Sanctuary Vacation Rentals is proud to present "Sea Foam Oasis"! Sleeps 6
Set in a unique Monterey neighborhood, this 1,877-square-foot contemporary reflects the colors of the ocean, located just one block away. Walls washed in bright whites, soft blues, sandy-toned wood floors and vintage surfboards suspended from the ceiling give this 3-bedroom, 2.5 bath home a decidedly beachy vibe.
Living Spaces
A charming gate welcomes you onto a comfortably furnished stone patio. Entering the split level home, you’ll discover an abundance of skylights and windows. Up several steps, there’s a spacious great room that includes the living and dining room, and flows into the kitchen. The living room features modern furniture, a 75” flat-panel TV and skylights with shades controlled by remote.
Kitchen and Dining
The gourmet kitchen features a center island and granite countertops and is equipped with a 4-burner gas stove, built-in microwave, a small dishwasher and a refrigerator/freezer. A Keurig coffee maker has both drip and pod functions.
Vintage surfboards hang above the dining table fitted with 8 chairs. A wall of windows invites in the natural light. Doors open onto a balcony furnished with a bistro-style table with fire-pit center and tall chairs that accommodate the vistas beyond. Well-equipped for extended stays!
Bedrooms and Bathrooms
Completing the upper level is Bedroom #1, a primary suite set privately at the back of the home. A king bed is flanked by night stands and wall-mounted lights. A 55” TV hangs over a faux fireplace operated by a remote. The en suite bathroom has a roomy shower, double-sink vanity and Toto commode with bidet and a cedar-lined walk-in closet / dressing room.
A half bath is located upstairs near the living areas.
Lower level - 2 bedrooms and another full bath that has a shower over a jetted tub, vanity and Toto commode with bidet. An additional double sink vanity is located in the hall.
Bedroom #2 has a split California king bed, 45” TV and 2 night stands with lamps.
Bedroom #3 has a queen sofa sleeper with a neatly-stowed mattress topper for additional comfort, and a desk.
Both lower level bedrooms open onto the private back patio.
Outside
Along one side of the house is a covered area with a sofa, chairs and fire pit table. Along the other side, is an outdoor shower that also serves as a dog washing station. The back patio is home to a bar with 2 stools, tables with 8 chairs, and a large hot tub.
The attached garage has space for one car and an EV charging outlet, (guests must bring their own cable and adapter) with room for 2 cars in the driveway.
The laundry room has a washer and dryer, a sink, plenty of cupboard and counter space and a second fridge/freezer.
This property is a short stroll to Del Monte Beach that stretches for miles in both directions. Walk the beach or the Monterey Bay Recreation Trail to the wharf to find dining options on the pier and nearby. Follow the path around the marina to Custom House Plaza, Fishermen’s Wharf and historic downtown Monterey. Further down is the world-renowned Monterey Bay Aquarium.
It’s just a short drive to charming Peninsula communities including Carmel-by-the-Sea, Pacific Grove and Pebble Beach. Shops, restaurants that span the cuisines of the world, bakeries, brew pubs, wine tasting rooms, cafes and grocery stores are close by.
Well-behaved dogs are welcome with pre-approval, an additional pet fee and a signed pet addendum.
This home is a monthly rental and we request that all nights of your stay are within the same calendar month. Some exceptions may be possible, with the approval of our team and the homeowner. Extended stays are often possible.
