Girls Weekend Away

We loved this cute little living area. Had everywhere we needed. The surroundings are beautiful. We will definitely be back. After this weekend we've decided to take an annual trip each year!

Really enjoyed our stay. Great location for going to the wineries. Host Debbie was very nice and met us at the house to go over everything. Apartment is perfect for 4 people because of a bathroom next to each bedroom. We especially enjoyed eating on the deck and building a fire in the fire ring in the evenings. Quiet and peaceful.

We loved our stay! The unit was spacious and extremely clean with all the comforts of home. The location was perfect, and Debby was a wonderful host. I enjoyed morning coffee on the deck and was blessed to see a hummingbird, cute squirrel with a nut, and a mama and baby deer. It was so peaceful and lovely. We loved everything about our stay!

We loved our stay in Ovid at this lovely apartment in the Finger Lakes. The location could not be more ideal - you are close to both Seneca and Cayuga Lakes, wineries, restaurants, and hiking trails (including the beautiful Watkins Glen State Park). The apartment has everything you need and made for a wonderful place to come home to after a day of exploring. We'd love to stay here again!

Wonderful weekend

Our accommodation was perfect for two couples for four nights. Very comfortable well equipped cottage in the quiet countryside with easy access to numerous wineries and golf. Having two bathrooms is ideal. We enjoyed using the BBQ.

What a beautiful and lovely house. If you are looking for a relaxing getaway, this is it. It is equip with the basic amenities, clean and comfortable. Great host! (Thank you Debbie). Perfect location to do day tripper around the finger lakes. Highly recommended. Will stay there again.

This cottage was perfect for our needs. Location was good for traveling to all the lakes. The house was well equipped with all the necessities and was very clean. So neat this was a former church which is now soon to be three cottages. We enjoyed the fire pit in the evening with our friends. Will definitely stay here again!

Cornell graduation visit

After having an issue with another rental property canceling my reservation, I was lucky to find Debbie‘s rental! Even though it was close to 40 minutes outside of campus, it was well worth the drive. The place was very clean, easy to find, quiet, and a great place to head back to for a good night sleep after a long day. Debbie was easy to reach and responded quickly. Thanks again for a great weekend!!

Girls weekend trip in Ovid

I was a little skeptical about staying at an old church from back in the 1890’s but I haven’t sleep that good in a while! Super peaceful and quiet area. It could have been stocked with a few more things but overall it is a beautiful property. We would love to come back sometime soon!!

Central Location

The unit was very nice and clean. Adequate for two couples. The owners were friendly and available nearby. There was nothing we needed. Just wish there was a regular coffee maker opposed to a Keurig. The outside of the building needs work, but seems to be a work in progress. Most importantly the inside was clean and comfortable. Location is perfect especially for wineries on both Lakes.

Even Better Than Expected!!

The accommodations were IMMACULATE! We were met by Debbie, our Host, upon arrival who gave us a detailed description of the property and answered any questions we had. This was about a 20 minute drive to all the wineries and breweries along the East side of Seneca Lake. It is a quiet (except for birds, early morning faint Rooster cry and occasional clacking of Amish/Mennonite buggies on the road!) country setting in a wooded setting and a perfect place to begin and end each day. Based on her recommendation we ate Breakfast at the Uptown Diner that was delicious and unbelievable affordable so make sure you visit it. For future return trips this will be our 1st choice!

Cute apartment/cottage central to 2 lakes

We came to cycle by the Finger Lakes, stop at wineries and breweries, and this place was central to Seneca and Cayuga lakes. The apartment was roomy and had 2 bathrooms which was great. It's in the woods so we saw quite a few bugs, spiders in the apartment. Some household items needed replenishing, like wraps, foil etc. The hosts were awesome, however, and unfortunately the last day I had a flat tire, and they came to get us and our bikes which I'm grateful for! Overall a good place if you want to get a feel for the Finger Lakes region.

Great Layout for 2 couples

When I made this reservation I received a confirmation from a third party (The Evolve Team). It concerned me. All worked out and the place and host were fine. But I will pay more attention to who I'm booking through as this usually causes more work/problems if there is an issue. The host follows the third party protocols (e.g., she must meet you when you arrive, and then she will grant you access). The accomodations are basic, but the layout works well for two couples for a short stay who are okay with driving to local sites.
