Tranquil Retreat big enough for all the family

House is nestled in a tranquil bush setting on the top of a picturesque coastal suburb.
Only a short stroll (less than 5 minutes) along the serene bush track to beautiful, secluded beaches. The local supermarket and restaurant (great pizza) is a 5-minute drive, plus Mogo Zoo, Moruya markets and the bustling Bateman's Bay are all only 15-minutes by car.

The house has plenty of places to relax and unwind including a huge deck to watch birdlife and enjoy a BBQ. Plus, there is spacious downstairs lounge area to cool off on a hot summer's day. There is air conditioning upstairs and down with large TVs in both lounge areas. The full kitchen has all you need to cater for larger groups, and there is a fireplace with an abundance of chopped firewood for those colder nights.

The main bedroom has a luxurious queen bed with huge ensuite.

Second bedroom has bunks for the little ones (or larger ones).

Bedroom 3 has a large comfortable queen bed.

Bedroom 4 has another queen bed.

All bedrooms have built-in wardrobes, plus linen and towels are provided for your stay. Please however bring your own beach towels as they are not provided.

This is a non-smoking house and no pets or parties please.

A security deposit of $500 is required upon booking.

I found the beach was further away then expected. No beach views from home apart from that everything was fantastic had everything we needed +more.

Lots of pros and a few cons too

Fantastic location. Rosedale beaches are lovely and not busy. The house has lovely wooden floors in the main areas, large couch, massive TV in the living room, where we connected to our own Netflix, and the place has good Wifi, which was great. The beds are OK, the main bedroom mattress is probably the best, but the rest are not very comfortable and I think quite old. The mattresses in the bunk room are definitely old and uncomfortable and smell quite dusty/musty. There is a good fridge, microwave and oven, so that was good and the BBQ is a newer Weber which was also great. The dining table and rug needs updating or cleaning as it was so old. I don't really care about old, but it also had an unpleasant/unclean smell. We never ate at the inside table, only outside because of this reason. One other main issue, was that when we came back to have a shower after the beach, the hot water ran out after two showers sometimes. We contacted the property manager, and it took two days for them to respond. I called twice and sent a message. They were travelling overseas and hard to reach, which was very poor. We found out that the hot water was set to off peak, and hadn't been told. Very disappointing when it's over $550 a night. Overall, we had a good stay with our friends and the house could be great, with a few small improvements.
