Welcome to Snowy Owl! Located at the lit walking path to Big White Village this rare FIVE bedroom, SKI IN/SKI OUT chalet boasts TWO king master bedrooms and some of the most incredible, unobstructed views of the Monashee Mountains.

Ski right to the front door for some Apres Ski and relaxation in the large, private SAUNA while watching the sunset!

Everything is set up for your family’s (or multi-family’s!) ski vacation. For the cooking enthusiast the kitchen is fully stocked with high-end ware, brand-new appliances, and quartz countertops. Our chalet can easily accommodate large groups and families with our large dining table, eat-in breakfast bar and sleeping arrangements for 11.

Rest comfortably after a day on the hill in all new beds and linens!

Travelling with small children can be challenging! We are happy to provide two high-chairs, sled, TWO playpens + mattresses and kid’s cups, plates, cutlery etc.

Put your skis on at the front door and connect to Serwa's run (green) to enjoy some Okanagan champagne powder! A short ten-minute walk down the lit walking path (located near the end of our driveway) takes you to the village center. Additionally, the complimentary Mountain Shuttle runs 7 days a week and has a stop at the top of our street.

Enjoy Saturday night fireworks, free outdoor skating (Canada's highest outdoor rink), free mountain tours, one of the largest and most epic snow tube parks around and all else the mountain has to offer to make your trip unforgettable. We are happy to help you plan your trip!

Wine and grocery deliveries are available on the mountain for pre or post arrival-all you need to do is pack your gear and suitcase! Alternatively, there is a Save On Foods on the way to the mountain in north Kelowna for Click and Collect Grocery Shopping if you are driving through.

Wine tours now service Big White year-round! We are happy to connect you with these companies to experience the Okanagan’s world-renowned wines.

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
We kindly ask guests to start a load of towels before departing with bleach. This will help to ensure your cleaning bill will not go over for time and cleaners may immediately start linens.
Please take all garbage & recycling. The cleaning company is not able to provide garbage service. The *free, drive-thru* transfer station is 2 min. down BigWhite Rd. leaving the resort.
Don't forget to sign out of your streaming services if you have used the Amazon Firestick & Roku TV!
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Having fun is great and we hope everyone enjoys our chalet to the fullest, however there are NO house parties allowed. Bylaw Quiet Times 11pm-7am.
Only one parking spot allowed per unit as per our Strata regulations. Free overflow parking located in Lower Snow Pines.
Check in 10 am. Check out 4pm. We kindly ask that guests be prompt with these times so cleaners have enough time for full clean and sanitation between

Great Mountain Getaway

Lovely Christmas stay

We had 4 families all with toddlers, and the house was perfect. Large enough living area for us all (obviously a bit hectic..!) and a 20 minute walk to the town. Ski in / out with a short 25 meter walk to the slopes. Very well provisioned and Stephanie was extremely easy to communicate with. We would love to stay again!

Loved it!

I had a great stay in this VRBO. It was even better than the pictures and the bed was COMFY! She had almost everything there you would need and I sent her some extra recommendations for those weirdos like me who are sensitive to bright lights and chemicals and desire a tea kettle. But it was sparkling clean, newly redone and it was pretty quiet. Highly recommend. Just not when I'm coming back ;-)

Clean, Modern, Responsive host

This lodging served as the perfect location for my proposal to my partner. Stephanie was very prompt with all communication regarding anything I needed. Although I give it 5 stars overall, the location is at the end of a very narrow dead-end alley making it hard or impossible for large vehicles to turn around. The walking distance to the village may not be for everyone either. Still a very solid option for staying at Big White!

Devine chalet

Wow what a perfect chalet for our family. We had a wonderful time at Snowy Owl. Very clean, warm and comfortable. The kitchen has everything you would ever need, well stocked kitchen with great appliances. Great ski locker and two toboggans for the little kids. The decor is stunning and the owners have thought of everything to make your stay comfortable and memorable. My grandkids loved the games and books. Thank you also to Stephanie, she was amazing at helping us out on our travels and great instructions. It was all appreciated. Stephanie always answered our questions so promptly and it was easy communicating with her. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Really nice family house

This home is really well stocked for a family to gather at. Five bedrooms with nice beddings and blinds. The towels were fresh and no stains. The kitchen had lots of dishes, cookware and appliances to make whatever you need. Ski locker had ample space for equipment and they provided a sled to take the toddlers out. The owners thought of all the details of what a family needed to make great memories on their vacation

I enjoy spending time with my husband and two young sons on our hobby farm, up the mountain skiing/biking or out on the ocean fishing rods in hand! Our favourite things to do on the mountain when we are not knee deep in Okanagan powder, are to enjoy the outdoor skating, tube park and Saturday fireworks!

Why they chose this property

I grew up learning to ski at Sun Peaks as a child. As an adult we began doing family Christmases up at Big White and I was a quick convert! We have been Big White lovers for many years since, returning every year. We are excited to share this space with guests so they can fall in love with the mountain, just as we did.
