Such a lovely cottage!

Our family has created such wonderful memories in this lovely cozy cottage! Kelly has thought of everything. I cannot think of a single thing missing during our 4 day stay at the cottage. Photos do not do it justice. We sure wish we had more time to enjoy the seals and the beach. We will surely come back again!

Rustic but comfortable

The cottage generally met our needs. We prefer having the bathroom on same floor as the bedrooms. The kitchen is a little disorganized and we were surprised by the various foods in the cupboards and fridge. The place looked very lived in.

Not What We Expected!

This property is definitely not senior or kid friendly with that steep staircase. We had my 90 year old mother with us and I was terrified when she got up to use the bathroom that she would fall down the stairs. Very annoying that the bedrooms were upstairs and the bathroom downstairs. Should have a more in-depth description of the layout. Also, we were very uncomfortable with the amount of food someone left in the fridge, not to mention personal toiletries left around. We were not aware until we got there that the water was not drinkable, therefore quite surprised when there was less than a quarter amount in the water cooler. What was out of anyone’s control was the fact that we had no power when we returned from the wedding and was still out when we got up. Therefore we did not get any use from the cottage on Sunday and were gone by 8 am. So we tried to clean up as much as possible, not easy without power.
