Light filled, four bedroom, 2½ bath (plus outdoor shower), fully air-conditioned house with fabulous close-in water views and steps from swimmable private dock. The house is surrounded by water for fantastic panoramic saltwater views and set on a promontory. It also has wonderful gardens and a grove of cedar trees.
This lovely home overlooks Meeting House Pond whose glimmering salt waters flow to outer Nauset beach, Chatham and beyond. Nearly all windows front tidal meetinghouse pond capturing its awesome dawns and silver moon ascents. Watch fishing boats depart, ducks glide by, hear flocks of geese and gulls call out. Radiant light gilds each room lending special ambiance to a perfect summer retreat. Treasures of this Cape Cod jewel are too numerous to mention but here are a few:
It’s so pleasant to breakfast, looking at the water, in its sun-drenched country kitchen with attached greenhouse or enjoy the open, waterfront dining room or breakfast on the patio overlooking the water
Relax in its serene living room and gaze at the water and enjoy your surroundings. Dream in the pristine master bedroom to the lull of lapping tides and enjoy the gorgeous water view. We are longtime part time residents of the Cape. We love the friendliness and extraordinary beauty of the Cape and especially Orleans where three generations of my family have lived. This town has everything... ocean and bay beaches, beautiful town landings and multiple swimable ponds plus great restaurants and shopping.
Why they chose this property
Great water views from virtually every room and from the outdoor patio. There is nothing more peaceful and charming than looking at the water and watching the boats slowly come and go. In addition this house offers a place to swim or boat right from your own dock! Located on a private road yet easily walk-able to restaurants, home made ice cream and shopping this house offers the best of everything.
What makes this property unique
We fell in love with our house because of it's beautiful panoramic, but unusually private, water views which you experience from virtually everywhere.. indoors and out. You're almost surrounded by water! We also love the house's open floor plan, comfortable, easy layout and many large windows filling it with light.
