Loved the place and location to restaurants. I wasn't happy with parking and didn't have direct access to the beautiful ocean and beaches.

When you open the door, your first view is of the ocean. Spectacular view! Enjoyed the full length balcony with plenty of seating. The rental was exceptionally clean and comfortable. Easy access to the beach and within walking distance of the boardwalk, shopping and restaurants. Checkin was easy. No issues! Highly enjoyed our time at Carolina Beach!

Be careful to read the “ parking is best for a small vehicle “ . I missed that part in the description of the property. Having a Ford truck …parking was nearly impossible. I’m not exaggerating to say that the parking spot for this rental is tight. The condo was nice though.

Thank you for your feedback about Blue Oceanfront Retreat. We’re sorry the parking was too tight for your truck — the listing does note the space is best for a small vehicle, but we’ll make that clearer with additional photos and measurements so future guests can plan accordingly. Glad you enjoyed the condo overall and thank you for staying with us.

The place was good, very Spacious. House was fairly well stocked. The only real problem was the parking was very difficult. I can imagine it’s real difficult in the summertime. I don’t think a pickup truck would work there as the turns are too tight. Not the fault of the house or the host just nature of the beast.

Thank you so much for the feedback! We're glad you enjoyed the spaciousness and our stocking. You're absolutely right about the parking—it's definitely one of the trickier aspects of the location, especially during peak season. We appreciate your understanding that it's a limitation across the island rather than something we can easily change. Your insight about larger vehicles is helpful for us to keep in mind. We'd love to have you back, and thanks again for being such a thoughtful guest!

Condo is definitely on the lower end. Shower curtains could be changed out or washed they were kind of gross. They need to put that this condo parking is for smaller vehicles ONLY at the very top of the description. I had a Yukon and could not park in the designated location.

The beach was not as good because we were on the 1st floor. But we still enjoyed the sound of the ocean. The space was extremely clean. I especially enjoyed the cooking materials. Pots and pans were excellent, nothing stuck to them like some of the cheaper cookware. The parking was a challenge but we got through it. We were driving a ford explorer anything bigger for the area we parked in wouldn’t have worked.Overall we really enjoyed our stay and we would absolutely stay there again!

Cute little spot on the water

The entire home was cleaned and smelled welcoming. When we got the keys and parking passes the hotel staff was incredibly nice and gentle. The unit was very nice, overlooking the water. Everything was squeaky clean. The rooms were a good size with streaming services available. My only complaint is that the parking situation is pretty tricky. We had a huge Suburban and struggled to get out of our parking spots. Overall, we really enjoyed this place! Also easy access to aminities.
