Impresionante apartamento en Cuba

Bienvenido, nos complace anunciar nuestro nuevo apartamento en Cuba. Relájese y disfrute de nuestro hermoso patio y de nuestros magníficos muebles. Este apartamento se encuentra a 2 minutos a pie de la parte superior de la calle Cuba, lo que lo convierte en el lugar perfecto. Este espacio es realmente privado y tranquilo, así que siéntase como en casa. También hay WiFi ilimitado gratis y un enorme televisor de 58 pulgadas. Por favor, vea mis otros listados para revisiones.

TENGA EN CUENTA: solo hay 1 baño principal con ducha, inodoro, etc., hay otro baño .5 abajo pero solo tiene un inodoro y un lavabo.

Estacionamiento:
Es un aparcamiento de pago a lo largo de Torrens Terrace, pero no todo el tiempo. Solo aplica aplica de lunes a viernes de 8am a 6pm. Incluso durante este período, las dos primeras horas son gratuitas y no se requiere cupón. Si desea estacionar más de dos horas, debe comprar un cupón que está disponible en las tiendas locales, incluido el mini mercado en la esquina de Webb St y Torrens Terrace.

Great home base for a long weekend. Good location with lots of nice restaurants and bars close by. Clean and nicely furnished. Secure and quiet.

Convenient

So close to the top of Cuba Street. Convenient location. Could be cleaner...place is a bit shaby but if you are here to explore Wellington then you will be out all day and mainly use this as a base just to sleep.

It wasn't the best stay. The bottom room was moldy and smelt. Tiny Shower and toilet It would have been nice if the place had some small things Washing powder, soap, pepper, salt, cooking oil

Great property, perfect location especially without a vehicle. Easy access to supermarket, CBD activities. Felt safe, great value for money. Was obvious there had been a quick turn around between with light clean. Otherwise, can't fault it.

Needs maintenance and attention

We ended up checking out early - furniture and carpets were dingy and ants coming through walls and floors in bathroom. When we messaged the property managers, they didn’t seem to understand the issue. Really needs maintenance and a thorough cleaning.

Adequate near Cuba

Good location. Property not well maintained eg. broken floor tiles, mold in tile grout, carpet needs replacing or deep clean, rips in sofa stitching and hole in bed base. Cleanliness is ok if assessed separately to maintenance issues. Heating is good. Beds may not be comfortable for some.

Nice location, in need of refresh

We enjoyed our stay, the location was close walking distance to the shops and restaurants on Cuba St. The unit was a little tired and not terribly clean. The heat pump control did not work and the property managers said they would get to it after our stay ended. Fortunately there were electric heaters to keep the place warm. The place was ok, but lacked warmth (literally and figuratively). We would not stay here again.

Roomy…Needs a Refresh!

The street is fringe but close to Cuba Street and only a 15 minute walk to the center of town. Shabby for sure. Very musty, cracked tiles, stained carpets, thread bare towels, chipped paint, missing or blown out lightbulbs, a filthy toaster. Unusable outdoor space—dirty, birds nesting. It just seemed neglected. No guest instructions. Couldn’t turn on TV. Took 2 days for host to tell us where to put trash. Good water pressure and AC. Would not return.

Awesome location

Overall my small group of friends enjoyed our stay at this flat. The location was excellent - so close to Cuba Street which is simply a happening place for all sorts of shops, eateries, pubs etc. The street terminates at the pier and other tourist sites nearby so a great choice for shopping, tourism, etc. We had a small snafu with the place not being cleaned between the prior tenant so we had to do some of our own cleaning/laundry on arrival (appears the housekeeper failed to show). But had great communication with the owners who waived our own housekeeping fee in return so it all worked out. Kitchen had all the amenities we needed to cook though the variety of take-away options on Cuba Street did limit our need. Beds were all comfortable. Only one shower, located in loft so not quite as convenient but certainly manageable and we knew this ahead of time. Did not use the balcony as the cloth coverings on the chairs were dirty, it rained a bit and truthfully the view is of a concrete wall so not all that appealing. Wished the unit included a parking space as that was a mild issue on arrival but later found a parking space right on the street and left the car there and it was fine for us as for on the weekend on-street parking free after like 6pm Fri until Mon 8am. Overall really liked the convenience of the place and its proximity to things on Cuba St. What the place lacked in curbside appeal it made up for in location so I don't have a problem recommending. All is as advertised and certainly a decent place to hang while in Wellington for several days.

Overall value for money but a little tired.

Value for money overall. Used tissues on the floor on arrival and kitchen and bathroom bins with rubbish in them. Unable to have guests for dinner which was a shame that it was assumed we would be partying. Our son's were in Wellington and it would have been nice to have been able to cook dinner for them.

Great mother’s-and-daughters trip!

James was a great host, it was very easy to communicate with him even months before our stay. The apartment was spacious and tidy, the beds and bedding were a let down but there were more than enough towels and cooking utensils. Just small improvements to make another guests stay ever better! Some breakfast cereals and milk would be a brilliant addition too. Location was close to all of the essentials, we walked along Cuba street to the waterfront daily. To finish off, the building and surrounding area was incredibly quiet so we all had great sleep over the whole weekend. Happy happy guests!

Great apartment

For our 3 day visit in Wellington this was a terrific apartment It’s spacious and both of the beds were comfortable. There is a huge window/door to a comfortable deck, but no view. It’s a quiet neighborhood right next to a big Asian grocery store and a great meat market. We walked from here to several tourist places including The Te Papa Museum, Parliament, Cable Car, Botanical Gardens, Harbourside Market, Mt Victoria Lookout, and of course, Cuba Street The only negatives are minor. There is a broken toilet seat downstairs, and the kitchen is stocked with the bare minimum of cookware. We would definitely stay here again.

Great location, nice apartment

We had a great time staying here. We walked everywhere as it is so close to everything. The place is well set up and clean. It is in need of a bit of maintenance, mainly in the bathroom.

Not on Cuba Street

The property manager was good with his communication however he did not let us know that the dishwasher was not working. The dishes that were in there were also not cleaned. Very flexible with check out time and this was fantastic. Please note: this apartment is not on Cuba street and the title Cuba Apartment is miss leading. Nice and spacious though, but needs to fix downstairs toilet.
