Enjoy amazing views of the Monterey Bay and downtown Pacific Grove from this brand-new luxury condominium. Located in the heart of downtown Pacific Grove, it’s easy to park your car and walk everywhere - to dining, shopping, nearby Lovers Point and the popular Recreation Trail which borders the bay.

The 2 bedroom plus den, 2.5-bath condo is located on the fourth floor NW corner of the historic Holman Building. The building, originally a famous department store founded in 1918, was frequently visited by legendary author John Steinbeck, who purchased his writing materials and household items there. The home is named “Of Mice and Men” after one of Steinbeck’s stories.

The 2,250-square-foot vacation home is within walking distance of the Monterey Bay Aquarium and Cannery Row. Also close by are the world-class golf courses and restaurants of Pebble Beach, the beautiful views of 17 Mile Drive, the natural wonders of Big Sur, and wine tasting and dining in Carmel Valley Village and Santa Cruz to the north.

A secure underground parking garage with one space located underneath the building is available to guests, with an elevator to take you to the upper level.

Living Space
You’ll see expansive bay and city views through both the front and side windows of this northwest corner unit. The spacious living room takes full advantage of this, in addition to the outdoor balcony with bistro seating, a perfect spot to enjoy watching the twinkling lights on the bay.
The living room has comfortable leather furniture and a 75-inch HDTV above a wall-set electric fireplace controlled by remote.
The open floor plan with hardwood floors blends together the living room, kitchen and dining room seamlessly.
A small desk is tucked into the large central hallway near the kitchen.

Kitchen and Dining
The kitchen features quartz counter-tops, European-style modern cabinetry, a walk-in pantry and top-of-the-line Fisher & Pykel stainless steel appliances including a five-burner gas stove and French door refrigerator. A quartz-topped kitchen island with seating for four can also be used as a food prep and serving area, and includes a small sink. The dining table is in the center of the great room. Well-equipped for extended stays!

Bedrooms and Bathrooms
Bedroom #1 - A suite featuring picture windows with beautiful views of the bay. Amenities include a California king bed, 65-inch HDTV, private balcony with bistro seating, and an indoor seating area next to the windows that is ideal for reading or meditation.
The en suite bathroom includes a walk-in closet, deep soaking tub, and dual sinks. A separate large shower has a built-in seat and two shower-heads.

Bedroom #2 - California King bed and a 55-inch HDTV, features similar spectacular views and an en suite bath with a shower.

The den has a high quality queen sleeper sofa and is located adjacent to the half-bath.

Laundry room with washer and dryer.

One small assigned parking space in the building's shared, underground garage (suitable only for small vehicles as navigating the garage is tight). Additional parking is available on the street or in a nearby municipal lot on a first come, first served basis.

**This property does NOT allow pets, under any circumstances.**

Please note that in 2024 there is an construction project in the lot to the rear of this building. Your ocean view will not be impeded.

This home is a monthly rental and we request that all nights of your stay are within the same calendar month. Some exceptions may be possible, with the approval of our team and the homeowner. Extended stays are often possible.

Great location, very comfortable, fabulous view

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: One caveat: a 103 room hotel is under construction directly to the north. We are told that the hotel will be 3 stories and not obstruct the view of the Bay from this 4th story unit, but will definitely have an impact. That said, we enjoyed watching the earth work below our balcony! Sanctuary Rentals is very responsive and responsible and the owner was very understanding of our plight when the power in the entire peninsula went out due to an extreme weather event.

The bay view is incomparable. The unit is very clean and well organized. We stored our bikes in the generous, wide entry hallway and easily transported them by elevator to the street level. Would have been nice to know that there is a fitness room off the garage earlier - we were given a key after finding out about it near the end of our stay.

Reviewer Comments: WOW, I have some of the most amazing pictures from this property, sunsets and sunrises and moon rises, and the beautiful Monterey Bay! 1/4 mile walk to the best local beach, especially for kids. And the restaurants in the area right across the street are fabulous. Cozy, First Rate, Its like staying at the Ritz Carleton here. And the people in this building are very friendly.
