A beautiful cottage style home with all modern amenities and comforts to completely unwind in the nature. The house is set on 7 acres of private marsh area with plenty of wildlife around.

3 mins drive to lake, ATV/snowmobile trails, fishing, provincial parks, beaches and beautiful towns.
Large parking lot, heating, electricity, running water, WiFi available.

Enjoy sunrise, relax on the deck. Spend evenings by firepit &bqarbecue and starry sky far from city lights.

Communication was spot on with host. The place was a lovely cottage and three of the four bedrooms had walk out sliding doors. It was easy to get into and worked perfectly for our stay. Only bummer is so many geese (which isn’t an issue as we love animals) just LOTS of Goose poop all over the yard but that can’t be something that’s really fixed since it’s wildlife - so it’s good to be aware of it! (Especially if you will have young kids with you.)

Fabulous Weekend at Marshmallow

One of the best Cottage experience, will definitely go back. Great place to rest and relax. Very clean, cozy and spacious. Sandeep is a great host, very responsive and friendly. Place is well equiped and homey.

Awesome Stay

Overall it was a good property and a nice getaway from city’s chaos. Our group enjoyed there stay and we would love to book the property again.

A great property for our purpose (daily motorcycle excursions) The host needs to address the low water pressure and iron in the water. The attic door in the main bedroom is off its hinges and needs to be fixed. It lets the warm attic air into the room. Otherwise this is a well maintained and great value for the money!

Great stay!

Went with 7 of my friends and had a great stay. Very clean property, modern appliances, availability of utensils/dishes, BBQ with propane, also has body wash/shampoo/conditioner in showers, towels, fans in all rooms & A/C in living room, spices in the kitchen, aluminum foil, and seal wrap for food. Also really loved the hammock! All in all, very well maintained and lots provided to make it easy to be there without having to pack a lot with you. There was low water pressure, but I think that's to be expected in cottage country! Bring your own drinking water (which was communicated by the host). Very helpful host who was also flexible and allowed for early check-in and late check out. Would definitely recommend!

good but may need sage

Now the place was beautiful over all, the land was amazing too and we had a great time during the day. there was just an issue with the water. the shower had bad water pressure and the taps and showers water in the bathroom came out orange every once and awhile But the house seemed like it was a completely different house at night, we felt like we were being watched and the whole feeling of it in the dark was scary tbh in a sense we didn't feel it was just the 2 of us there. the one night we heard voices and footsteps outside by the room, the front door is just auto matic so no physical lock which was uneasy to add to the weird.

Super Homwe Away from Home

This is a great house if you are looking for somewhere accomodate your family or a larger group. It has lots of room for everyone. The layout is excellent, with one double room and a single room upstairs; and two large rooms (one with an ensuite) downtairs. Big kitchen and living area and a great balcony overlooking the marsh. There is plenty to do in the area and an excellent restaurant not too far away, on #62. We fully recommend it.

Had a great time

We had a great stay here, Sandeep left fresh eggs and maple syrup for us which was great and thoughtful. Only thing was one of the toilets was out of service which was inconvenient but otherwise a great stay and a nice yard space as well

Clean and Modern

Very clean and modern property, owners left some goodies for us to cook - very sweet. Lots of space, and outside space was pretty as well. Would probably rent again once A/C is fixed. 😊

Almost Perfect

One of the few available affordable places that I could find. Only two and half hours from Toronto. The property does have some goose droppings but we were not bothered. The wrap around deck looks out over a marsh which has a lot of wildlife and is very nice in the evening and mornings for reading or meditating. The one thing that we didn’t like about the location is that there can be large gravel trucks driving on road that use their air brakes when going around the corner during the day. The Steenburg Lake beach is minutes away by car and there are other places for hiking as well. Over all 5 stars.

Nicely renovated & clean place

The property overall was very good, it was clean and nicely renovated, and it provided us with everything we needed. Sandeep was responsive to my questions and made sure our stay was comfortable. The TV was a huge bonus for relaxing at the end of the long day. Few things we would recommend Sandeep improves on: 1. The single bed was not comfortable for an adult to sleep on 2. Proactively maintain the water supply equipment as the water comes from a well and initially we had very low pressure until his handyman came to reset it due to a power outage in the area and ended up cleaning the filters as well which vastly improved the water pressure. Despite the above improvements, I would highly recommend this property, it was perfect for a small group of 4 of us as we each had our own bedroom and shared the 2 bathrooms.

Marshmellow cottage

Property was nice and clean inside. Outside needed a little cleanup. But overall a great property. Nice and convenient for us as we have family in the area.
