I don’t recommend anyone to stay there. No shampoo or body wash in the bathroom. Dishwasher didn’t work. Carpet had loose areas where it was a trip hazard. BBQ area was dirty, artificial turf was worn through in several areas. The turf was loose in several areas which was a trip hazard. No Netflix or other channels provided. Had to physically lift the entry door to get it back on its track.

Clean and spacious

Plenty of room for the 3 of us. Well appointed kitchen. Almost no hot water until we notified the host. Very responsive host. Furnishings are dated and a mix of styles, but still clean and comfortable. Some windows hard to open and close, and latch as they are worn. Still, would stay there again.

Great location

We were in town to meet our new grand daughter! This location is walking distance to the main part of town and restaurants. It's also across the street to La Mesa Community Center/Pool/park, which is ideal for families with children since there is no yard. Our grandson stayed a couple of nights with us in the extra bedroom. Super comfy beds and welcoming interior. I gave this a 4 instead of a 5 only because it advertises as a home yet there were 2 other units attached to it. The tenants are super quiet and we didn't even realize they were there when they were home. It did not hinder our stay at all and I would stay here again.

Such an Adorable Place

Great fun visiting La Mesa with my family in this space. We spent every morning having coffee on the deck and enjoyed movie nights in the comfy living room. Great service from the managers too!

Great Location

This house has a great location to all activities San Diego has to offer. The house itself was large enough to sleep a family of 4 comfortably. Great neighborhood and easy walking distance to downtown La Measa. The host was easy to communicate with and prompt to answer questions. I would suggest to the host to purchase a few fans to help move air at night. The house did get hot and made it uncomfortable to sleep at times. Overall great place and location. Thanks!

Keep looking

I've never given a bad review on here, but you should be warned before you stay here. Based on the listing and the willingness of the hosts to get us in a couple hours early, I thought this place would be amazing for our family trip. But I was very wrong. The contacts reached out multiple times asking for Venmo transfers for additional fees but was not so communicative about the things that we not working in the house. The toilet didn't work well for the first day and need a full day of repairs the second day (there's one bathroom). The lock box didn't work, so for the repairs they told us to leave the key on top of the lock box by the front door. Not exactly safe or secure. It was safer than keeping food in fridge though, we tossed most of the groceries we brought and stored the rest in the freezer to keep it cold. Don't get excited about the grill either, it lights but doesn't get hot enough to cook. They will offer to repair everything while your there, but your key won't be secure while they do it. Although they were watching us while we were there, so maybe they would have stopped someone from using the key on top of the lock box

Cute LA Mesa

Nice property really enjoyed our stay however felt restrictive due to the fact that there were at least 2 different seating areas that invited you to sit however because we could not smoke a cigarette we did not make use of them there was no smoking whatsoever on the grounds. Of course we would not smoke in the house however it did make this day a little untenable because we found ourselves smoking in the car or getting up early and walking around smoking a cigarette cigarette so there you have it

Perfect location

Central location with easy freeway access made our daily trip planning a breeze. Under 10-20 mins to everywhere. A short walk to multiple restaurants and shops in quaint La Mesa. Quiet neighborhood. We're coming back to San Diego, and to this property.
