This charming, one-bedroom, one bath ground level apartment is tucked away on Historic Jones Street. You’ll wake up each morning to walk the cobblestones of what Southern Living Magazine dubbed America’s prettiest street.

You’ll find plenty of comfortable seating in the den, including a small dining table and chairs. Enjoy a little “me time” curled up on the couch with a one of the provided books. The adjoining living room has more seating and a large flat screen TV. A large island countertop that doubles as a breakfast bar, opens and connects the living room into the galley style kitchen. When it’s time to get some shut-eye, get cozy in the comfortable Queen sized bed. The bedroom has plenty of storage space for longer stays, so unpack and relax on your private, enclosed porch. A second living room includes a Queen sleeper sofa, and can be closed to allow for 2 private sleeping rooms each separate from the Living Room.

Start your day of exploration at Clary’s Cafe, the setting for several breakfast scenes in Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil. You’ll be a short walk from the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist, which underwent a major restoration to preserve their beautiful stained glass windows and architectural integrity. A few blocks away at the corner of Bull Street and Liberty, you’ll find local shops featuring everything from handmade handbags and leather goods at Satchel, to Celtic crosses at Saints & Shamrocks.

The apartment was spacious, accommodating 4 easily. It has a unique bathroom layout that is helpful for sharing. The location is walkable and the area is beautiful. It was exactly what we wanted for our Savannah experience.

Lovely stay

Enjoyed a wonderful family stay in Savannah while visiting our daughter at SCAD for Easter. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home and garden. Wish we had warmer weather! Plan to book again with you for sure! The home was clean, centrally located and had everything we needed for stay.

Great location!!

Cannot beat the location!! Quiet street around a lot of the great shops and squares. Parking was manageable and the home was as advertised. Rental company was great to deal with as well! Only complaint is the bed in the garden apartment could stand to be refreshed- noisy saggy in middle not comfortable

Nice location + Good Home Base

The location of this rental is fantastic, close to everything on a gorgeous street. It provided us quite a cozy home base! However, do note it’s quite bare bones with only the basics provided, no hotel style extras here. Lucky Savannah was very responsive when we needed them, which was lovely. We just wished there was a bit more amenities that made it feel more like a home. We did adore the back patio and hanging out under the stars!

Wonderful Girls Trip Weekend

The property was exactly as listed but one thing that I would have liked to know is that it is below the Cohen House, so you do get a basement feel. Although the unit is below the main house it would have been nice to have curtains on the windows...looking out at bare brick at night was kinda creepy. Overall we were very satisfied with our stay..we were in walking distance of everything and that was our desire. I would definitely rent from you all again!

The cobblestone streets are quaint and lovely. The residential neighborhood is quiet and located in the middle of the historic district. The Cohen House Garden Apartment is spacious and quiet. There is plenty of room for people to lounge and I loved having a full kitchen. (One tip for the owner: please add a couple of oven mitts for removing hot things from the oven. A few more cooking utensils would also be welcomed.) The AC is a little tricky in the bedroom but with the ceiling fan, it stayed cool. The parking is street parking. You must pay to park between 8AM-5PM daily. My stay overall was good and I appreciated being able to walk everywhere.

The manager responded quickly to our issues with internet. It would be nice to have a radio to be able to listen to some music and not just the TV. It was a little dark because many of the light bulbs were out so this needs to be addressed. I didn't want to bother management about this. It would be nice to have some maps and some local menus and something to help people find their way around. Maybe some stationary of some sort to be able to write on something to take notes when making reservations or planning your day etc..We did enjoy the Crystal Beer Parlor right around the corner for a local brew and some food. Great little neighborhood restaurant. Savannah Coffee Roasters is also a great place to go and it's just down the street on W. Liberty.

Spacious with great location

Pros: Very spacious ground floor unit with two living room areas, good size kitchen and bedroom and with indoor and outdoor patio. Beautiful historic building with location on picturesque and very quiet residential street in conveniently located historic area. Check in very easy with lockbox on property. Mattress was comfortable. We had issue with bed frame- clunked when we laid down and dipped. Candice at Lucky savannah was very responsive and got maintenance there same day and they fixed the problem. She also had some items we were expecting brought to us. Kudos on your customer service Candice. Cons: this garden apartment has been remodeled but some of the choices made were definitely on the cheap side. Particularly painting the old tub and tile as opposed to changing those out and having a very poor paint job on these with paint splatter all over the bathroom floors. Could also have opted for some nicer furniture. Indoor patio was very musty smelling. Outdoor patio was nice but as others have noted the furniture was dirty and metal and we could not find cushions. We did not end up using patio but it had a grill and could be a nice space if furniture had some cushions

There was a running dehumidifier and the longer you stayed inside the less noticeable the smell became, though upon every entry the smell was like a smack to the face.

My only issue is that is not a queen bed - I measured it and compared with my queen bed at home. May want to fix that one the website.

Long Weekend Stay

The location was awesome and it was just what we needed.We could have utilized the beautiful kitchen more - this would be a good place to stay for a family that wanted to cook. However, good to note that there are no grocery stores in the area. Everything was pretty clean.My only complaint (and this might be a huge complaint for some) was that the wifi didn't work. We called Lucky Savannah to complain about this and they told us they'd send someone, which they never did. If you need to work or need wifi - I'd recommend not staying here. I think the router was located in the main house above, so if I were the owner of this property I would install a router in the Garden Apartment as well. If I were looking to book and needed wifi - I wouldn't book unless this place had it's own router.Overall, we were very satisfied and would recommend (to someone that didn't rely on wifi).

Spacious and charming

Some things we like: the spaciousness, the layout of the kitchen, the comfortable bed and the nice patio and location, plenty of towels and extra blankets. Some things need improvement: bathroom floor seemed dirty and bathroom needs updating, kitchen needs hot pads and a toaster, there's no DVD player, lanai needs cleaning. Overall we like the place though.

Cohen House Garden Apt.

Unfortunately, when we arrived a Production Company was filming on the block where we were staying, therefore we could not park anywhere near then rental. It was an inconvenience, and not something rental company could control, but it would have been nice to have a heads-up. The rental was clean, but there were no bath towels, one hand towel and no toiletries. A call to housekeeping resolved the issue, but because we had left the unit to explore the city we were told we had to return & put the key back in the lockbox for housekeeping to bring our supplies. Once we were able to get back to the unit, we decided it was too late to venture back out. Forty-five minutes went by and we made a second call to customer service for our linen request. Housekeeping arrived in approx. 15 min.Other than the first evening issues, the stay was acceptable. The unit was pretty much as expected. The bed was comfortable & there was plenty of space. The tub/shower could use an upgrade.We enjoyed the Crystal Beer Parlor just around the corner. It was also nice to have the convenience of the DOT bus stops for free transportation. Savannah's Squares are beautiful and full of history.We enjoyed our stay.

Loved Savannah

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The rental was clean with everything we needed except a toaster. Not a problem as we just used a skellet. Loved the location, could wald or take DOT everywhere we wanted to go. We had one problem and it was taken care of immediately. No head in apt when we arrived, 56 degrees inside, 60 outside. It took us 24 hrs to have sufficient warmth to be comfortable. Would use Lucky Savannah again.
