Holiday fun at the BayView House, bring fido!

Welcome to The BayView House, a 3-bedroom, 2.5-bath, two-story home located directly across from Mission Bay in Mission Beach!
Perfect for families, friends, or groups, this home offers breathtaking 180-degree views of Mission Bay, daily sunsets, and the refreshing ocean breeze. Enjoy a central location that’s just minutes from San Diego’s arts, culture, restaurants, beaches, and family-friendly activities. This home is ideal for couples, solo travelers, business guests, and families with kids.
Almost every window in the home showcases incredible water views. The entire downstairs is designed for comfort—from the sunroom to the spacious living room with a massage chair, couches, and smart TV, to the fully equipped kitchen with bar and dining table seating.
The upstairs bedrooms provide three distinct sleeping arrangements:
* Master Bedroom: California king bed, opens to a private balcony for morning coffee with views of the bay. The en-suite master bathroom features a separate tub, free-standing shower, toilet, and vanity. Privacy curtains are available to the west and north. TV with cable included. Note: There is no closet or dresser inside the master; cabinet and shelf storage is located just outside the bedroom.
* Guest Bedroom 1: Queen bed with large mirrored closet.
* Guest Bedroom 2: Twin-over-full bunk bed, bright and playful, includes large mirrored closet, dresser, desk, and shelving for storage or homework/play space.
A full guest bathroom with tub/shower combo is shared by the secondary bedrooms. A half-bath is located on the main floor.
Beach accessories are stored in the alley next to the stackable washer and dryer.
Guests will have the entire house to themselves, complete with Wi-Fi, fully stocked kitchen, smart TVs, and plenty of space for friends and family. One parking space is available behind the home in the alley, with additional public parking on McGraw Street.
NEWLY ADDED! The home features central A/C and heating, allowing you to choose cool air or warmth (cannot operate both simultaneously).

Check-in instructions are emailed after rental agreement completion and identity verification. Signage throughout the home helps guide use of amenities, and we are available after hours for emergencies.

Minimum Stay Policies
* Off-season: 4-night minimum
* Peak Summer (June–Aug): 6-night minimum + Saturday check-in
* Friday/Sunday arrivals may be possible—please inquire
Holiday 2025:

6-night minimum + Saturday check-in (Dec 20–Jan 3). No arrivals/departures Dec 25 or Jan 1. Stays cannot span both holidays unless 2 weeks.
Summer 2026:

Memorial Day–Labor Day = Saturday–Saturday stays (6–7 nights).
No arrivals/departures July 4.
Friday/Sunday arrivals may be possible—ask us.

* Noise-sensitive residential neighborhood: no loud music, parties, or outdoor noise after 9 pm

* Furniture/decor may differ slightly from photos (no refunds for minor changes)

After Booking
Guests must complete a rental agreement and participate in identity verification through Autohost. Temporary $2 authorization (drops off automatically) confirms verification. Check-in details are provided after verification and rental agreement completion.

We recommend a car for ease of getting around, but public transportation (city bus) is available by walking 0.5 miles to the south.

I am going to review the home and the agency in one. I find it harder to find info on the actual property you are staying at. (Well, VRBO sent my review back to del. address) If you are looking for the best location, this seems to be in the middle of everything. Anytime we were going somewhere, it seemed to be close. It is right off Interstate 5 so you didn't have much drive once you exited. The actual house was just average. c- I would say. It could be a B with just a tiny bit of things added. There are 2 bathrooms that have showers. Both upstairs. One bathroom has a place for a hand towel right about the sink. Otherwise, there is not a single place to put a towel. No Where. You have to get a hanger and hang up in the closet. The maintenance guy had to come by and I did mention it to him and he mentioned that he goes in other units that have tons of towel bars and they still use the floor?? Who puts their towel on the floor, yall are gross!! I just think that should be standard in every unit. So, I guess this is also a negative towards Nancy. If you are going to have an occupancy of 6, have a way to hang up six towels. There should be set standards. Towel Bars should be on that list. In the master bedroom, there is not a place to put an article of clothing. NO chest of drawers, no closet no nothing. You can live out of a suitcase that week. Again, I think a closet or chest of drawers should be standard in each bedroom. The shower in

Bayview house stay

Overall, House was great - AC works great, all beds are super comfy. Only a few quirks to point out: first, the master bedroom is at the front of the house which faces and overlooks the I-5. The commuter train also runs right alongside the highway. At times the traffic and train sounds were pretty loud and woke us up at night. Second, the master bathroom is part of the bedroom, not a separate room. So the toilet is only separated from the bed by a curtain. The tub is right in the bedroom along the wall. So no bathroom privacy in other words….as long as you are ok with those two things, the house was good. Our teenagers in the other two bedrooms had no issues and were super happy with the stay here! The location is convenient but nothing really is in walking distance because of the large highway right in front. But only a 5 minute drive from pacific beach area….

Ok But Could Use a Few Things

Overall it was a good fit for our family. Good size living room and kitchen, 3 bedrooms. Master bedroom is definitely weird with the toilet being directly across from the bed (and no doors or walls). My biggest issue was the lack of anywhere to put our clothing in the master bedroom. We were there for 10 nights, and had to live out of our suitcase, on the floor. A little 3 drawer dresser below the TV would add so much. Also lamps on the bedside tables (invest in ones with usb charging ports), would be a huge improvement. I like to read before I fall asleep and had to have the main overhead lights on to do this, then get up and go turn them off. Not the end of the world, but not convenient either. Also, consider shampooing the carpet, it's pretty nasty.
