The biggest downside to staying here is unfortunately out of the control of the host, but it did negatively impact our stay, which is the neighborhood noise. The bar on the corner was consistently loud all weekend, with the worst offender being a food truck blaring music from midnight to 4am. And it's a high traffic area, and so you could hear passing car music, which was also prominent, unfortunately.The property was clean enough. A set of eyelashes left on a blanket in a closet that the cleaning crew missed, a few hairs in the shower, but no big deal. The property was a little raggedy, with a few doorknob holes in the wall, and some broken slats in the window blinds. But not unclean.The location is easy to get to the French Quarter, so our walks into town were smooth, but I wouldn't book here if you're staying alone. As soon as you leave the core of the French Quarter (past Esplanade), it got a bit wary to walk by yourself.The owners were very communicative! I feel bad leaving a middling review, because much isn't in the owner's control, but I wouldn't recommend the space.

Cute location for Home Base.

Everything was neat and tidy and within walking distance to the French Quarter. Apart from the last night where there were people revving muscle cars in a nearby street, everything was wonderful! Would definitely stay there again!

This place was well supplied really clean did not see one spec of dust. Early instructions on how to get in were great. The Quarter is just a couple blocks away.

Great stay!

We very much enjoyed this apartment. Just off the French Quarter and walkable to any location there. Public transportation is easy, clean, friendly, and safe. The apartment is just as advertised and the pictures are exact. The beds were very comfortable. Definately would have liked extra towels both for the bathrooms and the kitchen and hooks or racks in the bedrooms to hang our towels to dry. All in all, it was a great place for a reasonable price. We would absolutely recommend this to friends or stay there again ourselves.

Nice Apartment

Apartment was clean, spacious and well furnished, a couple of blocks from the French Quarter and Faubourg Marigny. Owner was very responsive. Small minuses: - no dishwasher - bar on corner, loud on weekends - while the neighborhood is fine, the couple of blocks around are a little questionable. Sm

Got what we paid for…..

Except for the not good condition of the bathroom, the tub that did not drain, only 1 kitchen dish towel, and no bar soap for the shower.
