Located amongst towering trees and mountain vistas, this lofted 2-bedroom, 2-bath cabin is the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of the city! Better known as ‘Double Eagle Bluff,’ this vacation rental is ideally situated in the White Mountain Estates and 5 miles from downtown Mountain View. Take in the tranquil surroundings by hiking around the property or admiring the breathtaking view from the deck. When the sun sets, light the fire pit and recount the day’s memories under the stars.

The Cormier’s weekend getaway

The cabin exceeded our expectation, especially the location. Beautiful cabin nestled in a gated community basically built on the side of the mountain with gorgeous view. The fireplace and the Bluetooth stereo with speakers throughout the cabin made listening to Christmas music and relaxing the best time spent at the cabin. The fire pit was just right with multiple seating and a wonderful view. Thank you very much for a longest to use your beautiful cabin. We will definitely be returning. God bless!

We had a great time. Everything was very nice. Only problem we had were wasp on the back deck but we tried to kill most of them, the view from the deck is beautiful. We will return in the future.

Beautiful scenery

The home was so comfortable and lovely. We enjoyed sitting on the deck watching the fog roll in! We were close to town so if we forgot anything, it didn't take long to get what we needed. The wildflowers were in bloom and the fireflies! So beautiful coming across the valley!

Clean cute cabin but

There was an infestation of Asian lady beetles. They were in the lights, on the ceiling. Falling in the beds in the loft. We loved the cabin but that infestation needs to be addressed. It appeared they are hiding out in the attic. We emailed the contact guy but he did not respond. Other than the beetles the cabin was clean.

Our stay was for our annual sibling trip for 3 couples. The cabin was perfect, spacious, beautiful views & conveniently located for all of us! Beds were comfortable, perfect amenities! Amazing property

Great getaway in the mountains

Really loved this place. The cabin and scenery are beautiful. Plenty of hiking/climbing right there. Firepit, expansive deck, lots of indoor living space. Perfect for a girls' trip. Close enough to everything so we didn't have to drive far, yet far enough away to be secluded. I wish there was a king size bed so I could come back with my husband!

All around great cabin with great view

The title for this property is spot-on: peaceful cabin with deck and mountain views. The location is great, just a few minutes from Anglers on the White River (which has gas, food, etc) and 10-15 minutes to Mountain View. The cabin itself is very well laid out, nice kitchen, very comfortable furniture and great furnishings. Beautiful view from the den onto the deck and the deck is very large and wonderful for taking it all in. The property is super peaceful and quiet at night. We really enjoyed our stay!

Mountain Get Away

Our family had a wonderful time at this beautiful cabin in Mountain View, it was hard to leave! The cabin had everything we needed to have a lovely vacation, including a wide variety of owner music to listen to on the speakers that ran through the whole house. Also, a perk was Bluetooth speakers on the exterior to listen to your own curated music. Mr. David was so helpful with all the questions we had about the cabin. Just a short drive to Blanchard Caverns, Gunner Pool, Mirror Lake, and Mirror Lake swimming hole. Highly recommend giving this place a stay!

Great location, peaceful, easy access, well kept, close proximity to parks and river

Enjoyed our stay, very quiet, deep blue sky with night time stars shining brightly. Proximity to National and State parks was good. Didn't go there for the Internet, however had no issues with it. Cooking in the kitchen worked out well and there are a few local seafood/steak restaurants along the river, all were good. Highly recommend and would consider staining again if we visit the area.

We had the most amazing stay in Mountain View!! The cabin was perfect for our family. We enjoyed all the amenities offered, along with the gorgeous views! We opted to stay in and cook for breakfast and dinners and had the best time. Mountain View was a fantastic place to visit! From the caves at Blanchard Springs to kayaking on the river (shout out to Sylamore Creek Cabin rental) to sitting around the fire pit each night - our trip was incredible and our only complaint was we didn’t stay longer!!The owner was so hospitable and was quickly available when the fire alarm needed new batteries. He was incredibly friendly and it was great to meet him, and hear a little more about the cabin. We will definitely plan another trip soon!
