Family visit

Basic accommodation very good access to public transport and supermarket and was close to our relatives for visiting. We did our own servicing.

Great location

Great location & comfortable place. Needs a few updates (weatherstripping, bathroom) but it was still good. Car garage was very tight & should really be included. We would stay there again!

Great location

Great spot, compact but what we needed. Only 2 bedroom - 2 fold-outs are in the lounge. Would recommend.

Awesome location, great digs

You cannot better the location!!! We went swimming every morning and walked all the local walks. Great food shopping close by and the best coffee outlet (Havana) only a few doors away. Humble digs but absolutely everything you would need for a few days exploring Wellington. Thank you Dave for letting us stay with you.

Just as it says

Basic accommodation in a wonderful spot. Watch the sailboats and ferries go by, and runners and cyclists and walkers with their doggies. The beach is directly across the street for a bracing swim out to the pontoon. Walk everywhere from here, Mt Victoria is directly above and Te Papa and the bottom of Cuba St is just round the corner along the waterfront.

Great location directly across the road from the beach

So handy to bus stops, walking distance to the supermarket and cafes, beach & playground across the road, the boat cafe across the road was an unexpected hit with our family. The property manager was very quick to respond to text messages and answer the phone when I rang - thank you for that. Can I make a small suggestion that the property manager send details of how to get into the apartment before the check in time on the day? The apartment could do with a number of minor repairs, but overall it was clean and provided all the essentials.

Perfect location for city break!

Absolutely wonderful location, right on Oriental Parade. Restaurants, Te Papa, beach, all a stroll away. Roomy comfortable quiet bedrooms at back of the apartment. Down sides: only sent check in details an hour before we arrived! The garage was too small for my car so we had to park on the road. Only one towel provided for each guest, almost no loo paper and no milk in the fridge! Good TV & Netflix, but very limited seating for 4 adults: only one 2 seater sofa & then hard chairs. However, the niggly negatives were overshadowed by the brilliant location & amenities close by! Such a great little flat for a city break!

Disappointing

1. Foldaway beds were booked but were unsatisfactory for sleeping on due to very thin mattresses - wire wove causing considerable discomfort 2. Poor standard of cleaning - photographs taken but unable to upload to this site 3. Garage only suitable for small car - we had to park on the street which was cheaper than apartment charges 4. Convenient location

The folding sofa bed is latest large sofa bed, I also offer to help with extra mattress if guest needs but they refuse. The cleaning by professional cleaner and also I offer to come to solve any issues and had beef refused. The guest want a bargain rent reduction.

So terribly disappointed

Place was dirty floors were sticky. Windows could not lock. Only stayed one night of the two night booking. Garaged was so small car only just got in the door could not be closed. Kitchen needs new pots and pans very poor. Outside door entrance was so dirty you could not touch the walls getting dirty. Just so disappointed wont ever stay again. Please clean your place up.

Untidy upon arrival (Including broken glass). Poor customer service.

Looks to be a decent place, but our experience was disappointing. Upon our late night arrival, we found the location to not have been cleaned. We found food in the fridge and trash, used beds and, most terrifyingly, broken glass in the sink and trash can of the bathroom We contacted the owner, who sent over a cleaner to check. The cleaner didn't believe us at first, and then when we called the owner again, he assured us that it had been cleaned, despite the photo evidence that we provided (There was even a note left by the previous tenant for the cleaning staff warning about the broken glass, and nothing had been done about it.) The cleaners came back to change the bedsheets saying that they would be done shortly, but being that it was nearly midnight and we were not confident that they would actually tidy the rest of the apartment sufficiently (namely the glass in the bathroom), we had to stay elsewhere that night because we didn't feel comfortable there. Despite these issues, a refund for the first night was not offered until we called and spoke to Bookabatch. Our interactions with the owner of this property made us feel uncomfortable and honestly a bit scared to stay there. We did not end up staying there at all and still have not received a refund for any of the nights, despite his supposed offer to refund the first night. Though the location seemed nice, we would not recommend staying because of our interactions with the owner.

Great vibe with this accommodation, we opened the French windows and listened and looked out to the harbour and watched the world go by.
