Very nice place to stay! The entry way was very spacious for a large group with all our snowmobile gear! Parking was great for trailers!

Perfect for a large group

Perfect location and slept a lot of people. We went skiing nearby at Snow River Resort, which was just a short drive away. You can tell it used to be a bar, what a unique feature.

This place is absolutely fantastic. House is cozy and convenient for families with kids. Lots of trails for snowmobiles, skiing, tubing and all the snow activities. Great memories!

A Bar With Beds and Fire

What a fun and unique location. We enjoyed the masive bar, indoor amd outdoor fireplaces and ample sleeping space. Would highly recommend.

yearly group ski trip

property housed a us all 20 people and everyone had a place to sleep. 3 bedrooms and loft, some creative room assignments. Lots of amenities. Very close to Ironwood and Wolverine ski trails. Clear instructions for check in/out. Light switches took a lot of time to figure out.

Where’s the Snow?

Even with a lack of snow this skiing season, this special oasis in Bessemer provided lots of memory making with our kids and Grands. What a delightful place! Loved all the animals! Thank you!

If I can give this place more than 5 stars I would! It's clean, quiet and spacious. Couldn't ask for a better host. The cabin was absolutely stunning. Everything went smoothly and the place was super welcoming. All of us had a room to stay in and it had everything we needed and more! There are many attraction all around that we all enjoyed. It was beautifully decorated on the inside as well! I recommended this unique cabin! Wonderful place to stay!

Snow and Bros

This was our 2023 pock for my annual sled trip. We have a group of 10 family and friend members that traveled from Germany, Boston, Minneapolis, Dallas, Oklahoma City and Cumming, Iowa. The home layout is perfect for a larger group. Enjoyed everything about our stay. We left a our bottle of Stapleton and Buffalo Trace on appreciation.

Perfect location

We celebrated 2 birthdays here and on the slopes and everyone had an absolute blast. We made use of the ample living space, accessible kitchen, fireplaces, cards, large dining room, and pool table. Our group had a weekend to remember! Three small criticisms that did not impact the quality of our stay: trash bags appeared to be scarce, we struggled to figure out how to pipe our music through the main floor speakers, and the Glade room sprays and plug-ins everywhere gave us headaches (but it was easy to turn them off for the weekend). Overall, we would absolutely book again!

Great place to stay.

Super clean and spacious place.Plenty of room outside for trailer parking. We were able to fit 4 24 ft trailers without out any problems. We stayed there multiple times, winter and summer. Summer times we were able to rent side by sides and drive them to the house. Trail is across the street. It hard to find anything wrong with this property. Did I mention there is a bar on the top floor. I would recommend 100%

Great space, just don't stay there when there is expected rain.

While the property was expansive to give lots of hangout areas, we had a major water issue. There was a heavy rain which caused a bedroom to flood. The rug was soaking wet and there was standing water. We were unable to use this bedroom which had 3 beds in it. We adjusted. However, the soaked rug was supposed to be picked up and never was, so the rest of the area with the other bedrooms smelled so bad of mustiness, 5 adults had to find different sleeping arrangements. This was for 2 of our 3 night stay. No follow up from the property manager or owner. Very disappointing. We paid a lot of money to sleep on couches and not be able to use the entire lower level for 75% of our stay

Great for a large group!

This property is fantastic for a large group, and has much more to offer than what is in the listing. We vacationed with our extended family, with 20 people. There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out. We were worried about the bathroom situation, but there are more than listed. There are 2 full baths with showers, one half bath, and 2 commercial bathrooms with two stalls in each, for a total of 7 toilets. There are many more couches than can be seen in the photos. There are 3 large recliner sofas in the front of the living space plus 3 more couches and a large chair toward the back of the space. There are a few couches in the basement as well. The deck has a table and chairs and a large outside sectional. There are 4 large benches around the fire pit. All bedrooms are in the basement with the exception of the two beds in the loft. This property used to be used commercially as a bar and restaurant, so there is plenty of room for a large group to spread out. The kids had a blast playing in the basement while the adults enjoyed the bar area on the main level. The kitchen is well stocked, we cooked most of our meals there. The host was quick to respond to questions. The location was very private, but also within a couple miles of town and groceries. Lake Superior beaches are a 15-20 min drive away with many neat waterfalls and parks on the way. We really enjoyed this property!

awesome place

we have been to this place several times, if you are looking for peace and quiet, this is what this house is like. Skiing nearby, long walks in the forest, blissful silence and plenty of fresh air. The house is equipped with a sauna, and various games, table tennis, etc., if the evenings seem long ....... we will be there again someday.
