There are many cozy nooks in this cottage and the cottage is great for socializing as the open concept kitchen, dining area and living room is right on the main floor. Lots of windows allow light in and for you to view outside. There are 2 bedrooms, one queen bed, one bunk bed with a double mattress and single mattress. An alcove on the main floor with mattress, a pull out couch on the second floor and a mattress on the third floor. Multi level deck for enjoying the out of doors. Bring water.

Beautiful Place

Cozy waterfront home away from home

Great location, access to plenty of activities nearby, local shops and restaurants were delightful! The property itself was beautiful inside and out. Could have used some TLC before arriving

Cozy and charming!

My friends and I had a great time at this location. When we arrived the house was clean and had proper amenities. The rooms were adequate and cozy. There were fresh linens and pillows. The lake front view was our favorite. The water was fresh and it was quite shallow. The viewing dock was fabulous and allowed us rest during our swim. We all enjoyed out stay.

The location was beautiful and easy to find. Being 5 minutes away from Tobermory was great. The inside of the house was well looked after with up to date kitchen, washrooms and comfy beds. Be aware the stairs to the loft were very steep. There were issues with the front door lock which others have also noted. Kam responded promptly; however after several tries we were also able to figure it out on our own. Outside, things looked in need of some TLC such as 2 dirty kayaks under the deck which didn't look inviting to use. The hot tub looked clean though we didn't use it. The best part were new chairs by the beach that were great while watching the sunset!

Beautiful spot; but needs updates

Beautiful location. Had a bit of a hiccup checking in; but that was figured out on my own. Clean place, but many repairs need to be done. The back and front lights weren’t in full working condition,, and the back door knob wasn’t attached anymore. The tub in the bathroom doesn’t fill up. For the price; updates need to be done. Sunsets were beautiful, and location was great. I would return if things got fixed.

Thank you for feedback. The tub stoppers are spring loaded and needs to be pressed in order to hold the water. Its a jacuzzi tubs and runs perfectly fine. You could have messaged me for instructions. The lights in back and front have motion sensors so thats why you might have found they turn off but they are also fully functional. The Back door knob was replaced today.

I am writing to formally express my serious disappointment with the condition of the cottage during my recent stay from [dates of stay]. The experience was far below the standards expected, especially given the high price and the assurances from the booking platform. • No air conditioning, making the cottage extremely uncomfortable in the heat. To make matters worse, the door was left open when we arrived, compromising security and comfort. • No drinkable water available, which is simply unacceptable for any paid accommodation. • The barbecue was completely non-functional, ruining our plans for outdoor meals. • The backyard and surrounding area were poorly maintained and neglected. • The bed was uncomfortable, and we were bothered by bugs, making restful sleep impossible. • Kitchen utilities were in poor condition, the dishwasher was broken, and coffee cups were dirty, which is unhygienic and disappointing. This level of neglect and lack of basic amenities is unacceptable and does not justify the cost paid. I trusted the listing and platform to provide at least a basic standard of comfort and cleanliness, which was clearly not met. Given these issues, I insist on a partial refund to compensate for the significant inconvenience and discomfort experienced during our stay.

J'ai apprécié la vue, l'accès au lac, les étoiles, le spa, la propreté à l'intérieur. Les boiseries, les multiples fenêtres et l'architecture intérieure avait du cachet. J'ai moins apprécié l'extérieur défraîchi, le bois du patio recouvert d'une couche de moisissures hyper glissante (j'ai déboulé les marches). Les kayaks très sales et une pagaie était même brisée. Il manquait les verres à vin et aucun lit n'avait de draps, j'ai dû chercher partout dans la maison. Il n'y avait aucun mouchoir et aucune serviettes à main. Il manquait une corde à linge lorsqu'on sortait du spa. Dans l'ensemble, nous avons passé un agréable séjours à 6.

Wir machen eine ausführliche Bewertung, da dieses Objekt nicht gerade günstig ist und führen daher auch diese Mängel auf. Check-IN kompliziert da der Tür Code nicht funktionierte. Es musste der versteckte Erstatzschlüssel verwendet werden um ins Haus zu kommen. Erster Eindruck oberflächig sauer. Bei zweiten Hinsehen stellte man dreckiges Kochgeschirr fest. 2 leere Kaffeevoratsbehälter im Schrank vorgefunden. Trotz schriftlichen Hinweis per Mail kein Ersatz bereitgestellt. Betten waren nicht überzogen und kein Hinweis welche man verwenden soll. Ausstattung keine Klimaanlage. Allgemein etwas unordentlicher Eindruck in den Regalen und Ablageflächen. Waschmaschine Einfüllschublade verunreinigt durch vorhergehende Benutzung. Stehendes Wasser in der Dusche und Badewanne. Keine Möglichkeit die Fenster nachts zu verdunkeln. Aussenanlage wirkt verwittert.Auf den Wegen Blätter und Äste die nicht erst seit einer Woche herumliegen. Der Außen Gasgrill war verdreckt und musste erst sauber gemacht werden. Weg runter zum Wasser nicht gepflegt, verwildert, überwuchert. Positiv war die ruhige Lage, die Größe vom Haus, Panoramablick mit großen Fenster. Insgesamt ist der Baustil vom Haus innen sehr ansprechend.

Formidable!

Cette propriété est absolument formidable! Propre et bien située avec beaucoup d'intimité. Le décor est tout simplement majestueux à l'heure de l'apéro sur le quai et la baignade froide mais agréable! Nous avons adoré notre séjour.
