
perfect! Tammy has thought of everything to make your visit wonderful. perfect for families and couples. quiet and no traffic on street. the outside amenties were wonderful. the home is gorgeous, clean and has everything you can possibly need. highly recommended.
Thank you, Alice. It was a pleasure to have all of you here this weekend!
Wonderful house & hostess
Clearly a lot of thought & care has been invested to decorate & provision. Met all the needs for a family of 5 with small kids. The street is a bit secluded & highly vegetated, natural refuge in the city. Once off this lovely street, the neighborhood is quite run down. It didn’t present any problem but was unexpected. Highly recommend this house; it’s quite a bargain.
Hope you enjoyed everything Chattanooga had to offer. You have some cute, sweet children! Thanks for choosing Gray Gables. You all get a thumbs up for the care you took of the house! Thanks!
The Gray Gables Experience
Our experience at the Gray Gables was nothing if not perfect. The rooms are comfortably furnished, the kitchen had plenty of dishes and such. There were books and games for all ages to enjoy. This lovely home was filled with everything we needed for a long weekend get together. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch listening to the sounds of nature, exploring the gardens at the owner's residence, and playing in the yard with our grandson. Close to everywhere we wanted to go, the location was wonderful. We were pleased to find a charcoal grill and cooked out a couple of times. It was a welcoming place to stay.
Perfect Holiday Home!
Our stay at Gray Gables could not have been more enjoyable. The house was clean and fully furnished with everything we could need and more! We thoroughly enjoyed access to the grounds across the street for walking through the lovely gardens and playing yard games. It was the perfect place to celebrate our son’s Graduation . As a hostess, Tammy went over and above our expectations. I highly recommend this home!
I could not ask for a better guest and family and friends! Everything was taken care of and it was nice to see everyone enjoying themselves. Please drop by any time you are in Chattanooga and walk through the gardens! Thank You! Tammy
Wonderful house and owner!
We stayed at this adorable house for one night in each direction on our way to and from Florida. It was beautiful, clean, and well stocked. Plenty of room for us and six kids. Unfortunately, we were unable to explore the property due to the weather. Both my husband and I would love to go back for a longer trip. Tammy came over to introduce herself on the first night. She was so sweet! We would definitely recommend this property for either a short or long visit!
Please do stop by again, any time!
Fabulous Family Fun
We had a wonderful stay and thoroughly enjoyed the playground and games that Tammy provided. My son is now a cornhole champ. The location was very convenient to the river area, Rock City, and all the touristy things we wanted to do. It was our first VRBO experience, but it will not be our last. This was a wonderful place for our family to rejuvenate after our long days adventuring.
Thanks, Sarah! I love it when it is a first time experience and I get to be the one to set a good example! Ah, the pressure! Love that all of you have a wonderful time please look me up next time you come to town. The house looked fabulous! Thanks Tammy
