This split level studio has a warm polished timber floor in the bedroom, which has an ensuite bathroom, a built-in wardrobe, and a lovely leafy outlook. Down a few steps there are cool tiles in the combined kitchen/living area, which has a generous breakfast bar and small dining table. There is plenty of space outside on the patio and back yard, which you virtually always have to yourself. The patio has a table and two chairs and there are a front loader washing machine and dryer available for your use. Off-street parking is available. The exterior of the house is still a work in progress, partly rendered and partly original red brick, and the grounds are yet to be fully planted out and landscaped the way I intend, but they are always kept clean and tidy.
The queen size bed with comfortable mattress is fitted with bamboo/cotton or high thread count pure cotton sheets. This combines with a choice of firmer latex memory foam and/or soft pillows to ensure maximum comfort and good quality rest. Towels are Sheridan, and bathroom products are good quality, natural and free of harsh chemicals. There is a 40 inch flat screen TV (with Netflix & YouTube access) unlimited WIFI, a Blue Ray DVD player, a selection of DVDs and lots of reading material. The kitchen is fully fitted out with a kettle, toaster, microwave, full size oven, stove and fridge and plenty of cooking gear. Complimentary coffee (both ground and instant), tea, sugar, local honey, milk, locally baked sourdough bread in the freezer for toasting, instant porridge and a selection of fresh fruit are provided for your refreshment and an easy breakfast.
Whether you just need a hot shower and a comfy bed for the night, or can spend some time to soak in the ambience and enjoy what this seaside paradise truly has to offer, this is a very peaceful, tranquil and quiet space in which to relax. It feels very private and secluded, yet it's close to the creek and beach. Sawtell is an easy walk away, and has a wonderful friendly village ambience with huge fig trees, great cafes and restaurants, a refurbished heritage listed cinema, a pub and three clubs, a patrolled beach and a good variety of boutique shops. The popular Boambee Creek Reserve is just a block away and offers a lovely lush green riverside park-like atmosphere, undercover BBQs, stand-up paddle board and kayak hire and tours, excellent fishing and safe swimming. Toormina Gardens shopping centre is only 4 blocks away and has a Woolies, Coles, Aldi, K Mart etc. and plenty of takeaway food options. If you like walking, this is a perfect location where you never need to use a car.
