Cozy chalet located on Okemo Mountain Resort within a mile of the base lodge and a half mile from The VAST. Located on a private Cul de sac, this 2 bedroom, 1 bath sleeps 6 and the private setting allows for a night of serenity after a fun filled day on the mountain. Whether you ski, snowboard, snow shoe, golf, ride snowmobiles, ride the mountain roller coaster, or just get away from life and chill, you are sure to enjoy your getaway at The BriWi Chalet in Ludlow Vermont.

Completely renovated in 2024 including new carpet throughout. Also based on renter reviews, I had updated the kitchen and installed a dishwasher in 2020. Please inquire about discounted long stays (more than 7 days). Pricing calculator may not correctly display long term discounts. For the winter season that runs from November 15th through April 15th, i am looking for a seasonal rental. Please inquire.

Really nice unit, with great access to Okemo.

Everything set up well for a great trip to Okemo - clean, nice neighborhood, great owner and all you need at a great rate.

Sue and Scott were absolutely amazing renters. Need I say more? They were quiet, Nice, friendly, super communicative and very respectful. I never had any issues with them during their stay and the condition of the apartment after they left was perfect. I would look forward to having them again if the opportunity comes up

Terrific find. Clean, practical, and convenient

Rental was exactly as described in the listing. Very clean and practical for my wife and 2 kids. Owner also knowledgable of area and was helpful throughout the stay. Looking forward to staying there again during next years ski season. Very convenient to both Okemo and the town restaurants.

Cozy getaway to Okemo

Willie's home provided us the perfect stay over the New Years weekend. We stayed comfortably in this home with 6 adults. 5 minutes from Okemo, close to town, water pressure was strong and the heat was warm. Great place if you're looking for a cozy no frills weekend getaway. Willie is responsive and a pleasure to work with.

Just what we needed

Nothing fancy, but clean and functional. Everything you need is included in the place, bunk beds were great for kids, queen bed was fine for adults. The location is fantastic for the drive to Okemo, less than a 5 minute drive to clock tower base and no need to go out on main roads to get there. If you are looking for an economical place to crash after a day of skiing/boarding, it’s perfect.

Prefect Getaway Cabin

The cabin is just what you need for your weekend getaway. Willie is amazing and very helpful. Had a great time and highly recommend it!

Beautiful location

Apartment location is great and communicating with William was quick and he is really helpful owner. Cleanliness was not as expected and bedroom light switch so out of place (right next to main door) couldn't figure out where the switch was until next morning and that too accidentally. It was annoying. There are other little annoying things like sitting on toilet seat was really uncomfortable and I am only 5'9" space issue is because of cramped up washer and dryer taking up the space. Another annoying thing was couldn't lock bathroom door... With 10 year old kid, we had to tell each other not to open bathroom door. There are other minor annoying issues like that. But we visited the place to see fall foliage and it was beautiful experience. William suggested few places and those were great too.

Adequate spot at a fair price & ok location

Willie is a great host and will answer any questions you have promptly. I wasn't thrilled with the place though. The price was fair enough, but I did feel there were some amenities that could have been made better. For one, it holds six people but I had to do dishes constantly even with only 4 of us, as there were only three place settings. There is no counter space to speak of. The lights in the main room and master bedroom are on the same switch which was cumbersome. The shower took us quite some time to figure out for some reason, you only turn the knob a very short distance to get hot water, I'm used to the opposite. Finally, the toilet....I'm not a big guy but my knees were right up tight against the washer/dryer combo which is well under a foot away from the front of the toilet. It seems the room could've been arranged better somehow - I really can't imagine how anyone over 5'9" could comfortably sit on that toilet! We made a joke out of it as it was just me and my 3 boys. There were some dripping or cracking noises right above the master bed every 30 seconds that distracted me a lot from sleeping, but probably wouldn't bother most people. Originally I had filters on my search for *only* places that had hot tubs and this came up, so they may have been changed - there is a hot tub here but not for guests. Willie kindly helped us find a Jackson Gore lodge we could go use at $15/person and use their pool/tub but it was a lot of walking in the cold to get to the pool and back. Finally, I was expecting to be able to walk to the slopes, being this close, but it's not possible, you have to drive down the mountain to get to the parking lot, then walk back up to the hill, so really might as well stay off the hill in town somewhere unless you're looking to be in trees (there's no view otherwise). It's the basement floor of a little A-frame cabin in a *quiet* location, but I'm not sure if I'd go back. Willie did a fine job and even worked with me to get the dates down right so we could stay there when we needed to and avoid the holiday. I just feel some minor tweaking could help this place a whole lot.

Cozy apartment

Cozy and comfortable, and so close to Okemo ski Mt, beds were comfortable and it was very clean. Went out and ate at Sam’s steakhouse one night, and the rest of the meals were made at the house.

Cozy little space. Suits our needs of having a place to crash after we spend the day on the slopes. The location is perfect. 4.5 minute drive to Okemo. Only improvement he could make is switch the washer dryer with the bathroom sink. So people have a bit more room when using the bathroom. Or maybe turn the toilet 90 degrees.

Perfect for two night stay with my Grandsons

Very comfortable and clean two bedroom. Extremely close to Okemo. Willie was excellent "landlord" easily available with the minor problems we had.

Perfect for a family of 4!

Couldn't have been better. The space is just right for a family of 4. Willie is a great host and makes sure you have everything you need. Having a washer dryer so you can wash the ski stuff between days is a huge bonus. The place is a short drive from the Okemo base and easy to find...though if it's muddy, make sure you have 4WD! We had some unseasonably warm weather and the dirt road got a bit treacherous with all the mud! Thanks for a great stay, Willie! We'll hopefully be back!

Nice Family rental

Wonderful place for a single family. We rented this place for the fall trip. Looked exactly as it is in the picture and the owner is a very good man. William was engaging and walked us through the entire rental process with patience. Since this is the first time I rented a vacation home, it was very helpful. Nice place, clean, great privacy and comfortable amenities. I loved the location, away from the heavy traffic down the hill, but not too far from all the stores if you need anything. Looking forward to our next trip. Great location, just couple of minutes to the Okemo Base lodge.

Nice little place

This is a perfect place for a small family to stay. This is our second time staying there. Willie, the owner, is very accommodating. While it's not fancy, it is comfortable, clean and close to the mountain.

Perfect for a no frills ski getaway with friends!

Willie was very easy to get a hold of and made sure we had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The property was exactly as pictured and clean. Everything we needed to access for our weekend was within a 5 minute drive of the apartment, including the base of the mountain, restaurants, bars, and off-mountain ski rentals. We enjoyed our stay!

Great Unit for the hard core skier!!

Great unit and very clean!!! Unit is close to Okemo mountain!! I was able to stay at the unit for a week with my wife, 1 year old daughter and father inlaw and we had enough room to feel comfortable. the beds were clean and comfortable. The owner extends himself looking to make your stay as great as possible. Hoping to get this unit again on my next trip to Okemo!!!

Great location

Perfect!

This place was perfect for our family. Willie was a pleasure to deal with, and was extremely helpful, kind, and keen to make our stay easy and relaxing. The property was clean and spacious, with plenty of storage (vital for a skiing holiday with kids!), and had everything we needed, including comfy beds, effective heating and hot water. We had a super view into the woods, and loved watching the stars at night. It took us about 5-7 minutes to get to the Okemo car parks (I was going carefully, given the snow!), and a similar time to get into the main town for great restaurants. We had a fabulous time, and hope to return soon. Thanks Willie (& B)!!

I have been a skier all of my life and have spent most winters up in Vermont with my family. Now I continue that tradition with my daughter and am up here all winter. I have recently started to snowboard and love to either ski or board with my daughter and friends.
