A fully stocked kitchen will allow you to create meals to be enjoyed on the beautiful deck on stilts over Cowichan bay or enjoy its famous restaurants, pub, ice cream store & an abundance of local shops are all within walking distance.
2 bedrooms flank the main living area giving guests the utmost in privacy. The 3rd bedroom is in a completely separate guest house accessed from either the front or back deck, w\private deck & second BBQ, The property has We have 3 security cameras, one mounted on the front of the house facing the dock, one mounted on the guesthouse facing the front door of the cottage and the final one mounted on a piling looking back at the house to watch the tidal changes. This last camera can be disabled during your stay. These cameras are used for security purposes only & do not impede on the enjoyment of private spaces in the home.

Beautiful Cozy Cottage

This comfortable, cozy, colourful little home right on the water is the perfect place to get away. Conveniently located next to a market, bakery, cafe, and restaurants, you are in the right place to explore Cowichan and its neighbouring towns and nature.

Location was great, house was very nice, beds a bit small. The silverware however was not washed prior to being put back in the drawers - caked with dried food - so we had to wash all the silverware by hand prior to use.

Relaxing week

We absolutely loved staying here. So peaceful and relaxing next to the water. The house was so cute and decorated so nicely. The beds were all so comfy too. It had everything we needed. Would stay here again for sure.

Harbour-front Haven

We absolutely loved our stay in this unique cottage on the water. Beautifully decorated, and clean. Very picturesque views, we loved sitting on the deck looking out at the water and we enjoyed campfires at night. The beds were very comfortable and lots of space for our family. We also enjoyed the little bunk house! The cottage was walking distance to such unique shops and great restaurants. Couldn’t be better! Highly recommend!

What an absolute gem!

This property is absolutely stunning, with the bay views and a dock right of to the water, I highly recommend this for your next Vancouver island adventure. The beds were so comfortable, the kitchen is well stocked with everything you need and more. There is a washer and drier for your convenience and communication with the host was quick and easy. I 100% will be back for another stay here

The accommodation and the location are both superb. Probably the best holiday rental home I've ever stayed at. I only gave 4 stars for accuracy of description because the images do not do it justice - my advice would be to take more photos or hire a photographer. I contacted Danielle a couple of times (not because of any problems) and received a quick response, friendly and professional. I have literally nothing negative to say about this accommodation - it is stunning. I hope for Danielle's sake that the accommodation is fully booked on all available dates. I hope for my sake that everyone else overlooks it so it will be free for me to book again for my next trip next year.

Beautiful ocean-front property just steps from great parking for our 2 vehicles. Cowibbean Cottage is well set up with harbour views from the bedrooms, living room, and bunkie. We spent lots of time on the deck, eating our meals while watching the tide come and go. Looking down, we saw crabs and other creatures as the water cleared and lowered. We saw seals swim past, a heron land nearby, a bald eagle fly overhead, and lots of swallows, and seagulls. No mosquitoes, which is probably due to the presence of voracious purple martins. A wonderful cottage for a family vacation and one we’ll remember and return to when we can.
