We give this property excellent in all phases of our stay.Owner was a very gracious and thoughtful host. Beautiful home with exquisite views of lake.We loved sitting on the porch, swimming and our Family used kayaks and canoe. Each room had such creative welcoming style., equipped kitchen etc. This was one of our most relaxing vacations and hope to visit here again. Thankyou Susan for all your welcoming touches that has created such beautiful memories .

In a word, fantastic. as it was the previous two times I was there. The cottage is charming, clean, stocked with everything you can want. Susan is on property and always available. the private dock is great with Kayaks, and canoe and everything you would want to enjoy the lake and, finally, the banana bread in the welcome basket is amazing! If it wasn't so popular I'd go more times each Summer! David n.

Beautiful spot by the lake

This is a lovely cottage right by the lake. It was perfect for our little kids to go swimming and kayaking. The morning sun is gorgeous. The inside of the cottage was perfect for our needs. Extremely clean and had everything we needed!

Beautiful Cottage on the Lake

Our family had a great stay! The view of the water cant be beat. The cottage had plenty of room for the four of us to stay comfortably. The cottage was in perfect condition and came with everything we needed. I would highly recommend and we look forward to staying again!

Everything about the cottage was perfect for our graduation weekend and family get together. Susan thought of every detail and made it a home away from home. We will definitely be back. The beauty and peacefulness of waking up to the sun on the lake will remain in my memory. Even the cloudy mornings and the light rain on the roof were delightful.

Amazing!

This cottage is a little slice of heaven. Set on the lake with multiple outdoor gathering spots and fishing off the dock or from provided kayaks/canoe, it is perfect for true R&R. Susan is an amazing host, is responsive and helpful with any questions or needs, and the house reflects how much love and care it recieves. It is spotless, beautifully decorated, well-stocked, very comfortable, and exactly as the pictures show. This was our second visit and can't wait to come again!

Perfect, cozy and quaint

Susan was the most warm and thoughtful host! She was there when we checked in and left us a lovely welcome basket! We were three couples traveling for baseball playoffs. The weather was dreary, but we all still enjoyed the view and the fireplace made it very cozy! The kitchen was absolutely charming, felt like a step back in time. Everything that needed to be was modern and comfortable, while still maintaining old world charm. Clean, organized, cheery - everything you would want in a rental!

From the moment you park your car you won’t be disappointed! Charming, beautifully appointed no detail left undone. And the view, absolutely stunning. The front porch perfect place for breakfast as the sun comes up. Fishing, boating perfect size lake. Quiet and peaceful serenity at is best. Susan is wonderful as a host/owner. So thoughtful baked us banana bread, homemade jam and a bottle of wine awaited us. We will be back

Wow!!!

Our little house was magical!!! We couldn’t have asked for a better place to be! The lake, the birds, the ducks, the canoe ride and our welcome basket went above and beyond our expectations!!! There was no doubt about this charming home being perfectly clean. The fireplace was warm and cozy and the scattered flower arrangements were so welcoming!!! We can’t wait to come back!!!! ❤️

PERFECT COTTAGE, PERFECT WEEKEND

I have stayed in many rentals over the years and we have always had nice experiences however, our experience with the cottage in Coventry was off the charts...EXCELLENT. We were in town for UConn's Parents Weekend and opted for a rental this time vs a hotel. So happy we did! The cottage was EXCEPTIONALLY clean, warm, so cozy with wonderful little touches everywhere. As someone who likes to entertain and host guests, I notice and appreciate ALL the little details- and there were many( and all very special). We originally had concerns over only one bathroom (with 5 of us staying), but it was a non issue. The bedrooms were a good size, Comfortable beds/bedding, plenty of towels, and conveniences like toiletries, coffee pods and a fully stocked kitchen if you choose to cook in (we did 2 nights). We loved the porch overlooking the beautiful lake, took advantage of the kayaks and bird watching ;) Only 10 minutes to campus and my kids (18, 20 and 21 years old) loved the experiences as much as we did! The owner Susan was LOVELY and was so kind with excellent response time. We so enjoyed talking with her and hearing the history of the cottage. And even though she is on property she was wonderful with giving us our space and privacy however, we are a chatty family and LOVED our conversations with her!) I would rent here again in a HEARTBEAT. You can just feel the positivity on this property, its a special place for sure.

Susan is an amazing host and her cottage has everything you could possibly need, on top of being completely charming. This is our second stay, and we will be back. The best is waking up to the lake, whether it is sunny or cloudy. Both versions are beautiful and invoke a sense of peace and joy.

Wonderful vacation home
