Welcome to the chalet La Catrina on the shore of Lake Gérard in St-Alphonse-Rodriguez ♥

✧ La Catrina is the dream destination for the family of epicureans. Its spaces are designed so that every moment is filled with fun!

✧ The main floor is a large open area with large windows overlooking the forest. There is the living room with smart TV and wood fireplace, the dining room which can accommodate 6 guests, the fully equipped kitchen to allow you to cook with the food essentials provided (oil, spices, coffee, sugar, flour, etc. etc.), then a full bathroom with washer & dryer. You can eat on the balcony terrace containing a propane bbq, an outdoor sofa and dining furniture. This is our favorite spot to observe blue jays!

✧ A staircase leads to the mezzanine, which opens onto the living room. An office space is equipped with two monitors, a desk and an ergonomic chair, in addition to having access to an ultra-fast and reliable wifi connection (80 mbps). Adjacent is a bedroom open to the common area with a queen bed, as well as an adjacent full bathroom. This open bed-room has windows without curtains. Expect the light to come in early in the morning.

✧ On the garden level, there is a family room, including a multi-game table and more than ten board games that will liven up your evenings! The space is also fitted out with a mini-fridge and a second smart television. There are two closed bedrooms containing a queen bed each and a storage space with high chair and a small mattress for children.

✧ Finally, from the family room we have access to the second terrace, where the charcoal bbq is located, the spa which is open year round, an outdoor shower in summer, and access to the garden with its outdoor fireplace convertible as a grill!

✧ You will have access to the entire property in complete privacy, with the exception of a wardrobe which is used to keep our personal effects.

✧ By booking with us, you will receive a Guest Manual giving you all the important information to know about the chalet, in addition to the addresses of relevant activities and shops nearby!

✧ Bring your skates, we made a rink on the lake behind the house!

✧ The outside shower and the boats are presently not available for the winter season.<

• Rules for Dog Friendly:
CATS ARE NOT ACCEPTED. We accept a maximum of 1 dog under certain strict conditions and only with our authorization. We are animal lovers but have had bad experiences in the past with owners who disrespect our property, thank you for your understanding.
๏ Additional costs: $ 100 per stay per dog
๏ We do not accept young dogs under 1 year old.
๏ Your dog must be "clean", must not climb on furniture and access bedrooms at all times.
๏ Your dog must not cause noise nuisance for the neighbors.
๏ Guests must pick up dog droppings at all times and keep the yard clean.

*TV*
We have two smart TVs with a Roku system in the chalet, but do not offer cable channel. You will have access to applications like Netflix, Youtube, Disney + on which you can connect your account.

*BBQ*
There is a propane bbq and a charcoal bbq at your disposal. The propane will be provided, but you need to bring your own charcoal if you wish to use the second bbq.

* FIREPLACE / LOGS *
There is an indoor and outdoor fireplace at your disposal. We provide a few logs, and if you want more during your stay, you can buy some from us at $5 per gauge.

* CHALET RULES *
1. All reservations require a security deposit of $ 500 or more. Deposits are not collected automatically. A host uses the Resolution Center to upload damage documentation (photos or invoices) and request money from their guest to repair the damage. You do not have to do anything at this time regarding the security deposit and you will not have to do anything if there is no damage to the chalet and if you comply with the regulations below.

2. Check-in can be done at any time after 4:00 p.m. The maximum time for Check-out is 11:00 a.m. You can request for a Check-in earlier than 4:00 p.m. or a Check-out after 11:00 a.m., but we cannot guarantee this request and we will be able to give you an official response only 24 hours in advance.

3. It is strictly forbidden to smoke in the chalet. Failure to comply with this rule will result in a penalty of $ 500.

4. We do not accept pets. There's no point in asking. Even if you pay extra, we don't accept them.

5. Parties and excessive noise outside the chalet are not permitted. Failure to comply with this rule will result in a penalty of $ 500 and immediate eviction without refund.

6. If the cottage is left in a messy condition, we will charge $ 40 per additional hour per housekeeping attendant to clean up. We love when guests wash their dishes before check-out or take out the dishwasher.

7. Guests are not allowed to book our chalet directly if they do not have verified ID and a profile photo of their face on Airbnb. We do not discriminate, we just want to know who we are renting our property to.

8. Guests assume full responsibility for any accident, injury or illness occurring in the chalet. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all customers expressly assume the risk of any damage arising from their use of the premises. Customers recognize that they can personally purchase insurance to protect themselves during such events.

9. If more guests than the number initially stated in the reservation sleep at the chalet, the security deposit will be fully charged and we will request that the initial number of guests mentioned in the reservation be respected from then on. Children under 2 years old are not counted as guests. Let us know if you need a cot we may be able to help.

10. If you notice anything that presents a hazard that could cause damage to the place or to people, let us know immediately.

11. If you delay the work of housekeeping attendants, at the time of Check-out, you will be charged $ 50. This charge is applied to any late check-out between 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. Any guest who is still on site after 1:00 p.m. will be charged for an additional night. This does not apply if we have approved a late check out in advance.

12. When you make a reservation with us you agree to all of the above house rules.
