Pet friendly stay for couples close to the beach

Litoria Mission Beach is a pavilion home located in the beachside village of Mission Beach. Tucked against reserve and less than a minutes’ walk (about 150m) from the beach, you’ll experience the best of both worlds when you stay at Litoria. Designed for the tropics, you’ll love Litoria’s breezeway and living pod that opens up on three sides to capture the sea breezes. With the bedroom and living pods joined by decking, 1 bedrooms and 1.5 bathrooms, free Wi-Fi and a fully fenced yard, Litoria provides the perfect getaway for couples and their furry friends.

The space
Litoria was designed for holidaying in the tropics—the perfect couples getaway. We’ve done many road trips staying in some great holiday houses and we wanted to include the best bits in our little piece of paradise.

Experience nature without compromising your creature comforts with the modern open plan design. You’ll enjoy rainforest and garden views from the kitchen, living and dining building (pod) which opens up onto the outdoor living area—the heart of the house. Why not whip up a gourmet dinner in the fully equipped kitchen (down to the kitchen scales), throw a sausage on the barbecue on the undercover patio or brew up an early morning coffee and enjoy the birdsongs on the back deck before the rest of the house rises!

At Litoria the indoors merge with the out, providing a relaxed resort feel. Living and bedroom pods are connected by a decked breezeway, interspersed with gardens and a water feature, which captures the cool sea breezes. Our modern bathroom also embraces our tropical surrounds, opening up onto private garden courtyards.

Fully pet friendly with concrete floors and fences, there is no need to leave your furry friend at home. We allow pets indoors but not on the furniture. An additional cleaning fee will be charged if your pets have been on the furniture. Pet bowls are also provided.

We provide a welcome kit on arrival with dishwashing liquid, dishwasher tablets, washing powder, toilet paper, hand wash and shower gel—just enough to get you started. There is a Woolworths supermarket 5mins drive around the corner.

To make your stay comfortable we’ve also included:

Configuration
As a pavilion home our 4 bedrooms are spread over two pods (buildings), however for couples we offer access to just one bedroom within the main bedroom pod at a reduced nightly rate. You will still have exclusive use of the property, but access to one bedroom only. The pod also has an ensuite, powder room and laundry (with washer and dryer). All bedrooms have air-conditioning, a ceiling fan, security screens on opening windows, a wardrobe, bedside tables and lamps.

Note: if the second bedroom is accessed during your stay, you will be charged an additional fee on departure.

Guest access
As our guests you will have exclusive access to the house and fenced gardens.

As with many seaside towns, mobile phone coverage does vary with provider and location depending on tower signals. If you are with Telstra or Optus you will experience the best coverage. Unfortunately, mobile phone coverage can be an issue for Vodafone users. At the house, connect to our free Wi-Fi and enable Wi-Fi calling on your mobile.

Woolworths supermarket opens six days a week, but it’s closed on Sunday’s. There is a mini-mart and fruit shop, located in the main Mission Beach township, that open on Sunday’s for any essential supplies.

Mission Beach has some great cafes and restaurants spread across the four seaside villages. Most are only small, so we recommend you make reservations especially for dinner.
