Tucked away in area between Cimarron and Mill Plain, this incredible two bedroom retreat is perfect for business or travelers with a small family. One side of the home is a separate unit while the retreat you will stay in has private access to the side yard, unit, and the entire back area.



Upon entering the space, you will see an incredibly well furnished setting that combines the living, kitchen, and dining area. Every piece was procured to create that perfect blend of comfort and style. The two bedrooms are fully equipped to host any traveler for their stay.



Both inside and out have something for everyone. Enjoy a moment in the afternoon sun while grilling up something special on the BBQ at the front of the retreat. If the mood strikes, meander to the back patio and enjoy a drink or bite under the umbrella.



The Mill Plain Retreat sits in a quiet suburb just minutes from downtown Vancouver, Portland, and the airport. You would be hard pressed to find a more complete and comfortable location for your stay in the area.



PET FRIENDLY: **There is a $100 pet fee per pet with a maximum of $300 (3 pets). Although we are pet-friendly please note your pet must not be left unattended at the house without you present, even if in a crate/kennel. Failure to adhere to the house rules as it pertains to pets may result in cancellation of the booking with no refund. **

Comfortable Home Away

This gave us a nice home base as we visited family in Vancouver. We also liked the walkable neighborhood and access to a friendly coffee shop. The kitchen was useful and well equipped too.

Cats and on one night a raccoon walking along the fence to the door. Occupants of other part of house (wasn’t clear there would be through-the-wall neighbors) put out bowls/plates of food each night that brought the above-mentioned critters to the house. Water in sinks and showers took longer than expected to get hot.

The location was so close to my daughter's neighborhood. It was a perfect place for me for a short visit with family. Access was easy and the accommodations were great and inclusive. All the comforts. Property Management was very communicative. Simple check-in for a home-like stay.

A nice place

A good place for us as it was close to our sons place and it allowed pets. We had a small problem with the dishwaser not working and the owner himself was very quick to respond and had the problem fixed in a no time at all. We would definatly stay there again.

Overall it was okay. The bedding was not clean and the support on the frame leaves the head and feet falling through the frame in the master bedroom. Very surface level clean but needs to be deep cleaned. Bathroom smells of mildew. Lights went out nearly 2 hours before our check out time. They responded it was a local outage but the other part of the home had the ac blowing and neighbors lights were on. It worked but expensive for cleanliness

Vancouver unit

Pretty much as we expected from the online descriptions. The unit is well furnished and the attached residents were quite friendly. Nice neighborhood and close to shopping. About 15-20 minutes to PDX. Main reason we selected this unit was the proximity to our family.

Short stay

Place was very nice but neighbor dog kept busting the fence down our entire visit. It was brought up to the manager and they said they would discuss it. I hope they get it fixed prior to the next guest.

Smokers and watching thru window.

Walked in smelled like smokey hotel. Pillows bedding and air. The door to house has painters tape but does not help. We didnt stay the second night because of allergies.

Cozy, great location

Perfect place for 3 adults and a dog to land for 4 weeks. Quiet neighborhood, everything you need close by & the Columbia River is 10 minutes away. We went up and down The Gorge numerous times and didn't have to deal with the Portland traffic. Host was very helpful and quiet. This is a sizable space and nicely decorated. Nice deck to sit outside, with a BBQ that worked great. In the living room you could hear noises from the host's kitchen. But never during the night. Door code changed on us 3 times but iTrip responded quickly.

House of Cat Pee

This place was absolutely disgusting full of cat hair and cat urine. There was a fresh stain of cat urine on the mattress and blanket rolled up in the closet with cat urine on it. The towels were full of human hair. The sheets had cat hair and human hair on them. Luckily I had my own to use the one night I stayed. The rental company said they didn’t know what smell I was talking about but when my husband and son went back to stay another two nights out of necessity, the rental company had all windows open, an ozone odor remover in the space and doors to the main house taped up. It helped some but was still barely tolerable. My husband turned on the fan and a long think roll of hair and dust landed on the bed. He opened a drawer in the kitchen and there were open packages of snacks spilled in the drawer. So gross all the way around. I made it through one night but had to make alternative arrangements and was not compensated for misrepresentation. Husband and son suffered through 3 nights, (had planned for 5 nights) but only to sleep on our own sheets and to use our own towels! Absolutely stay away!

We find this review quite surprising and false to say the least. You checked in and reported some issues that we gladly said we could come out to evaluate. You requested a full refund right away and said you were leaving. During your departure we did go to the home and did not find any evidence of what you described. We proceeded to have the home clean since you had stayed but a few dates later you returned to finish out the rest of your booking. We believe this review to be posted since you were not given a full refund for issues that were fabricated. We are confident are all our other 5 star reviews give a clear picture of what our guests may expect when staying with us.
