Come to Sunset Bay Cottage and enjoy fun activities all year round.
Four seasons, three bedrooms and two bathrooms lakefront cottage. The cottage has been renovated but has retained its rustic charm. The futures include:

You don't need to leave the cottage to go to the Cineplex; you will make popcorn and enjoy the movie night with your friends and family in the comfort of the spacious living room.

Keurig Duo. Coffee and coffee pods.
The large main bedroom has a king-size bed, night tables, a mirror and a tall dresser, a comfortable recliner/rocker chair, his and her closets, and a 55" screen TV.
You can have your favourite drink at night, relax and watch the stars in the beautiful sunroom.
Two spare bedrooms each have a Queen size bed, two nightstands and a closet.
Near the bedrooms is a modern bathroom with a vanity, toilet and shower.
Near the sitting/dining area is the second full bathroom with a double sink vanity, a toilet and a bathtub.
The sitting area has a patio door to the spacious deck.
A propane BBQ, patio dining set and a hot tub are on the deck.

A couple of steps down, there is a U-shape dock.
There are three kayaks, three life jackets and a pedal boat.
Enjoy the beautiful, deep, swimmable waterfront with numerous water activities: fishing, swimming, boating, kayaking, paddling, suntanning, or relaxing on the dock with your favourite drink.
You will never get bored at the Sunset cottage.
Within a 15-minute drive, there are artisan villages of Calabogie and White Lake, where you will discover beautiful parks, beaches, hiking trails, Calabogie Highlands Golf Resort, farmer's markets, local eateries, wineries, wood-fired pizzerias and Oh-el-la Cafe, the most fabulous cafe in the area.
You can satisfy your adrenaline at the Calabogie Motorsports Park or the numerous ATV trails.
In the spring and fall, you will enjoy beautiful fall/spring colours, explore numerous nature trails, go bird watching, hike, bike, and have a spectacular view from The Famous Eagles Nest lookout.
In the Winter, you will enjoy snowshoeing, skating, skiing, snowboarding and tubing at The famous Calabogie Peaks Ski Resort.

Summer Vacation on Sunset Bay

This was our second year at this cottage and we are going back again next summer. What a fantastic vacation. The cottage, lake and surrounding area are just perfect for a fun summer holiday. Everybody in our three generation family raves about this experience. And once again, Olga was a superb host.

White Lake Wknd

Delightful with great hosts! Morning paddle, daily swim, evening fire and hot-tub. Everything was just as described. Only minor improvement suggested would be an easier way out of the Lake for our dog who needed help up the dock ladder.

Beautiful Gateway

We all had an amazing experience staying at this home. All everyone had to say was how gorgeous and amazing this place was. We were wowed by so many things, even to the details of the light fixtures and the area rugs. There has been a lot of thought out into this place from a comfort, convenience and décor perspective. And it was very clean. The view was also incredible and we all really enjoyed our stay and looking forward to coming back in the summer.

A spacious and peaceful getaway with all the amenities.

The perfect getaway for a small group of friends. Lots of space, tons of amenities. Olga pays attention to all of the tiny details. We are 2 couples in our 50s/60s and enjoyed the peacefulness of the cottage, the tranquility of the area and the attention to detail from an incredible host. If you are looking to get away and relax and enjoy the beauty of your surroundings, this cottage should be high on your list. Thank you Olga!

An enjoyable week at a pretty cottage!

Our group (6 Adults) enjoyed a week at this pretty cottage on Sunset Bay. One small refrigerator and only a couple of free shelves in a small kitchen cupboard was not adequate storage space for our group. We also abstained from using the hot tub, none of us having prior experience with maintenance and had only had the pleasure of enjoying using one… a small disappointment. Some discrepancies around information concerning what to do about the garbage (guest book states to leave it in the bins at the side and online info. states guests are responsible for disposable and are not to leave it on the property) and what it means that Netflix is free of charge (we were not able watch anything on Netflix without signing in to one of our accounts and accounts are not free of charge). Fishing and the swimming was fun! The grounds and the cottage are vey nice.

Our Week on Sunset Bay

Our three generation family had a superb week at Olga's cottage on Sunset Bay, White Lake. The house is spacious, well equipped and comfortable. The beds were comfy and the quality furniture in the living room and sunroom made us feel right at home. The perfect cleanliness drew rave reviews from the ladies - best of any rental we have experienced. The perfectly functioning dishwasher and clothes washer/dryer were big hits with our busy, active family. The grounds are attractive and well maintained. The many decks, fire pit, Muskoka chairs and docks made for enjoyable outdoor activities. Fishing off the dock thrilled the kids and parents alike with a wide variety of fish being pulled out and fried for dinner. The dock easily accommodated our motorboat with good water depth and easy access. The kayaks provided by the host also got a good work out. Boat launch ramp, marina and nice restaurants are within easy distance. Sunset Bay is sure an appropriate name for the area - man were those sunsets superb to watch while sitting on the dock sipping a coffee or glass of wine! And last but surely not least of the features was the wonderful host. Olga was communicative, attentive and gracious. Wow!! Our week on White Lake ended too fast. Now everybody in our family is talking about going back next summer. Peter G.
