Newly Remodeled on a Busy Street
Location on a loud busy street is the only reason I didn't give this property 5 stars. Check-in/Check-out was as easy as you hope - got the code by email to let myself in and literally never needed anything during my stay. It was great. The house itself has clearly been remodeled on the inside (not the outside, LOL), vinyl flooring, faucets & shower fixtures, furniture, etc. That's always nice to find. There are a few cosmetic finishes they didn't complete (jambliners on two windows weren't painted, for example), but don't affect the use of the space at all. The location is great for accessing everything in the two ports area, and the neighborhood itself seems quiet (never heard neighbors being loud, etc.) and safe - but it is right on Hwy2/53 - so one of the bedrooms and the living room each have a window and that street is BUSY. Definitely needed to turn up the volume on the TV/my music speaker in the evening when I was back at the place to easily hear it over the street noise. It's the only drawback to the place. I was there to hike all the parks in the area, so I was gone all day and it didn't really matter that much to me. The bed was comfortable, I slept great there. Would have been a perfect 5 stars for me if it was just a block off the highway.
