Built in 2010, this elegant yet comfortable 1100-square-foot private apartment offers one roomy bedroom with beachfront balcony, a large, comfortable indoor-outdoor living area, 1.5 baths, and a full kitchen—all right on the ocean. Enjoy stunning beach views from every room (even the shower).

Check out the surf, enjoy the sunset or watch whales and dolphins frolic from the comfort of your sofa. Cook up a storm in your fully equipped kitchen (fruit/veggie, fish, & beer trucks pass by almost daily).

Our private, gated property contains lush tropical gardens full of palms, banana and flowering trees and aromatic plants. There is a shared plunge pool and a charcoal grill for barbecuing.

ABOUT TRONCONES ACTIVITIES
Troncones is famous for its year round surf, but that’s not all there is to do. Enjoy all kinds of activities on our three-mile stretch of nearly empty beach. Spend the day splashing around and/or boogie boarding on the great swimming beach right out front. Take long walks, runs, or horseback rides on our crowd-free beach. Or just relax in the hammock, read, and recharge your batteries.

There's an advanced beach break within view, and many other great surf breaks are just a short drive away, including La Saladita, aka “the wave machine” (a great spot for beginners and long boarders).

A nearby resort offers daily yoga, meditation, and chi gong classes (as well as gourmet food). Local surf schools and ecotour companies provide additional entertainment and exercise, just to make you happy. Surfboards, stand-up paddle boards, and bikes can all be rented nearby.

Epica! Amazingly Perfect

Amazingly Perfect! Amazed by everything that catches your eye and senses, the roaring ocean, the pristine beach, the design of the house and garden, everything leaves you sighing "Perfect". The whole living space is open so that as you dine and recline on comfortable couches and cook in the Kitchen, you are still on the beach but shaded and cooled under an open high ceiling, tiled roof. There is large bedroom with a huge bed that is screened and gazes through a hammock to the beach and the sea. And there are 1 and half baths with a shower with great pressure and water as hot as you want it. The owner who built and designed the house has a keen sense of simple elegance so that every detail causes a sigh. This is perfection but not of the fussy sort. It is blended into the beauty of the place. The unit is so well sited that you don't see any human structures and feel built right into the sea, sky and the sand. Franca is an excellent host that understands the meaning of privacy and respect. She is available when needed but almost invisible so that you really feel that the Casa es su casa. The little town of Troncones is friendly with good restaurants. A fish truck and a fruit and vegetable truck stop by every day so we cooked in allot and rarely left, it was that comfortable and engaging. We saw Whales spouting and fining close enough to be visible from our perch The small excursions that we did take took us to places of incredible natural beauty and daily Mexican life in small seaside hamlets. We ate three good meals, two at the Jardin de Eden, one at La Mexicana. Maybe next time we will go out more but I kinda doubt it, time just melts at the Casa Oasis. We are definitely going back, in fact, I can see no reason to go anywhere else to be at the beach.

Secluded beachfront oasis

My husband and I spent 10 nights at Casa Oasis in Feb. 2015. We chose Troncones due to the fact that it was non touristy and a quiet village, we weren't disappointed. Franca arranged for a car to meet us at the airport and take us to the grocery store in Zihuatenejo on our way to the Casa which was incredibly helpful. Casa Oasis itself is on the beach at the edge of "town". The apartment is beautiful. The outdoor couches and dining table are very comfortable. We spent countless hours lounging on the couches. The kitchen is adjacent and also open air which was perfect. There are fans on the deck that are very sufficient to stay comfortable. The kitchen had the necessary equipment to cook most of our meals. (We only ate out 5 times during our 10 night stay. We were just so happy and comfortable to hang out on the deck!) The bedroom and bed are very comfortable. The bathroom and shower are very nice. The grounds are well maintained and private. The maid provided good service. The pool is very small, as advertised, and very close to Franca's quarters, but was refreshing. We were far enough away from town, 10 - 15 minute walk, that essentially we were alone on the beach watching the sunset every night. From the apartment you can walk to Manzanillo Bay in about 30 minutes. While staying at Casa Oasis you are literally on the beach, so the sound of the surf is always there. Franca also arranged for onsite massages for us one day at the apartment. On another note, we did not have a car and never felt the need for one. Everything is within walking distance and if you want to venture out cabs are available. We would definitely recommend to family and friends to stay at Casa Oasis if they want a quiet beach getaway.

Loved our stay!

The location is great and the Casa is perfectly designed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. We love Karina who came and cooked us two excellent meals- she also cleaned the unit a couple of times. We did not need a cleaning daily, but could have if we chose it. They have a women named Natalie that lives on site who has a rescue called “Surfers for Strays”, she had the sweetest, most beautiful Siamese kitten that “needed a home”. We kept her with us for the week and the next thing we know- she’s coming home with us! They made the process very easy and they also educate the community about vaccinations, spaying, and neutering their animals, which is done for free right on the beach! Franca who owns the Casa was available via text at anytime we had a question or needed assistance. The beach is only a couple of steps from the unit and the ocean is so easy to swim in- we used their boogie boards and played in the perfect size waves. We will love to come back and stay again our next vacation!

Perfection.

Casa Oasis exceeded every expectation! We spent hours lounging in the zen inspired space mesmerized by the rolling surf just feet away. The staff were unobtrusive and incredibly helpful. Karina cooked a fantastic dinner and breakfast with fresh locally sourced ingredients. We can’t wait to return!

Outstanding

We stayed in the penthouse suite for 16 days and it was marvellous. Clean, well kept and spacious one bedroom with 2 bathrooms, good kitchen facilities and a magnificent balcony overlooking the beach. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Plenty of fans , so no AC was just fine. We have stayed in two other places in Troncones and Casa Oasis was easily the best.Highly recommend Casa Oasis for a quiet getaway. Victoria BC couple

CASA OASIS: A REAL PARADISE ON THE BEACH

We have been staying at Casa Oasis for many years. It the best place to stay in Troncones, right on the beach with a wonderful view of the sea. We appreciate the long walks on the perfect sandy beach. The apartment and surroundings are well kept and comfortable, the staff friendly. We keep coming back every year. It is the perfect getaway, so relaxing, a little paradise.

Private tropical retreat

Want a private tropical retreat on an empty 2km beach? How about great surf? Beach side restaurants within walking distance? That's Casa Oasis. It's like camping on the beach except it is an open air flat on the second floor of a house - the 'penthouse' - so all the usual amenities. Casa Oasis is located in Troncones which is a real Mexican village, not a tourist creation. We'll be back.

Fantastic, better than we imagined.

Impossible to say enough about how great this place is. The closeness of the ocean, the waves at night, the impeccable design and comfort, the sweetness of the people who take care of it, the beautiful lighting, the space and airiness...it's double, triple what we had hoped for. The owner is wonderful to deal with. Any information you could need is posted around the place, never a question of what to do, where to go, how to get there, whom to call. Rave recommendation.

My wife and I just spent seven of the best days possible at Casa Oasis. We had planned this trip for several months to celebrate our anniversary. The picture on the website depicting the couch and table with chairs overlooking the ocean, providing an incredible view was the deciding factor. We wanted somewhere to unplug and just relax. We stayed in the upper unit, but the other two look wonderful as well. Franca, the owner, continued to answer our many questions re. the house and the town of Troncones. She set us with Ivan, who was so friendly and helpful, to pick us up at the airport. He stopped at the Commercial so we could stock up on groceries and beverages. The staff was equally friendly and helpful. Matilide, Juan and Luiz were accommodating the entire week. We rented bikes for a full week from Mike at the surf shop. The bikes were very helpful in getting around the small area of town. It was the perfect vacation. The house was set-up to enjoy every facet of a get away. I brought a speaker to play music, and I never turned it on. The sound of the thundering waves was all we needed for our background. Thank You Franca for a beautiful house and surrounding to celebrate a memorable anniversary. We will be back.

Beautiful private casa in Troncones

The house was beautiful and clean with amazing view of the ocean. My husband and I stayed there by ourselves but this would be a great fit for a family as well. Also there is the "tree house" behind the main house that would be perfect for a second family or friends. Franca the owner was very helpful throughout our stay. She lives in the lower portion of the main house which has a separate entrance of course. She was right there if we needed anything and also helped us call taxis for transportation. Highly recommended place to stay.

Incredible Girls Week At Casa Oasis

We are so grateful we found Casa Oasis. The whole property is so beautifully designed and well maintained. We had 3 girls in the main apartment and 3 in the tree house. There was plenty of space, and the accommodations are bright, clean, and airy. The view and sound of crashing waves every day was mesmerizing. I cannot say enough about Franca and her staff. Franca is such a lovely person! She was so helpful and full of suggestions that enhanced to our fabulous girls getaway. Thank you Franca for sharing your beautiful home with us! About Troncones: If you are willing to make a drive to escape the crowds, you will be rewarded when you reach this magical place.. Looking to relax in a beautiful location? This is it!

It is amazing how quickly (sadly) a week can go by when you are reveling in relaxation, beauty, great food and friendly atmosphere. It was the perfect place to destress. The Casa itself is very nicely decorated, very comfortable and has a gorgeous view of the beach and ocean. We have never stayed so close to a beach, now we are spoiled. We loved the open air living area (dining table, couch, hammock, kitchen) with a direct view of the ocean. Very calming. Yet, you can be active too - lots of walks on the beach, swimming (water temperature is perfect), running on the beach, walking into town for dinner. It was a perfect balance. Everything about this vacation was "easy" - the communication before we went, arrangements for transportation from the airport, getting drinks and groceries. Franca has a gift of setting things up for her visitors to de-stress, relax and enjoy the local surroundings. We definitely plan to go back.

best week at the beach, ever...

Casa Oasis is a great place to relax and enjoy a beautiful, uncrowded and unspoiled beach. My wife and I were looking for a laid-back place to simply relax and enjoy ourselves for a week and that is exactly what we found at Casa Oasis. Franca and her staff made us feel right at home. Guests have the second floor to themselves with an open-air kitchen and dining/sitting area that overlook the casa's courtyard, plunge pool and beach. The master suite features a very comfortable queen-sized bed and large bathroom with a great shower. Ceiling fans and the ocean breeze provide cooling. We flew into Zihuantanejo and were met by a car and driver which Franca was kind enough to arrange. We made a brief stop at La Comer (Comercial Mexicana- a supermarket that has everything) to get groceries and beer. Although there are several excellent restaurants in Troncones which we enjoyed most evenings, it is a good idea to have some snacks on hand and beverages in the refrigerator. Downtown Troncones is about a twenty minute walk from Casa Oasis but taxis are readily available. Despite our lack of Spanish language skills everyone was very friendly and helpful and while it would be useful to know at least some Spanish it is not necessary. Casa Oasis is a great place to vacation and we are looking forward to another visit next year.

Look no further for the perfect place to stay in Troncones!

My husband and I traveled to Troncones for the first time this past November. We wanted a place to really relax while there, and we TOTALLY lucked into Casa Oasis. It is a true gem, one of those special places you find when traveling and mark on your "definitely will return here" list. Franca has created a true oasis, and I felt like I was staying at a home away from home while there! Casa Oasis is located on one of the most beautiful stretches of beach in the Troncones area. You look out your bedroom to watch waves and sunsets. It is very quiet, so I slept like a baby. The open air living and kitchen area are perfect, and the decor is very tasteful. We used the fully stocked kitchen and local fish man to cook most of our meals, which gave us the chance to really relax and take it slow. Franca, Alfredo, and Karina were incredibly kind, generous, and lovely people. I'd HIGHLY recommend staying here - you will not want to stay anywhere else after doing so! We are returning as soon as we can.

Awesome stay at Casa Oasis!

We loved our stay at Casa Oasis - it was everything we were hoping for! Beautiful open air living room, amazing views of the ocean - it was the perfect, peaceful getaway. Our favorite things - waking up with a view of the ocean, chilling out in the balcony area and hammock, walking out to the ocean, relaxing afternoons in the backyard/zen garden. Weeks later, we’re still luxuriating in the remembrance of a place that fulfilled every promise. I am sooooooooooooo grateful we stayed at Casa Oasis!!! :)

Franca describes Casa Oasis accurately and well. It is delightful in its beauty, simplicity, comfort, and potential. Franca is young, hip and capable of supporting you to make the most of your time there. The animals are sweet and only add to the sense of feeling at ease. Most of all, the placement of the Casa is impeccable. It is the quieter end of a quiet beach, near a rocky outcropping for exploring, with only a few like-minded beach walkers for miles. The beach is wide; all the other casa's unobtrusive, allowing a gorgeous view; the water is warm, and shallow, allowing endless play. Ah, moving from warm air to warm water-delicious! Troncones feels suspended in time in it's lack of development, but is at ease with tourists, as there is a long and healthy relationship between locals and ex-pats. Zihuatanejo also remains undeveloped, on a beautiful bay 30 min away, offering a classic market, and many cultural opportunities. We went snorkeling and on an ecotour with Blue Morpho, both fantastic experiences. All in all Casa Oasis offers a truly flawless setting for a rich, quiet, or playful vacation, however you want it, promising to leave you with memories you will treasure the rest of your life. We love travelling, books, gardening, music, animals, surfing, and of course the beach. This beach. This house is a long-time dream come true. We built it with love and an eye towards comfort. Renting the upstairs when family aren't visiting helps us keep the dream going.

ALLERGY ALERT: There are friendly cats (and iguanas and geckos and frogs) on the premises, but not generally upstairs. The bedroom closes completely to keep any critters out. We look forward to meeting you and hosting your Troncones stay.

We built Casa Oasis because we fell in love with Troncones. Yes, it sounds a bit corny, but wait til you see the place and meet the people. You'll understand what we mean.

What makes this property unique

Location, location, location. We found the perfect balance on this spot. At the quiet end of Troncones' residential sandy beach, Casa Oasis offers a ton of privacy and the best sandy swimming beach*, perfect for boogie boarding (and surfing, if you're good — the break is too shallow for beginners.) And yet, since we're only about a mile from the village, we're far closer to shops and restaurants than the many rentals further North.

* Occasionally (usually in deep summer), the waves get huge and can take the sand away, uncovering rocks on the ocean's edge in places.
