Lovely weekend getaway

My family and I had a lovely time - it was a cold weekend so the hot tub was wonderful and the views still beautiful. The place was also exceptionally clean.

My husband and I booked River Time cabin mainly for a fishing experience. The Cacapon River did not disappoint! The fish were biting — small mouth bass, rock bass and sunnies galore! When we weren’t fishing, we were enjoying meals at several great restaurants both in Berkeley Springs and Hancock, MD, which is just a short drive up the road — a great opportunity to get good old Maryland steamed crabs! Evenings were spent relaxing at the cabin, which was everything we’d hoped — clean, well-stocked, super Internet service. The hosts were friendly and responsive. We couldn’t be more satisfied with our time at River Time!

Healing Getaway

This was the calm, quiet getaway I was hoping for! Pictures don't do the place justice! The river and mountain view is hard to beat. Will definitely stay again!

Relaxin' on the River

Came in October for a wedding in Berkeley Springs and thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Gorgeous home with some very novel touches. Loved the location on the river- Caught quite a few fish. Can't say enough nice things about the place!

Beautiful property right in the river

This is the perfect getaway and the house is gorgeous and clean. We sat out on the screened in porch or the hot tub in the evenings just to listen to the river... So relaxing. We will definitely be back in the future.

So peaceful

I took my mother, niece and my daughter to celebrate my daughter's 18th birthday. The house was absolutely amazing. The view of the river surprised all of us by how close it was. We even saw a mink!! Definitely staying here again as we frequent the Berkeley springs area.

Everything is good but hot tub is not clean and theirs is some bugs problem

It was really nice experience because the view was so good and their is a lot of peace and relaxation so definitely I will be come back soon but pls clean hot tub and remove bugs If someone checked in

Peaceful Reset

My wife Rhonda and I decided to spend our anniversary at River Time Cabin. We’ve been there before and we loved it. Sitting in the hot tub and listening to the river babbling is so relaxing. The master bedroom upstairs is so comfortable. We enjoy hiking in the park and walking around in town. We will definitely come back again. Great way to celebrate us and start off the new year!

Beautiful location

The location is ideal for relaxing. The river, hot tub, grill and firepit were great! The king bed in the main bedroom has a large lump on one side and you sink in the middle- maybe just an issue with the frame. One suggestion would be to have some more kitchen amenities- non-stick spray, foil, plastic wrap so that renters don't have to buy them. New appliances that worked great. Overall a pleasant stay, quiet neighborhood. The sunroom was fantastic, we spent a ton of time in there. I would love to spend more time at this rental!

Cabin Retreat

We had an excellent experience renting this cabin. The house was clean and cozy and full of thoughtful touches—they left the porch light on for us which was so helpful since we arrived at night and the management company called me the day before to make sure I had my check-in instructions and knew about the events in town that weekend. The bed was very comfortable and there were plenty of linens. You truly can’t beat the view and peace of drinking your coffee listening to the creek. Our only feedback was that there was a bit of an issue with the shower in the master bathroom (the diverter wasn’t working so there was very little water pressure for a shower), but we just used the other shower. Overall an excellent cabin for a couple or two or a small family—worth noting that the third bed is in an open loft that connects the two bedrooms.

Better than listing!

I was so pleasantly surprised with the stay. We like REMOTE and I was concerned this was not going to be quiet enough. I was wrong. The location was great and we took advantage of the ability to throw our tubes in the river and float about 2 hours to the end of the lane, walk back 15 minutes and take the car to pick up our tubes. The house was spacious and clean. One item to consider is the steps. Lots of steps. This is not a problem for able bodied folks but I brought my aging father who has a hard time walking. We knew there would be steps and decided to take the chance. He managed but I still worried about him walking at all hours of the night. I would absolutely return (but maybe without dad).

Watch River from hot tub

I came here with my husband in early spring, and we had a wonderfully relaxing time. I enjoyed sitting in the hot tub and watching the river. We want to come back some other time with our kids.

Family Getaway

We really enjoyed our time in this quiet spot on the river. Very close to the little town and a convenience store for essentials. Fishing right off the back. Campfire was great. Very comfortable beds. We'll be back! Highly recommend it.

Escape

This place is very unique. It's very interesting in its layout as it is obvious that it's had a number of additions but they have been done very well and the decor is great. If you want a peaceful, quiet getaway, this is a great option. If you plan to join a bunch of friends and make some noise (I'm not judging, we do plenty of that) this is probably not the place for you. They go through great trouble to emphasize the need for quiet. The neighbors will not tolerate noise. Otherwise, a beautiful, roomy and peaceful getaway right on the river. Walk out the back door, down the steps right into the river. Or sit in the hot tub that overlooks the river as the rest of your party goes tubing.

Great weekend!

The cabin was very nice, had almost everything you need. No dishwasher, despite book saying they had one. I was looking forward to experiencing the wood burning stove that was in the living room, but it was not working. There was also an awful smell every time you turned on sink, faucet and shower. Thought it would go away after running for a while, but it did not. Toilets worked fine, no smell. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

Relaxing by the river

We had a great experience at River Time. Quiet area, saw lots of wildlife. Gave us the relaxing family time we were looking for. Lots of fishing and swimming. The cabin was the perfect size for us. The pictures are accurate to what was there inside and out. Easy access to the river. We will be back.
