A vacation at Round-To-It feels more like life at the top of the world. Yes, it is round. Yes, it is two floors of super comfortable accommodations. Yes, the views are unlimited, and spectacular! Outside enjoy decks that provide wonderful photo and dining opportunities. Star gazing will be absolutely amazing from the outdoor hot tub! The open floor plan on the main level makes it easy for cooking. dining, TV watching, fireplace warming, card playing and more, to be a group activity. This is the perfect spot to watch the sun shine, the leaves change, the snow fall and the clouds float by. It is a short walk to the Dolly Sods Trail and a short drive to Timberline Mountain, Canaan Resort, Blackwater Falls and more! Hurry up and get Round-To-It! All or 4-wheel drive vehicles with good clearance and great tires are required for winter access only.

We loved this house! Everything was well thought out. The kitchen had what we needed to bake and make a nice Christmas dinner. We loved how much room the house had. The hot tub was very clean and relaxing.

Our rental this time was for a month and what a great month it was. The view from this house with a wall of windows in the living room is hard to beat. We spent most of our month enjoying the view, setting in the hot tub or on cold nights getting warm by the fireplace. Best of Canaan is a great company to rent from, every one was very friendly and helpful.

Weekend ski getaway

Was very pleased with our stay at round to it. The property was high on the mountain with quite the view. The home had plenty of space for our group, 2 families of 3 each. (Wife husband and teenage son) complaints would be minimal and trivial such as light bulbs out, however bulbs were supplied. Would certainly recommend to others.

Fun family weekend

We had a nice stay. Beautiful view. Plenty of room. Quick drive to Timberline. Easy access to other local facilities. Nearly everything you’d need to “feel at home” was there. Beds were very comfortable. Kitchen was well appointed with cookware/serveware aplenty (minus needing foil and ziplocs-which we brought). Little homey essentials available in cabinets was nice to find. Plan meals ahead and take groceries with you as more involved shopping isn’t all that close. Overall we highly recommend Round-to-It!

Had a great time, amazing views, comfy beds, more clocks than one can count, only one working....but, that was the point. Sweet hot tub, grill, kitchen, and comfy living room. Some moisture issues, but that's to be expected. We will return.

Very comfy for 10! Almost all the couches are beds and lots of linens/blankets for them. We loved our hikes right from the house into Dolly Sods. We managed with all-wheel drive, but a snowy morn made it a little dicey. Proceed with caution. Hot tub has way too many chems, but we enjoyed, despite stinging eyes and throats

The house is a little older and does need some cosmetic interior repairs, but that did not take away anything from our stay here. The kitchen had everything we needed including a Keurig coffee maker. Above everything else, the views from the decks at Round_To-It were spectacular. I can only image what fall would look like from there. This was definitely a five star stay.

Beds comfortable, kitchen extremely well appointed, and a great deck with a gas grill and a hot tub (perfect for apre-hikes!). The gas fireplace was wonderful - very realistic looking, and it automatically turns on and off to keep the room at the temp you choose. Loop driveway a bit steep to get out of, so recommend 4 wheel drive in the winter (or you can back out of the drive, which is less steep). Furniture was comfy upstairs and down, and the dining table is huge! Plenty of space to all sit down to eat AND have a 3’x4’ puzzle going.

About Time is RIGHT!

The place was spacious yet cozy. We explored the area and it was so nice to find some easy trails just a few feet away. We didn’t try the hot tub so can’t say anything about that. There were just 4 of us and had plenty of room. All the amenities worked well. We appreciated how comfy the couches, chairs and beds were. (Other places we stayed some times have furniture that is worn). We will certainly return! Oh, definitely heed the warning about needing all wheel or 4 wheel drive if you plan to visit during the winter w snow. This place is literally at the top of the mountain.

Let me start with what we really liked: The location in Old Timberline is fantastic (but with snow and ice the driveway is not entirely for the faint of heart -- comes with being up the mountain). The house was clean, much bigger than it seemed from the outside, a fun layout and everything you would need to cook and for your stay! The heat worked great and the on-demand hot water heater meant everyone had hot showers! Two minor nitpicks: We could not for the life of us get the gas fireplace to work but one time - and the inability to just turn it on regardless of temperature setting was a real drag. Also -- While not technically included -- having some salt and a bin of ashes and sand would have gone a long way to help us settle in and feel well cared for.

It was a well maintained and well stocked house with great views. Location is very good. A very typical mountain location with a steep driveway. The house was very well stocked with very detailed instructions for everything in the house. The home was very clean from inside. It was also stocked with anything and everything that you may need on the vacation.
