We had a wonderful time at the "Chic Shack". The condo had everything we could have needed in a perfect location. The view was as beautiful as the décor. The host was very responsive through out our stay. We would definitely stay here again!

Relax place

It was fast to rent this property and the place was full equiped and very clean. Walk distante to the peaceful and beatiful beach. It was closed to stores to buy souvenirs and food and restaurantes. I really recommend this property.

We strive for complete transparency with our guests, and we do fully disclose the ongoing construction throughout the resort in our listing description. As you mentioned, the resort is still recovering from the hurricane, but we are pleased that many amenities, including the beach, pool, shops, and restaurants, are open and available for our guests to enjoy. We value your feedback and are committed to providing a 5-star experience. We maintain constant communication with our guests and are always available to address any concerns or issues that may arise during their stay. It's disheartening to receive a less than stellar review without any communication from the guest during their visit, as it prevents us from proactively addressing any concerns and ensuring a positive experience. We hope that despite the construction, you were able to enjoy some of the wonderful aspects of Captiva Island. We are confident that the resort will continue to improve and offer an even better experience in the future.

Beautiful view, power kept going out

Captiva is beautiful. First time there. Power outages were at least once per day during our visit. One time in the middle of the night for several hours. This meant no AC for quite some time. Per a neighbor at the building, it happens at least once per week on the island. Other than that, great unit and beautiful weather.

Beautiful condo

This was our first trip back to Sanibel/Captiva since Hurricane Ian. We have stayed at the South Seas in a different condo and this one is far superior! Love the decor - just as pictured. Very clean and spacious! Bathrooms were clean and AMAZING water pressure! Great view of the sunset and the ocean. We actually rode out tropical storm Debby in the condo. We lost power for about 2.5 hours but had wonderful communication from the host about restoration efforts. Despite the wind and rain, we had a great time!

Lovely but needs more beach chairs

Beautiful unit and location near the beach. I was disappointed there were only two beach chairs for a unit with six people. And we were not allowed to use the beach chairs that were on the beach. Because we did not rent from South seas directly.

Updated immaculate villa on the beach

We had a very nice stay at this renovated and updated beach villa on South Seas. Immaculate, modern decor, and well stocked with everything we needed. We didn’t have to buy anything except food. All the basics were provided and plenty for 4 days. Great location - walk to restaurants, steps from beach etc. 2 Beach chairs, beach towels, and umbrella provided. Management was very responsive to a couple very minor issues and had them resolved within an hour. Master bedroom right by elevator so on Saturday morning (busy check out day) the mechanical noise woke us up, but it was fine the rest of the days. We would definitely stay here again!

What we loved about this property was access to the beach, the ocean view, the cute decor, and the accessibility to the the rest of the island. The owners' communication was excellent, which we really appreciated. A small but also appreciated amenity was that there was a nice TV in both bedrooms, as well as in the shared space. This owner also provided games and books - a great perk! We would love to see an upgrade on the lanai furniture, which was metal and very uncomfortable. Part of the value of the property is the ocean view, which was great but would have been more enjoyable had the furniture been more accommodating. We did appreciate that there were 2 beach chairs and an umbrella. There should be 4 chairs for a property that sleeps 4-6.

Enjoyed the unit and property overall. Clean and neat, appropriately furnished (not overly cluttered and furnishings were comfortable and in current styles). Parking was easy to find outside the unit. Disappointed we couldn’t use a credit card to obtain services at the beach bar or Harborside Bar & Grill by the marina, as we have been able to in prior years. Recommend having unit services timed conveniently for guests; we were given short notice by your team that xfinity was coming to the unit (a service that we did not request), so we lost an afternoon at the beach waiting in the unit to let them in (They never showed up). Recognize that guests may not be comfortable having service people in the unit while no one is there, and hanging around to wait for them cuts into vacation time. Clarity at the outset as to whether xfinity was coming inside or not would have been helpful in enabling us to be prepared. Generally helpful and pleasant to work with.
