About the home
"Warley Retreat" is a lovely apartment in central Cowes with stunning water views from the balcony and access to a shared indoor swimming pool and spa. Some of the many features of this lovely home are detailed below:
Indoor Areas
The open plan kitchen/dining/living room (with smart TV & DVD player) leads out to the large balcony. Off the living area are the Master bedroom with WIR and ensuite (with bath, shower and toilet), two other bedrooms (each with BIR), the main bathroom (with shower and toilet) and a laundry.
Outdoor Areas
The apartment is accessed via a lift from the car park or lobby (there are also stairs). The large semi-covered balcony (with outdoor setting and BBQ) provides stunning views over the Cowes beach. The apartment is one of 12 apartments that has access to the indoor swimming pool (6.5m x 2.7m), 6-seater spa and toilets/change rooms, which are located in a separate adjoining building accessed via a central courtyard. There is one car space in the secure shared underground car park.
The apartment complex has security cameras outside the building and in the lift and stairwell.
The communal pool & spa are managed by a 3rd party Body Corporate. Please talk to us about any implications for the pool & spa use, heating, etc.
Kitchen
The fully appointed kitchen is equipped with cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, Nespresso coffee machine, electric milk frother, kettle, etc. plus a double sink, large fridge, and electric cook top and oven.
Heating/Cooling Systems
The open plan kitchen/dining/living room has a wall mounted reverse cycle airconditioning unit, bedrooms 1 & 2 have ceiling fans, there are electric blankets for the two Queen beds and there are wall mounted heaters and portable fans in all three bedrooms.
Bedroom Configuration
This home has 4 beds, accommodating up to 6 guests:
Bedroom 1: One Queen bed
Bedroom 2: One Queen bed
Bedroom 3: One set of Single bunks
Linen
It is common in the region for some linen to be provided for bookings, and some linen to be available as an optional extra. By default, a booking at this home does not include optional linen (top & bottom sheets, bath towels and pillowcases). What is included are doonas (quilts) with covers, pillows without covers, tea towels, hand towels and bathmats. If you would like the optional linen included in your booking, please let us know, including which beds you would like it provided for. The additional cost would be a one-off charge of $30 per bed (some sites add a service fee to these costs) - and we prefer 7 days' notice prior to your arrival to get that arranged.
Peak Periods
Please note that during the peak summer period and other peak times, check in times are set as 3pm (unless by prior arrangement). Please also note that if you avail of the optional linen hire over these times, it may involve linen being left out but beds not being made up.
Functions, Celebrations and Schoolies
Please note that the home is not suitable for celebrations, parties or large events. The home also does not take bookings over Schoolies.
