We rented the apartment to meet our daughter in NOLA and attend one of her events at the museum of art as she finished her residency in design program. The apartment was as described; clean and well-maintained. The beds were very comfortable. The lay out is odd (a bedroom between the kitchen and dining area) due to the "shotgun" style however it was easily remedied by moving the dining table and chairs into the kitchen. We cooked breakfast and some other meals though missed having a mechanical dishwasher. We had no problem parking on the street despite some space taken up by impending road work. A few blocks away is City Park, a beautiful place to take a stroll and meander through the sculpture garden. We did quite a bit of sightseeing. We highly recommend the cemetery tour (Save the Cemeteries operator), World War II museum (spent 4-1/2 hours and did not see the entire museum), swamp tour (Cajun Encounters operator), Audubon Insectarium and Zoo, and Preservation Hall. The cuisine is delightful. We had shrimp po' boy, mufalata (Central Market), turtle soup, oysters, red beans and rice, alligator, pralines, etc.... We ate at Cafe du Mond, Dat Dog and Commander's Palace to name a few eating establishments. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and recommend this apartment. Customer service was excellent, from making the reservation to departing for home.
