Great place to stay

Great place to stay. Wonderful having 3 bedrooms with own bathrooms.Comfortable king size beds in each room. Great views with mountains surrounding. Walking path next to creek a plus.

Beautiful place

This home was a beautiful place to stay. All three bedrooms are spacious and each has its own bathroom with a beautiful shower. The kitchen has plenty of pots and pans and dishes. I did buy a set of measuring cups and left them. It took me awhile to find the hot pads as they were in the oven drawer. They do not have a broom, or any cleaning supplies for you. We were there during 4 snow falls. We bought a snow shovel, did not leave that. Hopefully they will provide one now. You cannot watch TV and have the electric fireplace going unless you bring an extension cord. Suggestion, there should be a chair of some sort in the nice large entry for people to take shoes off. There should be some instructions on the heater/AC units. It was great that each area had their own unit. The furniture is nice but there are no coasters to protect it. If you rent this property the book of instructions says trash day is Thursday, but actually Wednesday.. Overall, we enjoyed our time in Ouray and this home. I would rent again if available and in the area. The manager was wonderful to work with.

Good base camp

Great location for activities around Ouray. Very comfortable for our group, able to spread out! Could use more towel bars in the bathrooms, perhaps a shelf under the mirror since it’s not over the sink. Need more rugs for boots in the front hall, and a can opener- couldn’t find one! Really a great place to stay!

Comfortable king sized beds with private en-suite bathrooms. A/C was a plus!!!

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this beautiful house. The beds were very comfortable. Definitely would stay again.

spacious property walking distance to hot springs

My family enjoyed this quiet, spacious property. The balcony overlooks a nice walking trail, beautiful mountain views, and an RV park. Our kids enjoyed having their own bedroom and bathroom. Travel bath amenities would have been a nice perk. The living and dining areas were open and comfortable. We were never able to find the light switch to turn on the ceiling lights in the living area. Hand soap for the kitchen sink is needed. We loved being able to walk to the hot springs. The restaurant recommendations in the owner's manual were helpful. Overall, we enjoyed the property and would stay there again.

Suggestion for other travelers

The property was lovely and in a great location. Suggestions is you decide to book: There is no grill so don’t plan on grilling There are only 2 chairs on the deck so bring your own The view off the back of the deck is river and mountains but there is also a fully booked trailer park between the river and mountain No remote for the ceiling fans to be found anywhere No extra trash bags … bring your own Complimentary toiletries means 1” round hand soap so bring all your toiletries Towels means 1 bath towel, 1 hand towel, and 1 wash cloth per person. If you want more you will have to bring them. Again, the property is in a great location to town and was clean and lovely. But, for the total price paid you should not scrimp on the amenities. Expect a clean place to stay in a great location but virtually zero extras.

Great property. New/immaculate. Right on a little river with great walking trail. So close to downtown Ouray you can walk. Super relaxing property.

Awesome house on the river in Ouray!

This house is in excellent shape with top end furnishings, appliances, furniture and bedding. We would definitely rent it again, the views are spectacular! Here are some suggestions for the owner to improve this property: 1. There are No deck chairs. Had to stand on the deck but would have liked to sit with some coffee and take it all in. 2. The master bathroom had no mirror above either sink. I had to shave over the floor looking into a mirror on the wall left of and behind the sink cabinet. Had to catch the cream with my free hand. I made do but it was weird. Plenty of room next to the sinks to add swivel wall mounted mirrors. 3. No round pizza pans or pizza cutter. We used the rectangular cookie sheets but two pizza pans and a cutter would be nice. 4. There was no way to turn on the ceiling fan in the downstairs bedroom. ***These items are not complaints, just suggestions. We had a wonderful time and thoroughly enjoyed the great home. Thanks!

Beautiful riverfront new Ouray property

Beautiful river view. Beds were luxurious with high end bedding. Bathrooms were great with new walk-in showers. Living room, kitchen and large master bedroom upstairs with beautiful views, great appliances and furniture. Only thing missing was patio furniture as property has great deck and patio, so really could not enjoy sitting outside. Owner needs to add bath mats in bathrooms. This is a definite property you want to rent.

Perfect

Winter paradise. You can’t order the snow to fall overnight to wake up to a wonderland, but that’s what we got. The setting was idyllic. Rooms were spacious and very comfortable. Road leading to the house was a bit bumpy, but manageable. Ouray is an excellent vacation spot. Highly recommend.

Our trip to Ouray did not start off on the best foot. We pulled up to the property and could not get in the driveway because of snow and ice. No one had shoveled. I called the local property manager (Brock) that told us to just drive over the ice and snow. He was not willing to do anything to clear the driveway for us. After disagreeing on the phone, he told me to call Evolve because he was not going to get the snow and ice cleared. I called Evolve who contacted the owner of the property. While waiting for a return call, an officer from the Ouray police department drove by. We explained the situation to him, and he said we could leave our car parked along the road overnight. The next morning, I received and email from Evolve saying the owner was going to have the snow and ice removed. After a day of snowmobiling, we returned to a cleared driveway. Despite this, we had a nice time in Ouray. The house is well appointed and had what we needed. We really liked that each room's temperature could be independently controlled.

Nice retreat and close to the town

Enjoyed our family time . A couple of things that were an issue was the snow and ice not being removed from front for safety and parking. My niece is 7 months pregnant and slipped was a bit scary. The internet sign on was not working and never was able to get that resolved. Things to add to home might be wine cork and glasses. Overall was a great space .

New property

New property, clean, large open common areas with private bedrooms. Good for a group of 6 to 8 people. Because the property is new the kitchen needs to be furnished with a few more utensils. Will definitely return.
