Great swimming

Fabulous holiday. Traditional cottage with all the modern amenities, queen beds, three bathrooms, dishwasher, wifi and loads of space. Hosts were attentive yet gave us our privacy. Swimming was amazing.

We arrived on a Thursday when the sun was shining. We sat on the comfy chairs at the water and enjoyed the quietness of the water and area. The home is lovely inside with inviting space for many people. There are 3 areas to enjoy a meal depending on your crowd size. The beds were comfy, pillows maybe not so much, but that is a personal preference. We had 5 adults in total staying at the time. There are 3 spaces to shower, while we tended to use the ensuite shower. Would recommend the property and would visit again. The property owners were very helpful when I asked if there was a deck of cards, which of course were easily located after a quick reply from the property owner. Kitchen was fully stocked with cooking equipment, plates and utensils.

Short stay in North Bay

Five of us were in town for 1 night so looking for a place where we could stay together close to town and this was perfect. Super clean, lots of space and, while we couldn’t enjoy the lake because of the time of year, the view was spectacular. Communication with the owner was fantastic. Highly recommend!

A perfect family gathering space!

Helene was an amazing host-very attentive and kind. The location is second to none with a very interesting and very clean cottage within city limits and close to everything. Walking some distance out into the lake made it wonderful for young grandchildren. Canoe, kayaks, life jackets all ready for our use and a well stocked kitchen made meal prep easy. We will definitely return.

Girls Getaway

We had an amazing time in North Bay. Our cottage was spectacular and very clean! Our Host Helene was so friendly and helpful. We were blessed with amazing weather that allowed us to sit out and enjoy the beautiful view of Lake Nipissing. We would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone!

August Family Vacation

Being a family from the area it was always our dream to find a place to stay right on the beach. Everything about this place exceeded our expectations. The mesmerizing scenery, the relaxed cottage atmosphere, and especially the host who was so responsive to all of our requests. Highly recommended.

VA to North Bay

House was as pics showed, though we thought all rooms on main level so a bit surprised with basement bedroom, which was bit musty. Steps to water were steep with little to no railing so highly recommend adding. Overall we had a great time because house had all we needed and location was lovely on quiet street with access to all North Bay has to offer.

A return to my childhood

This is a wonderful property — the owners have done a very good job of anticipating the needs of virtually any guest. I grew up a few doors down from this place and enjoyed the swimming very much as a kid. Sadly, my parents decided to sell a few years back. Staying at this property was just the ticket for a walk down memory lane. My kids used the canoe on property to head out on calm evenings for a little bass fishing. Of course the sunsets on Lake Nipissing are a must see and swimming is awesome — a great place to wave dive on windy days or take in the sun when it’s calm. The lake has a nice sandy bottom with sandbars — so much fun for the kids. We had a few family members drop by over on our one week stay — it was always easy to host as everything was right at hand. From check-in to check-out everything was seamless. Overall, great property for a vacationing family looking for prime beachfront access and water activities. We will be returning. 5 stars all around! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

As advertised ... plus!

My brother, sis-in-law and I went home to North Bay for a long weekend to reconnect with some high school friends and family. This cottage was perfect, it felt like home. We had 8 people for dinner Saturday and Sunday nights - the kitchen has everything you could possibly need and the dining room table sat us all comfortably. After dinner coffee on the dock with a fantastic view to watch the sunset and listen to the waves - it was a dream. The pictures don't show how comfortable the beds are, how wonderful the bath towels are, how great the hosts are, or how lovely Ernie the Labradoodle who came for a visit was :). I have been booking with vrbo across Canada and Florida for over 20 years - this accommodation is a definite 10 out of 10 - I look forward to my next visit.

Awesomeness lots of sun by the waterfront and if you want shade backyard is the place to be nice and cozy no bugs at nigh. best sun sets you’ll ever see. Very welcoming and nice folks to deal with. Highly recommended!! :)

Great Experience

It was an outstanding experience. The house was clean, communication with owners was fantastic and everything was as pictured on the listing. We have a family of 6 (2 adults and 4 kids between 11-16 years old). There was lots to do and see.

Skie and fishing trip.

The hostess was in contact with us from the beginning till after our stay. Really clean place and also very nice location. We might of been a bit loud the first night but didn’t hear any complaints. I would definitely recommend this place.

Beautiful Views & Comfortable Beds.

Our group stayed 6 nights comfortably in this lakeside cottage close to downtown. I forgot a hairdryer and within minutes the host delivered one. I would gladly return as well as recommend to friends and family.

Beautiful spot. Lots of charm

This rental was great for our party of seven family weekend. Lots of common areas and sufficient private spaces to retreat. The direct access to the lake, beautiful sunset and abundant number of anemeties made our stay pleasurable and entertaining. The landscaping is original and creative. As advertised. Thank you to our hosts for great communication which made for a seamless arrival and departure. Highly recommended!

Good times

The house had lots of rooms with great views of the lake. The young people all had fun in the water with kayak and paddleboards. Close to grocery and other stores. Would highly recommend it for a fun stay.

Stunning cottage!

We had a very relaxing stay at this stunning cottage. Perfect private beach and decks overlooking the beautiful lake. The cottage was stunning and large and very comfortable and clean. Hosts were very friendly as well. Highly recommended!.

Awesome Family Summer Experience

The property is wonderful for families. The hosts were amazing and provided everything we needed and more. Communication was excellent, before during and after the trip. We had 5 kids ranging from 15 to 7 and they all had fun. They all had a place to sleep and the multiple rooms allowed for kids to play and do other items. It is well furnished and the kitchen had everything we needed. The water was warm and we spent a lot of time playing in the waves with the boogie boards and kayaks. It was an impressive sunset every night and we had several fires to make smores. The boys caught 3 bass casting off the deck using a baited pickerel rig. Highly recommend for families and for anyone to experience being waterfront in a lake front cottage.

Wonderful stay

We had a great time at this property in a prime and private location. The house was clean and well equipped and very comfortable. The antiques and collectables throughout give it a homey feel. We enjoyed the beach and the lakeside views. The hosts are very accommodating and available and made us feel very welcome. I highly recommend this property!!
