We loved our stay at Rock Harbor Retreat. The open floor plan invites conversation and togetherness while having defined spaces for living, dining and cooking. There is a screened-in porch and lovely deck for dining or just hanging out. This house has cozy and lovely decor, is clean, has comfortable beds and couch, a fully-equipped kitchen, two large tiled showers (and an outdoor shower), beautiful flower gardens, privacy and easy access to bay and odean beaches, shopping and nature activities. What more could you ask for! We strongly recommend this house for a special Cape Cod stay!

Our family had such an amazing vacation staying at this beautiful home for the week! The house is perfectly situated near beaches with spectacular sunsets, family fun activities including whale watching, restaurants and shopping in town. It is very peaceful and has a stunning garden on the property. Nicki is absolutely lovely and is super accommodating. We had everything we needed for the week, plus more. All the fans provided kept the house very cool during the day, even during late summer. We are looking forward to making more memories in the future on the Cape at this home! Thanks again Nicki and Warren!

The cape house was a great place to stay. Location was very convenient to downtown Orleans and the beaches plus rail trail. Kitchen was fully stocked and beds were comfortable. Would stay here again when visiting the Cape.

Our stay was amazing! House was perfect. Private location but close enough to walk to town! Grounds were peaceful and quiet. Kitchen was fully equipped for us to cook most our meals. Central to nauset and Marconi beach and of course the sundae school!! Week was perfect!

Cape Cod charm at its best

This is our third return trip to this beautiful home. My boys love going to Skaket Beach everyday that the weather permits. The house is convenient to Skaket, to Rock Harbor, and to town. The owner could not possibly be any more lovely or accommodating. We are so glad to have found this wonderful home away from home.

The house and gardens are lovingly and beautifully maintained and so comfortable. There is great lighting for reading and lots of great books. And, while it was so quiet and peaceful, we loved the proximity to town, the harbor and beach and the bike trail.

A beautiful home base for our vacation

Nikki was a gracious host who welcomed us to her home tucked within a beautiful garden. It provided ample space for relaxation and family gatherings. The kitchen had everything we needed to make dinners in the evening, the table was perfect for family games, the cross breezes through the windows created a comfortable atmosphere, and we even laid on the upper deck and watched the Perseids one evening.

2024 Vacation to Cape

The house was beautiful and was exactly as advertised. It was a hot week, but the fans provided by the owner made all the difference. We enjoyed the privacy offered by the house, being tucked back away from the road and with the woods in the backyard. The recent renovations were exceptional.

Perfect Cape retreat

This property is quintessential Cape Cod! It is so tastefully designed and decorated. It sits back in its own garden oasis - removed from the road and beautifully landscaped. The house is perfect for a family visiting the Cape. It’s ideally located close to town and close to Skaket Beach / Rock Harbor. The owners are wonderful and very friendly.

Wonderful Stay!

Our party of three adults had a lovely time. The house can be a bit warm in the late summer but the fans make it much better. The house was clean and had everything we needed! Great location for walking to town.

Spacious and beautiful home, close to town

We'd recommend this rental for the following reasons. 1. The location was great - you can walk to town and easily access the bike path. 2. The house is very private and quiet, and almost feels like a tree house in the forest. 3. The inside of the house is very comfortable - plenty of space for our family of five. 4. The owner was very pleasant and quick to respond to any questions we had.

Impeccable and charming

Nikki and Warrens home is a vacation renters dream. A extremely well cared for home that is incredibly Charming and impeccable clean. gorgeous updated kitchen. Absolutely Gorgeous gardens and grounds. We loved the detailed woodwork trim, the bookcases and wainscoting throughout. The gleaming hardwood floors! The screened porch was ideal to sit with a morning Coffee. The beds were all comfortable (and I’m a bed snob!) the upstairs deck felt like being in a tree house! Super convenient area, close to town and various beaches. Absolutely zero issues. Nikki was terrific! We’ll be back!! Thanks Nikki!

Perfect family getaway

This was our second stay at this lovely home. Beautiful and well-maintained gardens, and the interior had the perfect set up for our family and au pair. With the parents’ and kids’ bedrooms upstairs, and the third bedroom downstairs, it was the perfect amount of privacy for all. Also loved the screened-in porch and second floor deck! The house is in a great location, close to Rock Harbor, Skaket Beach, and downtown Orleans.

Perfect home away from home

Nicki and Warren are very gracious hosts. Nicki called on the evening of our arrival to make sure we were settled in and that everything had gone well. The house is itself is just as described. It is tastefully designed and decorated. Child proofing was easy. The gardens and landscaping are stunning. The location is perfect with easy access to town, Skaket Beach, and Rock Harbor. The house is located on a main road, however it is set back from the road so it is very quiet and idyllic. I look forward to returning again next year.

Amazing stay at Rock Harbor Retreat!

We had a fantastic getaway at Rock Harbor Retreat! The house was immaculate, clean and beautifully decorated, and the gardens and grounds were well manicured! The kitchen had everything you'd need...microwave, dishes, silverware, toaster, coffeemaker etc. The house is very close to downtown, with plenty of great restaurants and shops and the beach is just a short distance. We're definitely planning another visit! Thank you so much for a wonderful getaway!

Lovely home and trip

Nicki is very communicative. EV charging within walking distance (across from Sparrow cafe). Bike trail and bike rentals nearby as well. Bike trail (kid friendly) is amazing.

Beautiful garden retreat walking distance to town!

The house is gorgeous! From the comfortable beds to tasteful decor, it is a 5 star experience. Nicki was a pleasure to work with! Did I mention we had baby bunnies, birds galore to entertain us? The garden is beautiful! We had a great week!

Solid as a Rock

Terrific rental. Clean and well appointed. Excellent location -- an easy walk to the center of town and close to stores and restaurants. Quiet enclave. Superior communication with hosts. Really, everything anyone could ask for. Across the board, we had a great stay and would return happily.

We love the Cape and vacationed here with our family for many years before buying our home in Orleans. We love so many things the Cape offers: the beautiful beaches for swimming, relaxing on the sand and great walks along the shore, the delicious seafood available and so many more things. It's a fun place to explore and we learn something new each time we come down.

We looked at many properties before settling on Rock Harbor Retreat. My husband and I walked in the front door, looked around and said, "This is the one!" The house felt like a vacation home and conveyed a sense of relaxation. It felt like a place we could relax, have fun with our family and friends and enjoy for many years.

この宿泊施設の特徴

Through the years we have enjoyed the location, being so close to town, but yet in a private setting. It is also very convenient to have so many services available nearby. We find just about everything we need right here in Orleans. The milder Cape weather and longer growing season than iwhere we live in Concord, New Hampshire allows us to enjoy a much longer gardening season.
