We stayed in unit number 4825. The location was great, just 20–25 minutes from most of the parks. The place was nice, though some things were a bit old and worn but still worked fine. The open kitchen and living room were perfect for gathering, and the pool was a big hit with my grandkids. I felt the price was very reasonable with the location. We did not make it to the club house, but it looked great, we just ran out of time. A few things could be better, like the noisy beds and mattresses that made a crunching sound. We had 4 adults and 2 kids for 5 nights, but only 1 roll of toilet paper per bathroom, 1 roll of paper towels, 2 garbage bags, and no laundry soap were provided. Maybe that’s their standard, but other VRBOs I’ve stayed at supplied enough for the stay. Providing more supplies would have made the stay easier. Overall, none of these small concerns would prevent me from staying again, and the host was very responsive to my requests.

Great stay good value The house was spacious for our family 3 adults and 2 children we could have easily had more stay. The unit was clean and looked as pictured, but it was not renter ready when we arrived for our stay. The unit was hot and stuffy, the refrigerator was struggling to cool items, and the pool looked like it was under filled or leaking. After hours of the AC running and the temperature in the unit increasing we messaged customer service and were advised to give it time. By bedtime we were one degree shy of being in range of calling for emergency repair services. The first evening of our stay was miserable. The unit has no fans for air circulation, and we were concerned that the groceries we purchased for the trip were going to spoil. A service ticket was put in and maintenance arrived the next morning. The outside unit needed servicing and the refrigerator was in need of a specific replacement part that we had to wait for the owners to approve the purchase of prior to the repair being made. Ultimately, the repair part purchase was approved and repairs were complete by 7 pm. Again, not how we anticipated beginning our vacation. Once everything was repaired and operation, we enjoyed our stay. The location is great for those visiting the parks and close to Publix. Check in / Check out was easy. Complex amenities are as described.

You have to download a different app, to which is useless other than being able to email the property managers. We received our email to check in, 30 minutes LATE, after check in time and after I sent an email requesting the check in information I was supposed to receive by 4pm. We didn’t get the QR code for the gate until the third day of our stay and after having to request it via email. Emergency number for after hours is not a functioning number. The condo was spacious but the ceiling in the kitchen is damaged in two different places and has not been fixed, the rug in the dining room is ripped and the living room rug is a total tripping hazard and needs to be taped down! The ice maker didn’t work on the fridge when we got there, they sent someone to fix it only for the water dispenser to drip all over. The private pool is super small and looks like they ordered it from Temu and it doesn’t keep the proper level for the pump to work. Blinds are missing for the patio sliding glass doors. The mattresses are all old and have worn spots. The master bathroom commode room has mold in the light fixture. Master bed frame hasn’t been dusted or cleaned for a long time. Pots and pans were all filthy and had to be scrubbed to use them. AC cannot go below 72, which makes sleeping hard because it is a little too warm.It is in a good location, the trash was picked up every day, it is nicely decorated but needs to be cleaned and updated.

Family vacay

Over all was just ok. Cleanliness was poor. Found candy by bed in kids room. Mold on and around vents on kitchen ceiling. Carpet was dirty looking. The rug in family room was turned up on the corner, tripping over it several times. Neighbors were noise into the late night hours x1 night. Community pool area was nice but 1/2 mile walk to get to it. Private pool was nice, however small. Beds were extremely in need of new mattresses, very squeaky. Over all was ok but needs some deep cleaning and better up keep.

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Pros: The location was perfect. The resort was nice and lots of things for kids to do. Cons: We were not given enough towels for everyone. We had to give security our drivers license every time we came thru. The beds were the noisiest I have ever heard in my entire life. The sheets seemed to be clean, but were stained.

Fun

We had the best time at this resort, the amenities were phenomenal and the weather was perfect. Everything we needed was close by and the place itself was clean. This is the second time we’ve stayed at this resort and chances are we will come back.

House and Location are fine. Communication was an issue.

The house is nicely located near the parks. It has a decent layout. It is clean and the area seems safe. The beds have spring mattresses which makes them noisy if you move in your sleep. The bedrooms do not have ceiling fans, there's 2 small stand-up fans, but that does not help everyone in the house. The main issue for me is the lack of communication and disorganization from the property management. I had to sign the rental agreement twice, initiate payment twice because they said may Vrbo payment didn't go through, and I had to resend my party information twice.They responded well before my stay, so I figured accidents happen and thought nothing more of it. A day before my travel, they sent a link to an app (not Vrbo) for further communication. I messaged via Vrbo and email that the links did not work for me, and they resent the same email. I tried contacting them again twice and did not hear back from them about it. On check out they sent another email referring to the app for checking out. I messaged again via Vrbo and email that I couldn't access the app and heard nothing back from them. I wouldn't stay here again because of this.

Maintenance was poor

This property was, by far, the most poorly prepared property I have ever rented on VRBO, and I have rented quite a few. Properties that I have rented in Honduras and Panama were exceptional compared to the way they prepped this location. Carpets werre dirty, fridge had mold around the water dispenser, and the patio area was filthy. We were even charged for a service call and all the checkthtemprefrigeratorcall.

It was okay - there was hair in our shower. Very limited toilet paper and garbage bags. Left a message to get our pool heat on and no one called back. The pool guy who came by also said he was going to have it turned on and never was.Very spacious house, great kitchen space and nice to have multiple bathrooms. Was a good location.

Roaches

I was very unhappy that when we arrived at the property there were dead roaches on the kitchen and living room as well as roach dropping in the bathrooms, on the linens and on the kitchen dishes in the cabinets. I also had a roach run across in front of me when I got up to use the bathroom during the night. When I reported it, they told me they would send housekeeping out and would let me know when they would arrive. Housekeeping showed up without notice and didn’t not speak ONE WORD of English. They said they would send housekeeping out again and I told them I would use the vacuum I found and I would clean the rugs and towels. They asked me not to clean the rugs. I cleaned all of the linens so we could use them. The only thing they offered to compensate us for our inconveniences was an hour later checkout. ALL of the beds were LOUD, hard. and squeaky and woke other family member up just by rolling over. They also provide very little toilet paper, nothing to wash dishes such as a sponge or soap and a very small roll of paper towels. Be prepared to stock up before you get there on necessities. The broom was hidden in the bedroom closet The shower head was awful and the shower liner was gross! The clubhouse was beautiful and very relaxing, HOWEVER, you have to drive to get there because it is not on the actual property.

Never Again!

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: First, upon arrival you are slapped in the face with the smell of rotten beer in the front porch area. As we entered the house, we were greeted by a cockroach 🪳 on the stairs, in the living room and in the pool outside. Although it says no smoking in the house, you can still smell remnants of smoke throughout the house. Several of the utensils and dishes were not clean and were sticky. The bed sheets had stains that appeared to be from bodily fluids and also smelled like smoke. The sliding back door has two slides in which one of the sides can easily be manipulated to open even when locked. We went in the off season so the community pool area was not crowed but I could see how this could get crowed very quick during season. This was my families first ever stay in a rental house while on vacation and with the poor experience we had, we will never do it again! I’d rather stay at a hotel where I can have daily room service or if inside with the room be moved to a different room.

Worse house ever

Perfect Condo but rude staff

The condo itself was a great space, perfect location, and loved how spacious It was. The property manager was super good about messaging me back through Vrbo anytime I had questions. I’m torn on this review because the actual condo was great and the owner was great. However, Storey Lake staff were very rude upon many interactions. Because of this, we will not return. I hate that because It’s not the owner’s fault at all. However, because this condo is contracted through Storey Lake, their rules apply. I know It wasn’t anything “personal” per se on our part because sadly, we watched their rude interactions with multiple families on property. This was mostly at the pool clubhouse. Coolers, bags, personal cups, none of that is allowed. I’ve been at many condos at which that’s never been an issue, however, one place we stayed before did have that rule, but no one cared about what you brought in. The clubhouse does bag checks and goes through all of your things which I thought was rather overboard. I also mentioned how I have a 2 year old who just wanted some crackers and small chips (things they do not provide at the clubhouse restaurant) and I was not allowed to have anything for him. I understand rules are rules, but the staff was just extremely rude anytime they conveyed a message, along with the lifeguards as well. One of which who raised his voice at me. Like I mentioned earlier, I know It wasn’t just against us because we watched It with other families unfortunately.

Will for sure look to stay again!

Pros Location to restaurants and food shopping Location for parks Pool oasis. Nice and clean House was very nice Pool staff Nice pool chairs at oasis Cons No beach towels. Even though it was listed as none it would be nice Beds were sooo uncomfortable. I mean we had to go buy a mattress and return it a week later bad Back pool door was hard to lock Communication with check in.

Very dated and nothing like the pics posted

Dated and not kept up. All vents dirt/dust build up, blinds missing, A/C system was crap, no dish cloth or drying towels, couch was like sitting on floor ( bottom gone out of it), bed was so squeaky and uncomfortable, pool was dirty and no way to take depre out, all the lounge chairs were out back and all were broke, the amount of dust and dirt build up on mouldings was disgusting and carpet needs updating. Curtain rods hanging off the walls. What ever the pics showed online was the complete opposite when we arrived. I think it’s a total disgrace that people can rent these places out in this state and think it’s ok. We travelled a long distance and paid a lot of money and to arrive to that was disgraceful.

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Looking for relatively cheap accommodations for Disney, this is it. Paid to have the pool heated, which was worth the $$. They serviced the pool midweek-kids got a rash. Pool lounge chairs ripped. Carpets not clean, rug taped to floor, towel bars taped to wall, paid extra for grill to be “unlocked,” propane was empty, decided not to fill as we would only use it 2x. Teflon peeling off kitchen pans. No kitchen dish soap or sponge. 1 garbage bag, 2 dishwasher pods. 1 roll (partly used) TP in each bathroom, no extra. Resort pool crowded. Needed to be there by 9:15 to get 1-2 chairs. Forget it after that. Lines to get drinks/food. Clearly not large enough for the number of units that pool is available to. Would recommend due to location. If you are picky, pass on this.

Okay Experience

Overall okay. Like in other comments, the beds have to be changed. Very noisy every move you made on the bed. The cleaning was minimal, you can still see some food and crumbs on the carpet area. Kitchen and living room was nice. No complaints about bathrooms. Found a few palmetto bugs running around inside. Location is good for Disney and universal.
