This is our third year staying at the cabin. Our WOW (Women Only Weekend) was a great time! Roxanne (the cleaning person) does an excellent job having the cabin clean and tidy for our arrival. We love the secluded location and providing firewood is an added ammenity. Thanks for your hospitality.... we will be returning.

Lovely cabin for a family gathering

The cabin is in a lovely somewhat secluded area of Great Cacapon. We came to the area for our sons wedding and it was the perfect place for the out of town family to all get to spend some quality time together.

Meticulously appointed getaway cabin!

The cabin is as beautiful and well-furnished as the pictures. The owners were responsive, very friendly and helpful. The property is nicely tucked away for peaceful privacy. We will be back!

Great property, great host, great experience

Highly recommend staying here. Property is clean, well stocked (basically a home away from home in the true sense), as advertised and hosts were prompt, friendly & provide great info on the property in advance. Internet speed is fast too. Perfect stay for family, romantic couples. Decently close walk to the River access. We’ll be back for sure!

Easily accessible well furnished river cabin

This property is easily 5 stars! Wonderful communication with property managers, stocked with everything you could need and more, and an easy picturesque drive to the town of Berkeley Springs for shops, restaurants, and exploring. Also near lots of outdoor exploration opportunities as well. Thanks and we hope to return someday!

Spring Escape

We had a lovely Spring weekend in West Virginia. The home was comfortable and had all the things we needed for a relaxing weekend. The scenery was beautiful and there were great outdoor adventures nearby. This is a perfect location for an easy east coast getaway.

2nd stay for WOW (Women Only Weekend)

We'reeeeee back (this is our second booking at the cabin we stayed here last Fall). Ladies trip for three nights. Weather was perfect and cabin was even more perfect. Needless to say..... we will be booking for a third time next Fall. The ladies stated " no need to look for anything else this place is perfect"!!! The cabin is full stocked - bedding, towels, pots/pans, dishes, appliances, and the fact that we do not need to haul firewood for the weekend is a ++++++++++. Ryan, the host, is very easy to work with and kuddos to Roxanne, the cleaning lady, who had the cabin spotless when we arrived!

Cozy cabin with all the amenities

This cabin was the perfect place for us to celebrate our friend’s 40th birthday girls weekend. The cabin is nestled back in the woods with plenty of privacy. The owners have thought of it all, from the kitchen products, mini fridge for extra drink space, plenty of outlets for crock pots, etc. Although we didn’t get to use the fire pit, it was in a great location. The fire pit was surrounded by high quality chairs, lights and plenty of firewood available for use. The owners are very, very detailed and responsive. We will definitely stay again!

In the woods

Very nice house. Loved being in the woods. Spent a lot of time in the screen room. The river wasn’t very deep in front of the house so not great for fishing but the guys were able to find a place down the river to fish. Property Manager was very responsive to questions. Highly recommend.

Ladies Weekend

6 of us ladies from Pennsylvania stayed a long weekend (Thursday - Sunday). Very, very clean. WELL stocked kitchen. Nice outside firepit and the firewood was included. Great dining room table to play board games and enjoy our meals and conversation. Secluded so when we sang Karokee around the firepit no one heard us... LOL!!! Will be booking again.

All most heaven...part II

We are repeat renters from last year. Again, we were not disappointed. House is well kept..clean and comfortable. Our teenagers had great fun fishing( catch and release). We had an added bonus of watching a family of beavers construct an " addition" to their lodge. Our host Ryan was very gracious to answer our questions about the TV system. Lovely cabin in beautiful wooded area

We just enjoyed an amazing weekend at this property and were beyond impressed and pleased with the cabin and grounds. The owners were very responsive to questions and requests we had and even helped get us redirected to the correct cabin unit (we had gotten a little lost with our GPS). The cabin itself is situated on a private gated lot and while there are neighbors, there is enough space and woods to leave you still feeling secluded. The cabin itself is beautifully appointed, clean and nicely decorated. We loved the deck, fireplace, loft and outdoor firepit. As well, the owners have it completely stocked with all one might need for an enjoyable stay: complete kitchen setup with cookware, cutlery/utensils, spices, storage containers/plastic bags for leftovers, and even some essentials (coffee/tea, coffee pot and press, staple snacks). The bathrooms were also fully stocked with toiletries and linens. There was wifi, netflix, video game and while we didn't use the latter, it was great having all of the conveniences of home while secluded in beautiful nature. We couldn't have asked for a better cabin and experience. We are so grateful for the effort and thought the owners have clearly put into ensuring the comfort of guests! Thank you!

Shhh! Don’t ruin the quiet.

Wow! This place is pictured in the dictionary under “quiet and peaceful “. If you and your family are looking for a place to unplug, connect with each other, and decompress, this is it. The cabin is so comfortable. The furniture and beds are wonderful. The kitchen is very well equipped. We didn’t cook but the cabinets are stocked with everything you need. The screen porch is a wonderful place to spend time reading, listening to the rain, and playing games. Everything was so clean! So clean!! Outside, the fire pit was awesome! It was very well stocked, and the chairs were wonderful. We walked down to the river and it would be great for young kids to play in. It’s a bit of a walk but easy to do. And there’s a Frisbee golf area on the way. The greatest amenity is the one you can’t see or hear. It’s the QUIET. No road noise, no noisy neighbors, no airplanes. Just the birds and the leaves rustling. You don’t realize how quiet the quiet is until you hear “quiet”! So peaceful. Two things to be aware of…there is no cell service. There is a great Wi-Fi signal from the house but no calls or texts. There is a house phone I think…at least that’s what Google says it is when I took a picture of it. Also, a higher ground clearance vehicle would be best. The last bit of the driveway is gravel and a bit rough. Our Subaru did fine. The last few turns to get there would be best done in the daylight. Owner sent awesome directions!

Fall Break 2022

We found this cabin to be clean, well appointed, and well maintained. The location allowed us to take day trips to Harper’s Ferry and Gettysburg. We saw plenty of deer right from the deck and enjoyed campfires several nights. This cabin is a fantastic place for a quiet family get away!

Heaven in the Woods

A lovely, quiet setting and beautiful, comfy, well-stocked house. Everything we needed for a happy week away- including a land-line and good internet connection. Slightly challenging to drive to, but not dangerous, and well off the beaten track (a good thing). Hosts were really helpful and nice to deal with.
