About this property

Enjoy the huge southern porch. Grab your sweet tea, Relax with Your Best Friend!

We are located on the lower side of Missionary Ridge. The battle of Missionary Ridge was fought here on Nov. 26, 1863. The Confederates camped in the very spot where this house was built in 2016. It is a one story house. We are pet friendly and have a nice Fenced in yard. My insurance does not allow pitbulls, chows or dobermans or any mixes with these breeds. It is a 3 bedroom, 2 bathrooms, living room, dining room with a washer and dryer in the kitchen. Comfy furniture and soft beds for your sleeping pleasure. I furnish toiletries and Little Debbies and coffee. Downtown Chattanooga is only 2 miles away. Across the street we have Shuffleboard, Horse Shoes, Picnic table with a grill. The garden on the next tear up was on the Hamilton County Master Gardener's Show in 2013. Walk through the garden, enjoy the views of Chattanooga, and sit down by the Mermaid Fountain with goldfish, and let your worries disappear. Relax with your sweet 2 dogs! My insurance does not cover Chows, Pitbulls, Rottweilers, or Dobermans.

We loved that it was very clean and stocked well!Also they have so many extras, from bay stuff to curling irons! They also had coffee and snacks to start you off!Our puppy also enjoyed the back yard to run and play!

This property was such an adorable cottage. It was convenient to Rock City and Lookout Mountain, as well as to Ruby Falls. A bit of a drive to get to the Missionary Train Ride, though. The hostess was very pleasant and friendly; she came over to introduce herself, which I really thought was nice of her to do.

I grew up in Philadelphia, Tn on a small horse farm. I moved to Chattanooga to go to college and have stayed here since. Like kudzu my roots go 6 feet under.

Why they chose this property

I had this property build for a vacation rental. I own the whole block. The other houses are yearly rentals. I have been playing Monopoly in my neighborhood since 1983. There are 2 other short term rentals on this same block, Ridgedale Roost and Kathy's Kottage, Thatcher's Mill House and Makin' Memories for large family events.

What makes this property unique

The city of Chattanooga is experiencing rapid redevelopment, economic growth, and what some call "gentrification". This means that if you stay in the city, you are likely to be on a street with a wide variety of properties, ranging from very good condition, to fair, to vacant. In addition, there is great racial, cultural, and economic diversity with city residents. I live across the street and love it here, but it may not be for everyone. I want all guests to consider this prior to booking, so no unfavorable review result.
My insurance does not cover the follow dog breeds: Dobermans, Pit bulls, and Chows.
Please do not ask for a late check out. I respect that my cleaners have lives other than just cleaning my rentals. Feel free to stay another day. Thank you!
