This property is a very beautiful home, located in a very quiet neighborhood, great landscaping and view of the golf course. The kitchen is well stocked and everything was mostly clean. Bathroom with access to the outside was great and pool was clean and wonderful.
Upon walking into the property, we tried to close the laundry closet door as it sticks out in the hallway, and it came down off the top track almost hitting my 3 year old. A cord to one of the shades was broken and laying on the ground - trip and choking hazard for kids. One of the wicker rockers was staged as usable. Upon sitting on said rocker, my 3 year old fell through the back of it landing on his head. The back pillow was covering the fact that the entire back was broken. Master bathroom sinks had toothpaste spray all over the faucets from previous guest. I sent an email to make the management company aware of broken things so we weren’t held responsible. They sent their maintenance person out and he was beyond kind and great to talk to but wasn’t able to fix much of it while we were there. The final issue was in a high traffic area, a piece of the flooring broke off into my foot. Day 3 and my entire trip was ruined. No pool, beach or even sun due to the antibiotics I was put on. Traveled across the country with 4 kids, one being an infant, for a ruined trip. I called to inform the management company, and while kind, did not even give so much as an “I’m sorry that happened”. Maintenance man came out but again - the fix was something he was not able to do with occupants there as an epoxy would need time to cure. Upon closer look at the floors, there are many spots that pose a possible risk to happening to someone else. I called the office regarding a refund and was told it’d be up to the owners and I’d get a call back. Called again after returning home because there was never a follow up call. This time they said the manager had been out for 10 days with Covid. A week later and still no word from them. I can’t help but think if I had just chosen a different property, I wouldn’t still be in pain 3 weeks later and still following up with doctors to get the flooring out of my foot.
