Perfect family vacation home

I stayed at Devlok for a summer get away with family. The house was spacious. The views from the deck are beautiful! We enjoyed the pool and hot tub. We took a short drive to both Peterborough for the lock boat tours. Communication with the owner was very easy and responsive. Overall it was a fun and comfortable stay and we would come back!

A great stay with 8 adults and 8 children. The property is in a very quiet area and well suited for a large gathering. Plenty of room and easy to use and maintain. The pool was a great hit with the kids (and adults). The host was very responsive to a couple of simple queries we had. And there was a maintenance guy who lived across the road who swung by once or twice to check on the pool.We would definitely go there again!

Great Place

Spent 5 days. Place was beautiful. Area was beautiful. Owners provided a ton of useful information in our welcome packet. Had a question when we got there and they responded in minutes. Would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful place

We really enjoyed our stay at Devlok. It’s a beautiful home and property with nice views of the lake. We spent most of our time in the large pool or sitting on the spacious deck. It’s close enough to town (Buckhorn) to have easy access to food and other activities (via car). We would definitely come back!

A very enjoyable property - serene is indeed an accurate description. Our family of 7 had a great time. Only minor disappointment was unexpected cost to get the pool heated. And many cameras and motion sensors understandable I suppose for a rental property.

The host was very kind, I had recently lost my daughter and she left 5 little ones he graciously put up a Christmas tree for all the grandchildren., they were so happy when we got to the rental. The house was beautiful the beds nice and cozy, all the rooms were neat and clean. I would come again

Great property, location, and host

Stayed here with a large family group, including several children. It is a beautiful property in a great location! The bathrooms are large with high quality fixtures. The kitchen is equipped with anything you could ask for, including gas stove and high-end, built-in appliances. The host was very responsive and helpful whenever I had a question. The only blemish for us was the many outdoor security cameras (more than 15) - the listing does reference cameras, which are understandable as a safety feature, but they were a source of discomfort for some of our guests. Overall it was a positive experience and we had a great time!

Idyllic family gathering

We enjoyed 8 wonderful days with extended family at this property. Everything was perfect. The house is magnificent, with wonderful amenities and a big beautiful kitchen, perfect for a larger group. There were plenty of bedrooms and luxurious bathrooms. It was so nice to have multiple areas for people to gather and spend time together. We used every room, and it was remarkably comfortable for our group. The pool was spectacular. We really enjoyed the upper deck looking out over the marsh. It was very peaceful and the bird life was amazing. We expected mosquitos but had no issues with that - there was a pleasant breeze off the water most of the time. The owner answered all of our questions and provided excellent information details about the property and area. He left a lovely gift basket for my parents who were celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary. There were many little touches showing that care was taken to make our stay nice. We were so appreciative of the opportunity to enjoy this beautiful home.

Great experience!

This property was exactly as advertised, tastefully decorated with many amenities and plenty of space for our large family. The pool, hot tub and large screen entertainment system were a hit with everyone. Our host was very responsive before and during our stay and provided us with plenty of information to make our stay very enjoyable. Highly recommend this property.
