Barefoot Beach House - Meredith Lodging

Follow the path and emerge on the sweeping Pacific City beach to the astonishing sight of Haystack Rock from Barefoot Beach House, a lovely single-level ensconced in shore pines and sand. This light, airy home with vaulted ceilings wraps around a spacious outdoor deck with a hot tub where you can relax in the sun by day and bask under sunsets and starry skies by night.

You’ll love this home’s quality appointments, including brand new LVP flooring, custom built-ins, a rustic gas fireplace, plush furnishings, and plenty of updates.
The skylit, fully-equipped kitchen has an ample breakfast bar and gas range for easy meals around the dining table, which is surrounded by windows for woodland views. A spacious King suite has vaulted ceilings and a heated bathroom floor; there’s also a queen bedroom with its own private deck and a bunk room for the kids.

Set up to be your home away from home with board games, ping pong, cornhole boards, bikes, smart TV with premium channels, BBQ, comfy beds, and all the kitchen appointments for any gathering. Take advantage of the foot washing station after a stroll on the beach for you and your dog. Extra refrigerator and freezer offer space for your “catch of the day”.

A dune ramp makes beach access easy, and it’s also a short walk to fine dining at Meridian Restaurant or less formal fare (and award-winning beer) at the Pelican Brew Pub. The property is in a wonderful location, quiet neighborhood, very easy walk to the beach or various eateries and sites. The back deck is secluded and quiet and a wonderful place to spend afternoons or evenings. The home is warm and inviting and the beds are extremely comfortable. This is a location we plan to return to in the future.

The perfect place for a girls getaway. Loved that we could pop over to the beach and watch the sunset, walk to yummy food, and come home to relax in the hot tub. The master bed was comfy and there was plenty of extra towels, pillows, blankets!

Excellent property and location. The pictures are understated; this house was fantastic! Super comfortable beds and sofa, great condition home, wonderful hot tub, quiet neighborhood, spotless property with great essentials provided. The location is literally a three minute walk to the beach, local surf shop, brew pub and market. One mile from the best coffee in Pacific City too!! Best coastal property we have stayed in this far!!

Relaxing atmosphere

We enjoyed our visit to the Barefoot Beach house . The home was clean and comfortable. The deck and hot tub were a great place to relax. We loved being able to walk to the beach and local restaurants.

Perfect location and we absolutely loved the place! It was a great set up for us and the kids to have a fun getaway. Neighborhood was really quiet and located near shops and places to eat. The hot tub was our favorite part after a long day of exploring and hiking. It was super clean and well maintained. The house had everything we needed to enjoy cooking meals together and enjoying our time on vacation. Would 100% recommend!

Great home, conveniently located to the beach and Pelican Brewery. Lots of games, puzzles and stuff to keep kids busy. The bunk beds were a hit and the master bed was comfy.

Lovely beach stay

I stayed here with my husband and parents and it was perfect for us. It was quiet and a short walk to many things. We loved the paths around the neighborhood, the proximity to the beach, and the hot tub. Would def stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay with amenities beyond what we needed. Plenty of towels and cleaning supplies.5-7 minutes to lots of options for food and drinks.Stimulus Cold Brew with Chocolate cream. Pelican 5 beers for HHMeridian great for upscale dining and great viewBen & Jeff’s breakfast burritos were great, possibly shareable.It feels like we were the first residents to use the outdoor space in a while. Disappointed in the description of beach access. It’s a 1 minute walk to the wooden trail and then a couple more minutes, then down a dune. We preferred the 5 minute walk to Pelican brewery and then hit the beach.due to the residue on the furniture.

This house was great

Very clean! Very well stocked. Group of 6 and it was very comfy for all of us. We would definitely tent this house again. So close and easy to get to the beach.

Great location! House needs some love.

This house is in a great area! Walking distance to the beach, coffee, brewery, small store…we loved that. The house itself is cute, the description is accurate but note the queen bedroom has a door to the bathroom which is also intended for the bunk room, which accesses the bathroom off the kitchen. We were disappointed with the condition of the house. There was mold on the inside of the shower curtain, broken kitchen utensils, we found many dirty dishes in the cabinets that we washed before using. The dishwasher didn’t appear to work well and the disposal didn’t work at all. The hot tub foamed like crazy the first few times used, I don’t know if maintenance ever came out after we messaged the PM, we never saw anyone. Towels are thin motel style but beds were comfortable. The kitchen has an abundance of items. Note the coffee pot is a drip flat bottom, no filters are provided. Being hand soap

Perfect beachside home

Located adjacent to a beautiful beach that isn’t crowded. The house is behind a sizable dune that protects it from the wind and has a nice walking path leading from the backyard to the beach. The house is comfortable and provides plenty to do for 5 busy kids! Loved our stay!

Cute single story rental

I feel like it’s hard finding a single story rental at the coast, everything is multiple floors and stair cases. This house was perfect for our family and one toddler. We had a great time!
