Cottage - Serenity Now on Jordan Lake (La Villetta)

This cozy chalet style retreat is ideal for couples and families with children. The interior of the cottage consists of pine and cedar ceilings with porcelain and Cumaru flooring. Main floor: mud room with a closet, kitchen/dining area, living room w/ceiling fan and wood stove fireplace, 4 piece bath and 1 bedroom (queen). Second floor: mast/bedroom (queen, ceiling fan and walkout balcony overlooking the waterfront); 1 bedroom (2 bunk beds - 1 bottom double and 3 twins); 2 piece bath. All rooms have at least one window with the exception of the second floor bathroom. The cottage’s waterfront is very private facing south for all day sunshine with 171’ of frontage. It consists of a deck, dock, firepit, kids fort, 4 kayaks, 1 canoe, peddle boat, paddle board, hammock and a swing. Like the rest of the property, it is composed of mature trees that bring shade when needed.

Great swimming, nature-watching & cabin

The utter quiet and treehouse feel of this clean and well-appointed cabin was lovely. There’s a screened-in gazebo, everything you could need, and an exquisite lake for swimming, sunbathing and water sports.

Everything we needed

The place is absolutely gorgeous - such a tranquil location. There are multiple hang-out spots for those who need a break or a change of scenery (two balconies, screened in porch/balcony, fire pit area). The water is beautiful with a view of crown land on the other side. The cottage is spacious and accommodates many comfortably as described (although we were just a group of 3 and a dog!). Loved the fireplace on our cool nights, that was such a treat. There are lots of hikes in the area that we enjoyed in the mornings. St. Ola's station has great baked goods (just a few minutes away by car). Jared, our host, was an excellent communicator, and ensured the place was very clean, tidy, and well stocked (kitchen had all the tools we needed, lots of firewood, etc). . My only complaint is I wish we booked another day!

Worked really well

The swings on site, boats and play structure was really great for the kids. Sleeoing layout worked well for our group of 4 kids and 4 adults.

Exceeded Expectations!

Beautiful setting with lots of amenities. Cottage was clean with excellent appliances and lots of cookware. There was much attention to detail in terms of provisions in every space. Quiet lake with clear water and very private! The host was top notch in communication throughout the process.

Family vacation

My family visited Jared’s property and had a great time! It was cleaned and fully stocked with supplies, especially the kitchen. He had everything you could need. The property is beautiful but I would have to stay although very noticeable in pictures when booking, that it might not be the best fit for those who have a hard time with hills, I got a work out in every time I went to and from the lake. We loved our time and there and would recommend this listing.
