Perfect location!

This place is great! It's location is hard to beat and the owner is warm and welcoming! I would definitely recommend this spot for 2-4 people or a small family. We will book here again!

Great Place

Great ground floor condo right next to Barton Springs with great trails for running. Close to downtown and Mopac. I would stay here again!

Great time

We enjoyed our stay here. The place is comfy and nicely decorated. Very close to Baton Springs. We also walked to the Umlauf Sculpture garden.

Nice place in Austin

This is a very nice, clean VRBO in a great location. Our only recommendation would be to have better lighting at the end of the steep driveway to make it easier to see at night.

Great Location for Austin

We came down for the Moto GP on our motorcycles and we had a great time. The location is not too far from COTA racetrack and really liked that so many good eateries were close by. Look forward to renting again.

Great location!

Excellent, central location. We enjoyed being across from Barton Springs Pool and Zilker Park. The place was cozy and the king size bed was very comfortable. We also enjoyed the private outdoor space. Having a covered parking spot and an extra spot for a visitor was nice. We will stay again! Thank you!

Great location

Great spot. Short ride to downtown and right across from Barton Springs. Right near running/biking trails too. Fast wifi when you want some downtime. Items like coffee, filters, paper towels, extra trash bags were there. Thoroughly cleaned.

Parkside review

Excellent location. I’ve never stayed in a short term rental though that had the owners personal items in the cabinets (bathroom). There was limited space to put all of our own things. The one table lamp in the living room had a low wattage bulb and was difficult to read by. The ceiling light helped some. These were fairly minor things, we would stay here again.

Great Place, Convenient Location

We have nothing bad to say about this place. Four old college buddies in town for a reunion, and we had Barton Springs across the street and 6th street a short Uber ride away. If anything, it was better than expected!

Charming suite by Barton Springs near DT Austin

This was our first trip to Austin. In the heat of July, swimming in Barton Springs with our two kids was a must. How thrilled we were when we realized our Airbnb apartment was literally across the street! The apartment was nicely A/C'ed and well decorated. Washer and dryer were very convenient. After a week of hotels, it was quite therapeutic to be in a comfortable and home-like spot. Downtown Austin was just minutes away by car drive, and there were plenty of restaurants down the street.

Perfect location

Couldn't be any closer to zilker park and all there is to do. Located directly across the street from the park, trails, and Barton springs to name a few. House is cozy and had everything we needed for our stay. Would definitely recommend it!!

Loved Staying Here

This place is great! Bright, pretty, and literally across the street from Barton Springs. I really enjoyed walking over there to swim every day and run on the hike and bike trail. Everything you need is at the house - pots, dishes, shampoo & conditioner, and even great coffee. The beds were VERY comfortable, and the house was very clean. I loved the south Austin neighborhood, with great restaurants and close to the Alamo Drafthouse, a movie theater that serves dinner and drinks! I would recommend this for anyone, especially people with kids who want to be close to the Springs and Zilker park!

Great home with great location in Austin

Very nice little home within a short drive from Downtown Austin and right across the street from Zilker Park. House had everything we needed (although didn't use the tv or kitchen at all), owners were very helpful leading up to the stay, and we had no problems! It was very clean and well taken care of- pictures were very accurate. Would certainly rent again in the future!

perfect for family weekend

The Parkside was the perfect location for our outdoorsy family to spend a long weekend. The property was well maintained, had everything we needed - even good whole bean coffee and a grinder! Four adults and a baby stayed there and other family members joined us comfortably for meals. We spent many happy hours at Barton Springs and Zilker, and enjoyed dinners at Threadgill's and from Austin Java (Austin Cafe? now I can't remember). Both the owner and VacationCake were friendly and concerned for our satisfaction. Highly recommend.

Just right

Park Cabin was a delightful stay for us. So easy to walk to many things. The beds were very comfortable and all needed dishes and silver were there - coffee, as well, although we had brought our own so didn't use it. We want to block out the same dates next year (Mar 1 thru 7th) Thanks for maintaining a good and interesting place. David and Virginia Bueide

A little slice of heaven

My husband and I and our two children stayed here for 10 days at the end of June and early July, and it was perfect. The location is ideal. In five minutes, you can be at Barton Springs, or walking on the Town Lake Trails. In five minutes if you are driving, you can be downtown, and can check out the best independent bookstore around (Book People), a great show at Antone's or get yourself a fine meal at Uchi. The apartment offers great privacy and a good kitchen, stocked with great coffee, as well as a spacious master bedroom and a great smaller bedroom for our children. The owner was friendly and helpful. We can't wait to go back!
